Abstract: An under body armor hybrid fabric garment has first and second fabric portions. The first fabric portion, configured to cover an upper torso region of a user's body left exposed by the body armor and extending into a second body transition region covered by the body armor, is formed of low stretch or no stretch fabric of woven or knit construction. The first fabric portion comprises yarns and/or fibers having flame retardant properties. The second fabric element, configured to cover a lower torso region of the user's body underneath the body armor, is formed of stretchable fabric. The second fabric portion comprises yarns and/or fibers having flame retardant properties and/or yarns and/or fibers resistant to melting and dripping when exposed to fire or high heat.

Elastic bindings along edges of the finger portions of the membrane define holes for ring, middle, and index fingers. The elastic bindings urge the first, second, and third extended finger portions against palm side surfaces of proximal and middle phalanges of ring, middle, and index fingers. A cross strap extends across the dorsal side of the hand for releasable elastic tensioning.

Abstract: A protective sports glove worn by athletes during training or for use in a combative event to protect against injury and increase performance (including but not limited to total force generation, grip strength, striking force and speed, muscular endurance, time to contraction, etc.). These gloves are engineered with a dorsal splint system and a cooperating adjustable dual strapping wrist tie system to secure the gloves to the contour of the hands, to ensure they remain tight and fixed, and to support the wrist from excessive bending. The dual strapping system with the dorsal splint system provides increased wrist/hand rigidity mirroring a tightness of hand wrap bandages for maximal bone and tendon support of the hands and wrists, and this novel tie system increases the transfer of force generation to the point of impact.

Abstract: The present invention provides a protective sports glove worn. The glove may be used by athletes during training or in a combative event requiring striking to protect against injury and increase performance, including, but not limited to, total force transference, grip strength, striking force and speed, muscular endurance, time to contraction, etc. These gloves have an adjustable dual strapping wrist tie system to secure the gloves to the contour of the hands and ensure they remain tight and fixed. The dual strapping system seeks to provide increased wrist and hand rigidity that mirrors a tightness of hand wrap bandages for maximal bone and tendon support of the hands and wrists. This system increases the transfer of force to the point of impact.

Abstract: A fingertip covering device for allowing a player of a stringed musical instrument to manipulate the stings with high dexterity while minimizing fingertip damage. The device extends from the fingertip region of the finger to about the distal interphlangeal joint region of the player's finger. The covering is made from a variable-thickness deformable polymer with a maximum thickness at the fingertip, and a minimum thickness at the sides of the finger. The maximum thickness of the covering device is chosen to substantially protect the user's fingertip region from damage caused by string-to-fingertip contact (about 1 mm), while at the same time allowing the user's fingertips to continue to sense the presence of said string. The minimum thickness of the covering device (about 0.3 mm) minimizes contact or interference with neighboring fingers and/or any similar coverings being worn by the neighboring fingers.
