Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for improving the creation of plunging and peeling waves in a pool or body of water. The improvement is accomplished by orientating one or more wave making devices at an acute angle to one another and then placing these angled wave making devices adjacent to an array of wave making devices. The angled wave making devices are arranged and orientated such that when they generate a wave, the generated wave converges with the waves generated from the array of wave making devices. This convergence of waves constitutes a wave-wave interaction. This wave-wave interaction replicates the physical process of wave focusing and favors the creation of a plunging and peeling wave.

Abstract: The mop has a hollow pole (1) the center of which has a piston (3) which is activated from the outside with a movable grip (6), so that said piston (3) may reduce the elevation of a pressure chamber (4) established in the lower area of the pole (1), which communicates directly with a push cylinder (10) with a larger diameter, which reinforces said pole at the bottom and in the center of which works a push plunger (13) which supports the head (24) the mop cloth (25), also actuating said push plunger (13) on a pair of side cams (16) which when resting adjust on the exterior to the push cylinder (12) but that in the initial downward movement phase of the plunger (13) they tilt outward locking into a perimeter tab (18) of the wringer opening (19) also part of the opening of the bucket that holds the water, so that the tendency of the pole (1) reversing during the wringing phase is eliminated by locking said pole (1) to the wringer (19) using the mentioned tab (18) of the latter.

Abstract: A roller and a cleaning device are provided. The roller may be coupled to a cleaning device for wringing liquid from a hydrophilic member of the cleaning device. The roller may include an opening defined through an outer wall of the roller and liquid wrung from the hydrophilic member may pass through the roller via the opening. The cleaning device may include a handle, a hydrophilic member coupled to the handle, and a wringer coupled to the handle for wringing liquid from the hydrophilic member. The wringer may include a hand grip and a roller coupled to the hand grip. Upon activation, the roller may move relative to the hydrophilic member and may be adapted to force liquid from the hydrophilic member upon compression of the hydrophilic member. The roller may define an opening therethrough and liquid forced from the hydrophilic member may pass through the roller via the opening.

Abstract: A damping device comprises an axle, a housing, a unidirectional member, and a damping oil. The unidirectional member in cross section is formed like a T-shape, and a top portion thereof is formed as an arc to cooperate with the housing's inner wall. Where the unidirectional member contains a U-shaped slot defines oil holes interlaced with the gap of the first slot wall. The lifting of the cover is free from damping and the closing thereof performs a well damping capability. Even only a narrow angle is lifted, a delicate damping is still achieved. The undersized unidirectional member concurrently guarantees the structural strength. The diminished cross-section of the unidirectional member contributes to a smaller U-shaped slot. Therefore, while satisfying the turning angle, the thicknesses of the U-shaped slot's wall and the obstructing wall are assured to greatly prolong the using life of the present invention.
