Abstract: The invention relates to a slash and gash resistant protective composite fabric comprising at least one layer of base fabric, wherein the base fabric is a densely woven, ballistic fabric. At least one layer of rigid fabric, each having a base layer and a hard polymer layer having a special matrix, is bonded onto the base layer, and the rigid fabric is cut into strips of material having a scale-like pattern or shape. Each of the strips of material are connected to the layer of base fabric in overlapping layers whereby the base fabric is covered. The protective composite fabric further includes a resilient elastically deformable material having at least one sensor therein for monitoring of vital signs of a wearer, the resilient elastically deformable material being connected with the at least one layer of a base fabric and the rigid fabric.

Abstract: One embodiment of a hand and knee covering combination having animal paw shape and tubular sleeve shape respectively. Constructed to simulate the reality of having fur during imaginary play, the combination solves a need for wearers who enjoy pretending to be an animal. The combination in another embodiment induces continuously variable physical activity thereby reducing boredom during exercise. The combination activates imagination through sensory stimulation creating avenues of interaction between persons previously separated by ability differences. Other embodiments are described and shown.

Abstract: A shield protects an outer garment, such as a pair of pants, against visible staining caused by a small amount of liquid, such as urine or lactating milk. The shield includes a multiple layer laminate constructed of an absorptive layer, a soft plastic barrier layer adjoined on one side to said absorptive layer, and a gripping layer on an opposite side of said soft plastic layer adapted to mechanically lock and adhere onto the outer garment. The shield is placed into the zipper fly or crotch area of any male or female pant garment, or inside of a blouse of a lactating woman. The shield provides a healthy safe barrier between the individual and the garment. It remains securely in place and feels cool and comfortable and can be changed easily when needed.

Abstract: The invention is related to a kind of foam mesh cap. The foam mesh cap has a foam layer that is composed of two pieces of cloth at outer sides and a piece of foam in the middle. Outside the foam layer there is an exterior fabric layer. The three parts are sewed together to form a pad. The two sides of the pad and multiple mesh sheets are sewed to form a cap body. The cap body is then sewed to a cap peak to make the foam mesh cap. As a result, the thick and firm pad can provide instant shape recovery and increase product durability by preventing water from getting into inner layer.

Abstract: A head gear that provides entertainment and effective advertising with a main body and an attached visor body having an upper portion and a lower portion pivotably connected to each other. The main body fits over or around a wearer's head. The upper portion of the visor body has an area for receiving markings, and along the perimeter of the area is a plurality of light source for illuminating the entire area. A user can make different markings in the area. In an open position, the upper portion is at a substantially right angle relative to the lower portion such that the area with the markings is displayed to a viewer in a forward position. In a closed position, the area is concealed and protected by the lower portion. Use of ultraviolet light emitting diodes and phosphorescent or fluorescent markings provide enhanced entertainment and advertisement value.

More specifically, this new uniform includes a shirttail retainer, a microphone sling and an internal hidden and secure cargo pocket on each leg or combinations of one or more of these features. The shirttail retainer utilizes spaced apart silicone rubber friction strips on the outer surface near the waist which cooperate with a friction strip on the inner surface of the pants waistband. The microphone sling hangs from a button on the shoulder hidden beneath the shoulder epaulet. The internal cargo pocket is on the inner surface of the outer leg wall.

Abstract: A sock constructed with an insole comprising of an insole and a sock having a sock body and an opening. The sock, having a sock sole comprised of an inner and an outer sock sole. A pocket is formed between the two sock soles where an insole is to be placed and securely sealed in. The foot of the wearer is to rest on the inner sock sole; thereby, ensuring that the foot of the wearer is not to rest on the insole directly. In conclusion, a sock constructed with an insole prevents the wearer from having to transfer the insoles between different pairs of shoes and offers continuing comfort to the wearer once the shoes are removed.

An indexing element is attached to the fastener, and is formed of material substantially tactilely different from the fastener, the outer panel, or the inner panel, to permit the user to unambiguously locate the point of fastening. Abstract: A faceguard to be mounted on a football helmet which greatly reduces the ability of an opposing player to penetrate the exterior surface of the faceguard and grasp, with his/her hands, the faceguard and rotate the wearer's head in such a way as to cause injury to the wearer's head, neck, or spine. Furthermore, the faceguard will accomplish the above stated while still providing appropriate ventilation for the wearer and allow the wearer to receive water from a standard squeeze type sports water bottle. The faceguard is provided with a flush elastomeric mounting bushing to make the faceguard simpler to manufacture and easier and less awkward to mount to a football helmet. The flush elastomeric mounting bushing provides shock absorption between the faceguard and the helmet at the mounting points.

Abstract: Elongated drain assemblies suitable for use in tiled shower stalls are described. Because the elongated drain is typically located at one edge of the shower stall proximate a stall wall and extends substantially the entire length of the wall, the installation of the associated shower pan is made much simpler. Specifically, the pan need only be sloped substantially in a single direction instead of four towards a prior art circular drain located at the center of a stall. The time and cost of creating a pan having a single slope is reduced over a more complex multi-sloped pan. Several different means for adjusting the height of the drain assemblies' top surfaces relative to the height of the tile floor are provided to adjust for tile floors of differing thicknesses. Various drain grates including a V-shaped drain grate and various spacers including an adjustable spacer are disclosed. Additionally a combination elongated drain assembly and shower door assembly is described.

The memory foam ring intentionally renders the infant mattress somewhat larger than the inner dimensions of the crib. The ring compresses when the mattress is placed in a crib in which opposing side bars are separated by a distance that is smaller than the mattress width. The ring is formed by pouring foam into a rectangular mold around the supporting foam layers. Where the mattress includes pocket coils on the supporting foam layers, the ring of memory foam conforms to the outer row of pocket coils.
