Abstract: A process is provided for manufacturing an exhaust gas treatment device (2), which has an exhaust gas treatment insert (4), which is clamped in a housing (8) by at least one mounting mat (6) enveloping the insert (4). An individual geometry of the housing (8), which geometry is individually adapted to the particular insert (4) and to the particular mounting mat (6), is determined as a function of the weight of the particular insert (4) and of the particular mounting mat (6). The housing (8), the particular insert (4) and the particular mounting mat (6) are mounted as a function of the individual geometry determined. The quality of manufacture can be improved if the geometry is determined such that a predetermined clamping force is present in the mounted state and if the weight of the particular mounting mat (6) is determined separately and is taken into account separately in the determination of the geometry.

Abstract: In a cleaner, a fuel cell is provided as a power supply and power generated by the fuel cell is used for driving a pump which pumps up ethanol as cleaning liquid to a cleaning pan or a fan for drying, and also used for charging a shaver. Since the cleaner is not required to be installed in a water section unlike a conventional cleaner, a selection range of storage place of the shaver can be widened; since power supply wiring is not required, troublesomeness due to power supply wiring is eliminated and convenience is enhanced furthermore. Heat of the fuel cell is introduced through a heat pipe to the blade edge and used for drying it, thus enhancing energy utilization efficiency of the fuel cell.

Abstract: An angle sensor includes two measuring pinions which rotate in the same direction in response to a drive pinion rotating. The measuring pinions have different absolute angular positions after rotating. The absolute angular position of the drive pinion is determinable from the absolute angular positions of the measuring pinions. A delta wheel between the measuring pinions has two coaxially arranged rings. One ring engages the second measuring pinion and the other ring engages the first measuring pinion such that the rings rotate relative to one another in the same direction in response to the measuring pinions rotating in the opposite direction. A spring connecting the rings together biases the rings to move in opposite directions toward one another after the rings have been rotated relative to one another in the same direction such that the rings respectively press the measuring pinions against the drive pinion.

Abstract: A tool for measuring an object having a circularly curved surface provides a generally rectilinear body defining a V notch having two converging sides meeting at an apex and an angulated wedge track. A wedge movable along the wedge track and across the V notch intersects a bisector of the V notch at an angle other than perpendicular. Sides of the V notch and a measuring edge of the wedge simultaneously contact the circular curve at three equally spaced apart positions along the circumference of the circular curve. Measuring indicia on the body adjacent the wedge track allows determination of the lateral movement of the wedge along the wedge track. A rotation of a first rotor of the first rotary encoder is transmitted to a second rotor via a relay gear that is meshed with a first gear provided on an outer circumference of a first rotary cylinder and a second gear provided on an outer circumference of a second rotary cylinder. Thus, an absolute position of the spindle is calculated on the basis of two phase signals that are different in cycle. The lower end of the pole is mounted on the bicycle and has a length sufficient to elevate the sign frame to a height that is above the rider's head when the bicycle is being ridden. The frame is coupled to the pole with a pivoting device so that the frame can swivel around the pole as moved by the wind. A sign displaying advertising material is secured to the frame and is then broadcast over a given geographical area as the bicycle is ridden through the area.

Abstract: A cushioned wristband includes a carrier having a multi-layered band portion and a strap sewn to the back of the band portion of the carrier. The band has a surface with loop material and the strap has a surface of hook material, the hook and loop surfaces being intended to secure the band in place as it is wrapped about a patient's appendage. The strap is appropriately sized to insert through one or both of two cinch slots of a self-laminating hang tag which may be printed with patient information and separated from a sheetlet or page sized business form processed through a printer for imaging of patient information thereon. The band portion of the carrier includes a cushioned layer of soft foamy or spongy material for contacting a patient's skin to thereby substantially eliminate any possibility for abrasion, rash, or other irritation or injury to the patient through wearing of the wristband.

The tail may be fed through the guide channel and the cutting channel into the ratchet, thereby allowing the ratchet to engage the teeth, which in turn prevents the tail from being disengaged from the ratchet, thereby securing the tag to a product. The product may be easily released by severing the portion of the tag in the cutting channel. The cutting channel can also provide a guide which helps to prevent damaging the product as the tag is remove.

Abstract: An improved structure of a picture display frame comprising a framework, a picture and a grating plate, wherein the picture has more than one image, and is assembled with the grating plate in the framework. The grating plate has a smooth plane surface facing outwards of the framework and has an undulated surface formed from a series of columns facing inwards of the framework and are opposite to the picture spaced therefrom, a gap is formed between the picture and the grating plate; the gap is set to be equal to depth of focusing of the columns of the grating plate formed in refraction of light beams. The surface of the grating plate can be applied by spraying with scraping durable paint, it needs not to increase the thickness of the grating plate for having a deep focus and a good stereographic effect, this largely reduces the cost of the grating plate.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a temperature regulated, pressure activated liquid scent dispenser. The pressure in the interior of the container may increase as ambient temperature increases. A release structure of the container may release a portion of the liquid scent once a threshold pressure or threshold amount of pressure build-up is reached in the interior of the container. A method comprises filling the interior volume with a liquid scent so that the interior volume also includes a volume of air, suspending the dispenser over a ground surface, and dispensing the liquid scent from the interior volume through the release structure. Due to an increase of pressure of the volume of air, and upon reaching a threshold air pressure, the release structure releases a portion of the liquid scent from the interior volume. Applications may include dispensing animal attractant or repellent.

Such motor fuel compositions can be produced by blending gasoline with hydrous ethanol, thus evading the necessity to use anhydrous ethanol as feedstock. Furthermore such motor fuel compositions may be produced by blending gasoline with hydrous ethanol and anhydrous ethanol, thus evading the necessity to use anhydrous ethanol as the sole feedstock. These motor fuel compositions may contain a second liquid phase that does not form a separate layer, and where no separate liquid phase can be detected by vision, and so meets with the specification that has become known as “clear and bright”.
