Abstract: An insect controlling ball cap for outdoorsman and hunters includes a plurality of user serviceable pest control segments that are user attached to various segments of the hat, while preserving user comfort. A kit for retrofitting to a conventional cap is also disclosed. Attachment means made of Velcro®-brand fastener material for mounting critical components comprises an elongated anchoring band is disposed around the cap's dome, a secondary band at the rear, and an upper attachment disk. A plurality of insect control segments are mounted in spaced, offset relation atop the cap. A plurality of attachment tabs packaged on peel-away strips fasten the control segments to the attachment means. A sticky outer surface of the control segments treated with an insect capturing, gummy substance captivates insect pests.

Abstract: An integrated garment and storage unit system can include a storage unit, one or more carrying straps attached to the storage unit, a garment body configured to be worn on a user's torso, a first fastener attached to the garment body proximate to the waist opening, and a second fastener attached on the exterior surface of the garment body on the back side. the first and second fasteners can be positioned such that when the garment body is folded or rolled two or more times onto itself the second fastener is positioned proximate to the first fastener such that the first and the second fasteners can be joined to secure the garment body for storage on the first side of the storage unit so that the folder or rolled garment body fits at least approximately within the first area. Related systems, apparatus, methods, and/or articles are also described.

Abstract: A soccer sock woven from Lycra/Spandex has a protective pad sewn to the upper metatarsal prominence area of the sock, to provide protection for the wearer's foot. A tongue portion protects the metatarsal area, and wing portions protect his/her ankle joint. The pad is of layered construction, an inner layer being of closed cell polyurethane foam, and an outer layer being of molded elastomeric material more rigid than the readily compressible inner layer. The laminated pad layers are held in place by an outer fabric skin adhered to the molded elastomeric material and sewn to the sock fabric with parallel peripherally extending stitching. The pad is 3 to 6 millimeters in thickness, each layer being of different density and compressibility to accommodate the forces reacted from blows to the pad during use, and the holding forces required to secure the pad to the sock itself.

Abstract: A protective over-garment is disclosed that can be manufactured entirely by making cuts in a single sheet of plastic or other flexible material. In preferred embodiments it is disposable. The sheet has a neck hole in the center and covers the user's shoulders, upper arms, back, and chest. A cut radiating from the hole allows insertion of the user's head. The rim of the hole is held against the wearer's neck by tying together two strips of material formed by cuts that partially separate them from the sheet. Similar strips can hold the first cut and/or the sides of the garment closed. In preferred embodiments the sheet can be rectangular, hourglass, or double-hourglass in shape, and/or the sheet can be folded to fit in a standard home hair coloring kit. Cuts can be perforated, and the garments can be manufactured as a continuous length of sheets joined at perforated intersections.

A glue layer is disposed between said connecting material and the joint of the front portion and the back portion by ultrasonic. The elastomer set in the bra cup, the front portion, the fundus material and the steel circle are connected by solid glue or gluewater. The present invention provides a seamless swimsuit without any suture or patchwork. The steel circle is embedded in the swimsuit to make it comfortable and beautiful.

The pocket linings and straps may be drawn out to invert the pocket into a backpack configuration. The remainder of the garment may be entirely placed in the backpack and carried therein.

The earmuff device allows a user to conveniently adjust the length of the headpiece as well as the angular position of the headpiece relative to the earmuff cups.

Abstract: Insulating beverage holder that can be fitted and carried inside a baseball cap. The insulating holder has a body made of a sheet of insulative fabric, with fasteners along fabric sides of the body. Fasteners are zip-lock strips or touch-fastener strips. The body is folded together and the sides fastened together to form a cup. The body, when opened out, fits inside a conventional baseball cap. The upper edges of the body can be tucked behind a finish edge on the cap, to hold the insulating holder body in place, even when the cap is removed from the head. The insulating holder may incorporate a strap for holding a bottle opener. The beverage holder may also be mounted on the outside surface of the baseball cap. Mating fastener strips are provided on the outside surface, which allow the body to be easily attached to or removed from the cap.

Abstract: A garment hem adjustment system and method, comprising a plurality of fasteners mounted on a surface of a garment proximal to the hem of the garment. The fasteners are aligned in a first column along an inseam of the garment and in a second column along an outseam of the garment. The fasteners are spaced apart a predetermined distance corresponding to a desired adjustment of the garment hem. The lowermost fastener in the first and second columns is adapted to releasably connect to the remaining fasteners in the column. Means are provided for preventing the garment hem from sagging between the columns of fasteners when the lowermost fastener in each column is releasably connected to another fastener in the column.

Abstract: A low profile protective helmet having an interior surface that is immediately adjacent the top of the wearer's head when the helmet is being worn. The interior surface defines a distal point which represents the furthest distance between the top of the wearer's head and the interior surface when the helmet is being worn. The height of the low profile helmet is approximately 4.7 inches and the distal point is approximately 1.3 inches to the top of the wearer's head which is at least 1 inch closer to the top of the wearer's head than with prior art hard hats. The close fit minimizes the weight of the helmet itself, and provides stability of the helmet on the head. The helmet includes shock absorbing means integral to the outer shell that defines a first extension and a second extension in perpendicular relationship with the first extension such that the outer shell is of a relatively greater depth along the defined extensions.

Abstract: Swimming goggles have a frame unit, lenses and buckles assembled on the frame unit, and at least a head strap with a plurality of stop grooves. Each buckle comprises an abutting arm having a stop end, an operating lever being movable transversely and bringing the abutting arm to move, and an offset portion between the abutting arm and the operating lever. When the operating lever moves transversely, the offset portion makes the stop end of the abutting arm move upward or downward to abut or release the stop grooves of the head strap. The swimming goggles adjust length of the head strap easily.

Abstract: A strap adjusting device includes a buckle having two through-holes spaced by a partitioning wall. A pressing member is slideably and rotatably received in each through-hole. The pressing members are movable relative to the buckle to adjust a distance between each pressing member and a pressing edge in each through-hole. At least one resilient strap is mounted to a body of a pair of swimming goggles and includes two ends each of which is wound around one of the pressing members. The strap is pullable to adjust tightness of the strap when the pair of swimming goggles is worn on the head of the user. The pulling force acting on the strap urges each pressing member to move toward one of the pressing edges to tightly clamp the strap and to fix a length of the strap.

The pool can have a base, a side wall, and a horizontal support member, and at least a portion of the side wall can be positioned between the base and horizontal support member. The splash guard can comprise a pocket extending along the side wall. The pocket can comprise an outer pocket wall and an inner pocket wall. The outer and inner pocket walls can extend upwardly from the side wall, with the inner pocket wall positioned between the outer pocket wall and the pool interior. The pocket can receive the horizontal support member through an aperture in the outer pocket wall. Positioned between the outer pocket wall and the pool interior, the inner pocket wall can reduce an amount of media exiting the pool through the aperture in the outer wall.

A flexible hose is connected to a second piece of the handheld shower assembly and so that a portion of the flexible hose extends through the bore in the first piece and through the through hole formed in the whirlpool tub deck.

The bar is a non-reinforced structure having no internal metallic reinforcing members. In one example, the bar is constructed from a gas-assisted injection molding process that creates a hollow within the bar. The bar includes a gripping area on the rear side, and is over-molded with a thermo plastic elastomer in one example. A single attachment feature, such as a lag screw, is provided at each of the opposing legs to secure the grab bar to the wall. An aesthetic cover is secured to the bar to enclose the fastening element.

Abstract: Provided herein are adapters useful in constructing countertops for kitchens and other areas in which fixtures such as sinks and cooking range tops are desired to be installed. Through use of an adapter according to the invention, on-site cutting of holes or voids in stone countertops is eliminated and countertops may be fabricated using plain rectangular slabs of stone or other materials readily. Use of an adapter according to the invention reduces labor and costs associated with countertop fabrication and installation.

A first adjustable tensioning assembly is in communication with the first side of the body support assembly and a second adjustable tensioning assembly is in communication with the second side of the body support assembly. Further, a first suspension support assembly is in communication with the first end of the body support assembly and a second suspension support assembly in communication with the second end of the body support assembly. The first and second adjustable tensioning assemblies each include a tension adjustment device. A method of use for the adjustable suspension sleep device is also disclosed.

Abstract: An apparatus for lifting a mattress so as to facilitate the bed making process and make changing bed linens less strenuous. The apparatus comprises an inflatable member disposed between a mattress and box springs of a bed and having each of a predetermined shape and a predetermined size and being formed of a predetermined material. A fluid communication means is engageable at a first end thereof with the inflatable member and an air pump is engageable with a second end of the fluid communication means for providing air for inflating the inflatable member. A power means is engageable with the air pump for providing power to operate the air pump and a switch means is engageable between the power means and the air pump means for activating and deactivating the air pump. A valve means is disposed in one of the fluid communication means and the pump means for controlling inflation and deflation of the inflatable member as desired.
