Abstract: A quick release system for releasing armor plates from a vest or other garment including a pocket associated with the front torso portion of the vest for selectively receiving a first armor plate, a pocket associated with the rear torso portion of the vest for selectively receiving a second armor plate, and a flexible retainer element in conjunction with at least one connector element associated with each of the front and rear pockets for selectively retaining the first and second armor plates therewithin, pulling the flexible retainer element releasing the armor plates from their respective pockets. A release handle is located on the front of the vest and is attached to the retainer element for facilitating pulling of the retainer element to release the front and rear armor plates in one easy motion.

Abstract: A training mitten and/or glove and methods of use thereof for training how to field is provided. The training mitten and training glove each separately comprise a thumb portion, finger portions and a hand portion bearing a design of an alligator's head, eyes, mouth and teeth. The training glove and training mitten may be modified to include two and three dimensional structure to accentuate characteristics of the head of an alligator. Artwork designs of features of an alligator are included with the training mitten and glove. An educational training and/or safety method for teaching how to field a ball is also provided and comprises the step of holding a training glove or a first training mitten in near proximity to a second training mitten in an open position and securing a ball by holding the training glove or a first training mitten in near proximity to a second training mitten in a closed position.

Accordingly, the device includes a stiffening device having a central stiffening member arranged between two opposing layers, one layer having an exterior face having an adhesive. One method of use includes locating an interior portion of a trouser leg, preferably near the hem-line, where stiffening is desired and arranging the device vertically starting at the hem-line at a rear portion of the interior portion of the trouser leg. Finally, adhering the device to the interior portion of the trouser leg using an adhesive provided on the device.

The first opening has a larger circumference than the second opening. The wrist covering further includes a thumb aperture in the tubular member proximate to the second opening. A first fastener is positioned on the tubular member in a manner that allows tightening of the tubular member around the user's hand. A second fastener is positioned on the tubular member in a manner that allows tightening of the tubular member around the user's wrist. A third fastener is positioned on the tubular member in a manner that allows tightening of the tubular member around the user's forearm. A method of making the wrist covering is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a self-contained unit which employs a manually operable platform/seat attached to a u-channel rail system for the purposes of personal hygiene. The unit mounts to the wall of a shower or bath stall. The system is designed to aid those individuals in need of a secure and stable sitting platform that is vertically adjustable to accommodate the individual user's height. This unit facilitates bathing, showering and other personal hygiene requirements. The unit contains 2 swivel armrests that provide the user stability when moving in and out of the chair and an overhead retractable cage for added security for those individuals requiring additional support. I have found that the advantages of such a devise can reduce bath area accidents caused by slipping and instability and enables those individuals who are physically challenged the freedom to shower independently in a secure environment. There are no known devises of this nature.

The sensors detect the indicator's position reaching a predetermined alarm or shutoff level, causing respective initiating an alarm signal, or terminating the input unit's water flow. Another embodiment additionally comprises an output water unit associated with the circuitry, incorporating a temperature sensor and a user preset-temperature selector. The output unit outlets cooled water from the bathtub, the input unit inlets hot water until the preset-temperature is reached, provided no alarm signal was issued. An additional sensor, incorporated in the input unit, allows adding the hot water when it's hotter than the bathtub water.
