Publication number: 20100146779Abstract: A component-embedded printed wiring board (PWB) is disclosed. This PWB includes (a) a fluid-resin embedding section formed at a location corresponding to electronic components such that the embedding section covers the electronic components, (b) a resin flow-speed accelerator placed in parallel with a top face of a circuit board and surrounding the embedding section, and (c) bonding resin placed at least between the accelerator and the circuit board. The fluid resin embedding section is filled up with the same resin as the bonding resin. This structure allows the accelerator to compress the resin with pressure applied to the PWB, so that the resin tends to flow along the circuit board. As a result, the fluid-resin embedding section is thoroughly filled up with the resin without leaving any air, and the reliable PWB is thus obtainable.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2010Publication date: June 17, 2010Inventors: Kazuhiko HONJO, Toshihiko MORI, Eiji KAWAMOTO, Junichi KIMURA, Motoyoshi KITAGAWA

Publication number: 20100146785Abstract: An elastic tubular sleeve (8) in engagement with a tubular supporting element (9) is set to a substantially coaxial position around one of the electric cables (2a, 2b). Subsequently, the conductors (3a, 3b) of the cables (2a, 2b) are mutually connected to obtain a splicing region between said cables. The tubular sleeve (8) in engagement with the supporting element (9) is positioned around the splicing region. By use of a suitable apparatus (100, 101, 102) previously engaged on the sleeve (8) and the supporting element (9), the supporting element (9) is drawn out of the tubular sleeve (8) so as to cause a radial elastic shrinkage of the tubular sleeve (8) capable of inducing an axial ejection thrust on the supporting element (9) itself. Counter devices (12) associated with the apparatus (100, 101, 102) counteract the axial ejection thrust so as to allow the speed at which the supporting element (9) is drawn out of the sleeve (8) itself to be controlled.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2005Publication date: June 17, 2010Inventors: Francesco Portas, Ubaldo Vallauri

Publication number: 20100146786Abstract: A method of stranded electrical wire connection involves stripping the insulation off the ends of stranded wire, inserting a metallic barrel member over the ends of the wire, applying ratcheting pressure to the barrel member to compress the barrel member over each end of the stranded wires, and then applying constant, irreversible ratcheting pressure to the wire containing barrel to substantially eliminate the spaces between the strands and to form a permanent barrel to wire connection between the lengths of wire. A shrink tube with an inner layer of adhesive is positioned over the permanent connection and the shrink tube, with its layer of adhesive, is heated, thus substantially eliminating any space between the shrink tube and the permanent connection. Utilizing the method of the present invention results in a permanent, waterproof connection between the stranded wire which eliminates all expansion and contraction within the permanent connection during use.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2009Publication date: June 17, 2010Inventor: Jeremy Sviben

The hinge assembly has a locking mechanism, which allows the sole assembly to pivot with respect to the heel assembly to adjust a height of the sole assembly over the heel assembly when the locking mechanism is disengaged. The height of the sole assembly over the heel assembly is fixed when the locking mechanism is engaged. The heel assembly has a first inner support and the sole assembly has a second inner support. A pin coupled to a sprocket engages and disengages the first inner support and the second inner support to adjust a height of the sole assembly with respect to the heel assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2009Publication date: June 17, 2010Applicant: Crisp Enterprises, Inc.Inventor: Juliana M. Publication number: 20100146818Abstract: An article of footwear configured for use as a dance shoe is provided. The article of footwear can include an upper and a two-piece sole connected to the upper. The article can also include a cage support that surrounds a portion of the upper and aids in flexibility of the shoe. The article can also include a single piece liner with an integrated toe box. In addition, the shoe can include an offset lacing system. In another arrangement, the shoe can include an elastic wrap, connected to the bottom of the shoe on the inside of the upper. The wrap can act as a tongue to minimize contact between the offset lacing system and the dancer's foot. In yet another arrangement, the shoe can include different types of outsole supports.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 17, 2010Publication date: June 17, 2010Applicant: Nike, Inc.Inventor: Susan L.
