The quick disconnect device is especially suitable for mounting to clothing, such as a utility belt or a ballistic vest. the quick disconnect device allows the EET to be inserted without requiring the user to directly manipulate the quick connection device, but requires the user to manipulate some sort of mechanism on the quick connect device in order to release the EET.

The plurality of marks may be printed, molded or burned in with a laser marking device. The hand wearable control apparatus facilitates flexible control of electronic devices even when a user is doing sports or other activities. Such a hand wear apparatus also provides a user with benefits of maintaining control on a moving vehicle (such as a moving bicycle) with both hands while controlling a performance or information apparatus such as a performance monitor or a GPS.

The utility glove is manufactured by placing a glove blank comprising a fabric material over a first mold part in the form of at least a portion of a hand and bringing at least one second mold part into molding engagement with the first mold part to create a cavity with the glove blank on the first mold part. The elastomeric material is then injected into the cavity to form a molded portion, wherein the elastomeric material is injected on the side of the fabric material opposite the first mold part.

Abstract: An impact-absorbing protective structure comprises one or more compressible cells. Each cell is in the form of a thin-walled plastic enclosure defining an inner, fluid-filled chamber with at least one small orifice through which fluid resistively flows. Each cell includes an initially resistive mechanism that resists collapse during an initial phase of an impact and that then yields to allow the remainder of the impact to be managed by the venting of fluid through the orifice. The initially resistive mechanism may be implemented by providing the cell with semi-vertical side walls of an appropriate thickness or by combining a resiliently collapsible ring with the cell. After the initially resistive mechanism yields to the impact, the remainder of the impact is managed by the fluid venting through the orifice. The cell properties can be readily engineered to optimize the impact-absorbing response of the cell to a wide range of impact energies.

The strap system includes first and second straps which extend from left and right end portions of the frame of the goggle. The first strap may be fed through an attachment member attached to a distal end of the second strap. To set the tension in the first and second straps, the first strap is pulled until the tension in the first and second straps has reached the desired level. This tension adjustment occurs while the goggle is on the participant's head. Once the desired tension level is reached, hooks and loops on the first strap are engaged to each other to set the tension level.

Abstract: An emergency shower system attaches to a water pipe behind a wall and a valve mounted to the pipe. A frame is mounted to the wall around the valve, and a panel connected to the frame for covering an opening in the wall. The panel has an opening, and a plate is mounted to the panel to close the panel opening. A handle is mounted to the plate. A linkage is pivotally connected to the plate and to the valve. Vertical movement of the handle and plate are translated to rotational movement by the linkage to operate the valve. The handle only moves vertically at a constant distance from the wall. An eye/face wash station may be included. The eye/face wash station includes a pull down tray with spray nozzles. The nozzles are connected to another valve which is opened by the rotation of the pull down tray.

The rack system comprises a support structure configured to span between opposite sides of the sink, a soaker receptacle provided at a first portion of the support structure and a substantially horizontal support surface provided at a second portion of the support structure. The soaker receptacle is configured to retain a liquid used for soaking at least one utensil. The support structure is configured to support the soaker receptacle such that a bottom portion of the soaker receptacle is offset from a bottom wall of the sink.

The disinfecting tablet dispenser contains a disinfecting tablet (FIG. 4), which is released into the U-bend moulding (FIG. 6: showing the tablet inside the housing moulding) by a spring loaded tension device (FIG. 9: Showing the whole device including u bend, housing, rubber spur, and indicator). The tablet is stabilised within the housing of the dispenser by twin toothed rubber seals. The sleeper can rest on its legs for use in a stand-alone state, or be mounted on a playard for use as a bedside sleeper. Abstract: A medical support pillow for facilitating tracheal intubation on obese patient comprises a base section, an upper pad, a left arm rest, and a right arm rest. The base section comprises a head section, a back section, and an indentation. The head section and the back section are connected to each other, and the indentation is positioned in between the head section and the back section. The upper pad is positioned within the head section and it can be rotated within the head section. An obese patient is able to position his or her head and neck within the head section and the indentation. Positioning of the medical support pillow allows easy ventilation and intubation on an obese patient as it effectively raises the patient's head and neck above the chest and creates the head in fully stable extension position.

This composition makes it possible to obtain a coloring with a lightening effect which is particularly resistant and visible on dark keratin fibers.
