Abstract: A gunfire detection and satellite positioning tracking system for a bullet-proof vest, including a detector, fitted with a GPS (Global Satellite Positioning System) tracker, located within a bullet-proof vest, the GPS tracker being provided with a GPS receiving circuit, a microprocessor and a signal transmission circuit. The detector detects circumstances regarding the bullet-proof vest being hit by bullets, and the detected information is transmitted to the microprocessor. The GPS receiving circuit receives geographic positioning satellite coordinate signals, which are then matched with an internal prestored geographic data base to obtain the position of the bullet-proof vest, which is then transmitted to the microprocessor.

Abstract: An armor carrier for retaining a plurality of armor plates. The armor carrier includes front and rear portions, a pair of shoulder straps, and a pair of side panels. The front portion comprises a pocket configured to hold an armor plate, and the rear portion comprises a pocket configured to hold an armor plate. Each shoulder strap is configured to connect the front portion to the rear portion. Each side panel includes a plurality of waist straps, each of which forms part of a connection between the front portion and the rear portion. The waist straps allow for adjustment of the side panels relative to the rear portion. The armor carrier may also include a pair of back straps, which in combination with the waist straps, allow a wearer to adjust the placement of the side panels relative to the rear portion to accommodate the build of the wearer.

Abstract: An improved baby toy is described. The toy is a bib-shaped garment that may be adapted to be worn by a carer for a baby. The garment comprises a main portion that may cover the chest of the carer and neck portions that can be wrapped around the neck of the carer and detachably fastened at the back of the neck. The garment also includes one or more toy fixing structures that are integral to the main portion and that allow toys to be attached to the garment in a way that they can subsequently be removed, if required. There may also be a reflective element on the rear face of the main portion. In addition to being worn by the carer, the garment may alternatively be worn around the waist of the baby or be attached to an object such as a table, car window or cot rail.

Abstract: An exercise suit which includes a resilient band extending through a guide pocket in a first direction along a pant leg or sleeve of the suit. The band engages a direction changing means near the end of the leg or sleeve and at least a portion of the band extends there beyond in a second direction. A free end of the band is releasably engaged with a tension adjustment mechanism provided on the exterior of the leg or sleeve a distance away from the direction changing means. The wearer adjusts the tension in the band by moving a length of the band through the direction changing means and repositioning the free end on the tension adjustment mechanism. A cover is removably disposed over the tension adjustment mechanism to prevent accidental dislodgement of the free end of the band.

The first web is stretched at least 70% in at least one direction. The stretched first web is bonded while the first web is held in the stretched state to a second web. The second web includes at least one layer of an elastic or non-elastic material, and the bonded first and second webs form an elastic composite web. The elastic composite is relaxed in the at least one direction by at least 4% of the stretched length of the stretched first web. The chassis structure is assembled from chassis components including the stretched and relaxed composite web.

Abstract: To be manufactured, formed and operated in much different and diverse fashion as compared to conventional motorsport helmets is a strong yet flexible and lightweight safety “helmet.” Comprising a “shell,” and several manually operated “components”. To be incorporated onto said shell are numerous actuating and/or fixed mechanisms with inherent safety aspects meant to increase the comfort, peripheral vision and facilitate the overall safety of the wearer. This multiplicity of independent components is also designed to protect the user's head and cranium and to reduce the violent sudden rotational forces encountered after impact. One aspect consists of a solid, continuous and unbroken “Shell.” The shell comprises a number of curves and concave segments with several other significant distinguishable design details meant to improve the overall aerodynamics of the shell. Other components include a “main external visor” and a secondary “inner visor” that actuate in multi-step processes.

By controlling a batch discharge capacity of a cleaner solution in the main body, the concentration of the cleaner solution is controlled in a desired range and the undissolved pieces of the automatic toilet bowl cleaner are retained from directly discharged, in order to eliminate unnecessary waste of the automatic toilet bowl cleaner and save water.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for improving the creation of plunging and peeling waves in a pool or body of water. The improvement is accomplished by orientating one or more wave making devices at an acute angle to one another and then placing these angled wave making devices adjacent to an array of wave making devices. The angled wave making devices are arranged and orientated such that when they generate a wave, the generated wave converges with the waves generated from the array of wave making devices. This convergence of waves constitutes a wave-wave interaction. This wave-wave interaction replicates the physical process of wave focusing and favors the creation of a plunging and peeling wave.

Abstract: A rapid elevation floor system for a pool at least partially filled with pool water, including a raisable floor for disposing over the bottom of the pool. The raisable floor is combined of a plurality of modular floor elements, at least some of which include a ballasting receptacle. The ballasting receptacle is adapted to receive and discharge a volume of a flotation fluid lighter than the pool water, enabling the pool water to occupy any part of the volume when unoccupied by the flotation fluid. When the raisable floor is disposed beneath the surface of the pool water, the amount of the flotation fluid contained in the raisable floor is adjusted to render the specific weight of the raisable floor as equal to, or as slightly greater than the specific weight of the pool water, such that pumping of the flotation fluid into the ballasting receptacle(s) urges a rapid elevation of the raisable floor.

The steam generator includes a closure for closing off the opening and water supply conduits for supplying water to the steam generator.

The sensor comprises a sheet of conductive material, and the ground comprises a second sheet of conductive material. The circuit is adapted to send short bursts of electrical current to the sensor and a capacitor. The circuit is further adapted to measure the length of time the burst of current takes to charge the capacitor. Based upon the measured time, the circuit calculates the proximity of the object based upon the time taken to charge the capacitor. A method that may be implemented with the immersion sensor is also disclosed.

Fluid is pulse flowed to the textile articles at a volume of between about 0.5 to 2 gallons (2 to 8 liters) per pound (0.45 kg) of fabric articles for a selected time interval. Washing chemicals are added to the washer extractor. Water is transmitted to the washer extractor at the rate of 0.35 to 0.6 gallons (1.33 to 2.3 liters) of water per pound (0.45 kg) of fabric articles within a selected time interval.
