Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the production of ethene, CO, and hydrogen in a reactor with a circulating fluidized bed with two independent sections, from feedstocks that contain hydrocarbons with at least 11 carbon atoms or from feedstocks with a high oxygen content, using a catalyst in particulate form. The method teaches that in one of the sections of the reactor, in the absence of oxygen, a catalyst containing a dehydrogenation metal promotes the cracking of the said feedstocks, facilitating the subsequent endothermic reactions. In the other section, the coke is burned with air and the heating of the catalyst is controlled, for the adjustment of the appropriate amount of energy that the heated catalyst will convey to the section in which the endothermic reactions take place. The total ethene yield of the process according to the present invention is approximately 20% by weight in relation to the feedstock.

Abstract: A decorative shutter assembly including a plurality of main slats arranged in side-by-side relation, end pieces positioned at each end of the main slats and each including laterally spaced tongues spaced and sized to fit in their respective open ends of the main slats at a respective end of the main slats, and cross slat structures positioned in overlying relationship to seams formed between inboard ends of the end pieces and the respective ends of the main slats. The cross slat structures are removably secured to the end pieces and to the main slats so that, following delivery of the shutter assembly to a building site, the cross slat structures may be removed, the end pieces and main slats may be secured to a building surface utilizing fastener members, and the cross slats may be repositioned over the fastener members to conceal the fastener members.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved wall system where a wall form mold has a structural insulated core assembled to form a structural insulated panel (SIP) to form a concrete beam and concrete column to be poured anywhere within the wall as well as between building modules when placed together and erected vertically. The interlocking wall molds interlock within the wall as well as between panels and modules. The wall panels allow concrete columns and beams to be formed with an ICF in any size and shape. The structural insulated core consists of interlocking foam spacers and support channels which can be glued or screwed together to form an independent wall or as part of a precast wall with columns and beams integrated within the wall panels. Expanded and insulating flanges within the wall forming mold separates the wall forming structure from the wall surfaces.

Abstract: A floor panel with coupling devices is provided. The coupling devices have locking elements which include a curved protrusion which is formed on a lower wall of an upper lip of a groove and adjacent to the entrance of the groove, and a curved recess which is formed in an upper side of a tongue and can match with the curved protrusion. Under the cooperation of the elastic deformation of the upper lip of the groove and the engagement of the locking elements, adjacent floor panels can be coupled together by exerting on them a horizontal pressing force and interlocked tightly by meshing engagement of the curved protrusion at the groove and the curved recess in the tongue without glue or other auxiliary binding material so as to ensure that the adjacent floor panels can not move in both horizontal direction and vertical direction. The floor panels are usually used in a floor decoration of indoor environment and have the advantages of easy installation and tight coupling.

Abstract: A door straightening system for straightening doors includes elongated tension members that extend substantially from a top portion to a bottom portion of the door. The tension members are mechanically strained using an adjustment mechanism that may take the form of threaded components, which when rotated create tension in the tension members sufficient to move the interior and exterior surfaces of the door. The door straightening system may be located in a stile of the door generally within a machined channel or an insert. The door straightening system includes reaction plates that provide the load path between the tension members and the door. In one embodiment, an upper reaction plate is configured to have a desired angle to minimize stress and increase the efficiency of the door straightening system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing structural support and reinforcement for surfaces, materials and devices, including drywall. A structural support and reinforcement system includes one or more structural support and reinforcement panels located behind one or more surfaces, materials and/or devices. In one embodiment, the structural support and reinforcement panel is placed between the structural studs and a desired section of drywall during original construction. In another embodiment, the structural support and reinforcement panel is placed between the structural studs and the desired section of drywall during repair or renovation. A user can apply an external load to the drywall by way of an attachment device, such as a screw, which extends through the drywall and the structural support and reinforcement panel. By attaching the external load through the drywall and the structural support and reinforcement panel the load bearing capacity of the drywall is enhanced.
