One embodiment employs sleeves that cover both arms of a user entirely and end with thin, elastic cuffs or bands at the wrists. Abstract: There is provided an exercise garment according to which the exercise performance in various types of exercise accompanied by rotation of the trunk and movement of the arms can be sufficiently improved. With the exercise garment 1, when the exercise garment 1 is being worn, tightening forces due to first tightening portions 21 act on the scapulae and the scapula-surrounding muscle groups, so that the scapulae and the scapula-surrounding muscle groups are supported such that the extent of mobility of the scapulae is broadened when the wearer cares out rotation of the trunk or movement of the arms. Moreover, the tightening force due to one of the first tightening portions 21 is transmitted to the other first tightening portion 21 via second tightening portions 22. As a result, movement of one scapula linked to the movement of the other scapula is promoted, and hence the extent of mobility of the scapulae is further broadened.

Abstract: A magnetic clip that attaches a woman's top garment to her bra at the midsection between the bra cups. The clip pulls the woman's top garment down onto the bra and the top garment conforms to the shape of the bra thus increasing the curves of the wearer. A ferric disc on the inside of the midsection of the bra is magnetically attached to a magnet on the outside of the midsection thus squeezing the midsection. A magnet or ferric decoration placed on the outside of the woman's top garment magnetically attaches to the magnet located on the midsection of the bra. The magnets are preferentially neodymium magnets.

The region is configured and disposed to substantially conceal an object (e.g., a handgun magazine) retained in the region from a person viewing the garment. The pocket further comprises a retaining device disposed in the region. The retaining device is configured and disposed to hold the object in a fixed position in the region.

Abstract: An inexpensive and highly decorative band that may be used to adorn a user's sock. In one example embodiment, the band is used to decorate a child's sock for certain social activities such as church, school events and wedding ceremonies, etc. The decorative band uses an elastomeric material which easily adjusts to the child's or user's leg. The article is worn around the open end of the sock. The highly decorative band is compatible with all sock materials. One novel feature of the highly fashionable band is the use of invisible thread that prevents the unsightly staining of the highly decorative band. The highly fashionable band utilizes a braided elastomeric material for extra strength and durability.

Abstract: A ball marker patch is described which contains a magnet embedded within two layers of material in a magnet pocket, where the external layer has advertising space on both the patch portion and the magnet pocket portion, which combined with possible advertising space of the outer face of the ball marker, provides three separate advertising spaces as opposed to the single advertising space available in previous caps. The patch can be permanently or removably attached to a variety of parts of various items of clothing. Because the magnet pocket contains curved edges, the ball marker is easy to remove from the magnet pocket.

Abstract: The invention is a hosiery garment adapted with specialized ends configured for interconversion between an open-toe configuration and a closed-toe configuration depending on the selective preferences of the wearer. A hosiery garment, in accordance with the present invention, comprises a first longitudinal segment with a first end detachably coupled to said first longitudinal segment, said first end adapted to fit a first lower extremity of a human body, wherein said first end includes a first slit opening for exposing said first lower extremity of said human body; and a second longitudinal segment with a second end detachably coupled to said second longitudinal segment, said second end adapted to fit a second lower extremity of said human body, wherein said second end includes a second slit opening for exposing said second lower extremity of said human body. Embodiments of the present invention include without limitation, hosiery garments such as pantyhose, stockings, and similar hosiery items.

Abstract: A fluid safety liner includes a liner of closed-cell foam that uses a series of channels and reservoirs to spread forces and distribute fluid contained within the liner throughout different areas of the liner. The liner is useable in protective gear such as a helmet and has a shape that conforms to the area of protection. The channel and reservoir system generally includes a mesh of coupled channels and reservoirs in the closed-cell foam. The channel and reservoir system also generally includes an incompressible fluid movable throughout the system for redistributing pressure and absorbing the force of any impact through viscous flow. The reduction in peak force and lengthening of the duration of the force reduces the biomechanical severity (e.g. HIC, Head Injury Criterion) of a blow to the protective gear.

Abstract: A helmet including a structure for protecting the user's head, a comfort structure positioned between the user's head and the protective structure, and a customization structure arranged between the protective structure and the comfort structure, the customization structure making it possible to vary the inner volume of the helmet depending upon the user's morphology. The customization structure includes a thermoplastic envelope made of a polymeric material of the polycarbonate, polyurethane, or polypropylene type, to which an additive of the caprolactone type is added in order to lower the softening temperature thereof. The proportion of the additive in the material of the envelope ranges between 30% and 90% or between 50% and 80%. A free space can be provided between the envelope and the protective structure for the head, such free space remaining empty and having a depth ranging between 2.0 mm and 5.0 mm, such as approximately 3.0 mm.

Abstract: A chinstrap assembly for a helmet having opposite sides and a face opening includes a chin protector and first and second straps extending from the opposite sides of the helmet to opposite ends of the chin protector. A cinching device at each end of the chin protector receives an outgoing segment of the corresponding strap, grips the strap and redirects an incoming segment thereof so that by applying a lateral/rearward tensile force to that incoming segment, the length of the outgoing segment may be set to a selected value which is maintained when the tensile force is relieved.

Abstract: A deodorizer for a toilet having a fill valve and an upstanding overflow pipe includes a fastener for securing the deodorizer to the overflow pipe, a container for holding a supply of a deodorant, a bridge interconnecting the fastener and container, and a venturi assembly for siphoning deodorant from the container and into the overflow pipe. Openings formed into the housing enable replenishment of the deodorant in the container without removal of the container from the toilet.

Abstract: An assembly and method for processing human waste includes providing a supporting base having an opening within which a waste reservoir is affixed. The assembly may be installed on or below a rim of a toilet bowl. Solidification and pathogen killing materials are provided. The materials are deposited in the reservoir either prior to or upon accumulation of waste in the reservoir. The reservoir with the solidified waste is then sealed and transported to a collection facility.

Abstract: This disclosure is related to a system and method which minimizes the period of time in which a drain pump is running in a washing machine unit. The method includes determining the amount of washer fluid used to fill a washing machine tub when the washing machine has entered the draining portion of the cycle, measuring the time it takes in order to trip a water level sensor. The method generally continues with calculating a predicted time to drain and operating a drain pump according to the predicted time to drain. Use of this method minimizes the opportunities for machine malfunctions while further minimizing the opportunity for the pump to run dry, creating noise and increasing the length of the entire washing cycle.

Abstract: Recycled paper pulp is processed to form a rigid paint tray base. The paint tray base is then laminated with a film, which may be fully or partially recyclable and/or biodegradable. The film prevents saturation of the pulp from the paint's moisture, which would damage the integrity of the pulp. Once the painting is completed, the film may be separated from the pulp base. The pulp base may then be discarded with wastepaper or used for compost. The film may be recycled or disposed of with other non-biodegradable waste.
