Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a bifurcated swimsuit comprising a form-fitting interior layer and an external layer, and a method of manufacturing the same. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a swimsuit comprises a form fitting interior layer formed of a stretchable synthetic fiber, the form fitting interior layer having two leg portions and a body portion; and an exterior short pant garment attached to and concealing the form fitting interior layer, the exterior short pant garment comprising a water permeable material.

Abstract: The clothes, apparel, or garment, whether it be pants, jeans, trousers, shorts, a skirt, a dress, a shirt, a hat, socks, sweatshirt, jacket, bikini, swim suit, bra, or any other possible item of clothing that has, or could have a pocket as part of the clothing, whereby a pocket as part of a garment has an opening for gaining access to the interior of the pocket. The pocket may include optional closure means or flap for closing the exterior of the pocket. The nodules may be positioned at the top of the ring finger location. The nodules are configured to provide enhanced grip of tools, such as dental instruments. A method including creating a glove using elastomeric material and forming nodules on a first finger of the glove. The glove may be formed using a mold shaped like a hand, dipping the hand shaped mold into the elastomeric material, and drying the elastomeric material. The nodules may be formed on a first finger of the glove by dipping the glove into a mold or by placing droplets on the glove.

The system includes a reed switch in the middle finger of the glove, a magnet connected to the thumb of the glove, and a lighting means. The system comprises a seat arranged on a top surface of the bowl and a toilet tank connected to the bowl. The system also comprises a wireless motion detection unit arranged adjacent to the toilet bowl, such that the operation of the vacuum pump is automatic. The wireless motion sensor may allow the vacuum pump to turn on immediately and remain on during duration of use of the toilet by the user. The vented toilet system also comprises a pipe or tube connected to the vent cavity, the pipe passes through either an existing wall or other structure to a vacuum pump and then to the outside of the structure in which the toilet is located.

The sealing member includes inner and outer frame members, one of which includes a channel and the other includes a projection complementary to the channel. Abstract: An extended safety cage provides access to a plurality of hatches on the top of a mobile container. The cage is rotatably attached to the end of a gangway, which extends from and is rotatably attached to a platform. The platform carries a pair of braces that extend out in opposite directions and support the cage through spring-loaded lifting arms. The apparatus can include actuators, such as hydraulic or pneumatic actuators, that urge the gangway and cage downward when activated. Abstract: The present invention relates to a wiper blade assembly for clearing the surface of a windshield comprising: a first blade edge, where said first edge is capable of contacting the surface of the windshield; a second blade edge, where said second edge is capable of contacting the surface of the windshield; and a scrubby surface between the first blade edge and second blade edge, where said scrubby surface is capable of contacting the surface of the windshield. The wiper blade assembly further includes a back plate that provides a means to attach the blade assembly to an arm assembly. The blade assembly of the present invention is capable of scrubbing away dirt and particle debris on a windshield.

Abstract: A fastening or mounting apparatus for releasably joining two objects is disclosed. The apparatus has a first component and a second component. The first component may include a plate, two side walls and two flanges extending from the side walls. The second component may include a plate, a first lip and a second lip. The first lip has a cavity holding a resilient element. The second lip may have a convex portion and at least partially define a detent. One of the flanges engages with the resilient element in the cavity while the two components are non-parallel. The first flange compresses the resilient element while the second flange contacts the convex portion. The resilient element biases the second flange against the detent once the two components are parallel.

Abstract: Use of a snap hook requires the capture loop to be cradled in a joint of the index finger to prevent it from rolling in the hand. Hooks having a cylindrical body roll easily, and those having an oval section capture loop roll more easily. When a hook rolls, its loop can move to a position where it blocks access to the gap, requiring it to be repositioned in the hand. Ergonomic requirements for this hook included: spacing the hand a maximal distance from the gap, stabilize it from rolling in the hand, and minimize hand movement in use. The hand does not close around the hook; it is held between the thumb and a finger, a natural configuration in which the hand retains the lie of its usual open form. Stability from rolling occurs from the contact forces being within the wide contact surfaces of the body and the button. The larger the contact forces, the more stable the hook is. By its nature, it does not roll.

The handle and the press may be movable between a nominal position and a compressing position. The press may include pivoting arms with opposing faces, each having a beveled portion, that are operable, when moved to the compressing position, to compress the pliable member and push it into the channel. An actuator, such as a collar on the handle, may operate on the press arms as the handle is moved downwardly, to move them inwardly to the compressed position.

Abstract: A device, system, and method for generating low clearance slidably mated parts. In an exemplary embodiment, the system includes a measurement device having a non-contact micrometer capable of coincidentally indicating opposing edge data, rotational and linear air bearing slides, and a holding device. The non-contact micrometer allows for measurement of a plurality of parameters of a first part including the diameter and the difference between an edge of the first part and a reference point. The coincidental measurements are used to determine the size and geometric errors associated with the first part after suitable error elimination. In an exemplary system, a processing machine may be instructed by the measurement device to remove material from a second part so that the first part and the second part when mated together have a very low clearance tolerance level, e.g., as little as 0.00005 inches or less.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide low-profile surface mount filters. One embodiment of the present invention includes a filter housing adapted to mount on a substrate block having a plurality of flow paths and a filter cavity defined therein. The filter cavity is defined to extend in a generally horizontal direction when the low-profile filter is in use. A first flow passage is defined to connect an inlet of the filter housing to a first section of the filter cavity and a second flow passage is defined to connect a second section of the filter cavity to an outlet of the filter housing. A filter assembly is disposed in the filter cavity and sealed to the surface of the filter cavity separating the filter cavity into adjacent sections including the first section of the filter cavity and second section of the filter cavity.

The coupling elements are configured so that in a first rotational position relative to the axially parallel projection the instrument can be introduced into the connection end of the nail and in a second rotational position the coupling elements cooperate so that the nail is held axially fixedly on the instrument.

Abstract: Systems and methods for personalizing prosthetic and orthotic devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of personalizing a portion of a device configured to be worn by a wearer as at least one of a prosthetic or an orthosis may include facilitating an application of a wearer-selected artwork to the portion of the device. For example, in various specific embodiments, the facilitating an application of a wearer-selected artwork to the portion of the device may include creating a portion of material having a wearer-specified personalization artwork, and providing the portion of material having the wearer-specified personalization artwork to at least one of the wearer or a third party for application onto the portion of the device. In some embodiments, the portion of material may be provided to at least one of the wearer or a third party for application when the portion of the device is being fabricated.
