Said composite material knife tool uses the smallest knife blade to achieve full utilization of knife tool, hereby realizing cost reduction effectively.

Abstract: Provided is a T-square including a plurality of gripping elements configured to allow the T-square to engage with a sheet of drywall to maintain the T-square at a desired location on the drywall independent of assistance from a user. The T-square additionally includes a cutting channel formed therein to guide the utility knife to ensure that the user makes a generally linear cut or score line along the drywall. The gripping elements and the cutting channel create a generally safer and more user friendly T-square compared to conventional t-squares because the T-square may be held in place by itself and the cutting channel guides the utility knife as the user cuts the drywall.

Abstract: A ruler has a first incremented surface, a second incremented surface, a first side surface, a second side surface, and a bottom surface. All the surfaces connect together forming the general structure of the ruler. The ruler also includes a keypad having a plurality of buttons. In one mode, the ruler measures points on scaled drawings and calculates a scaling factor from those two points. In another mode, the scaling factors are entered directly for use with scaled drawings. The ruler is particularly useful for distorted scaled drawings such as those that have been altered by electronic media.

The apparatus includes a fixing unit fixed to a measuring table placed on a floor and kept insulated from vibrations caused by external force, a measuring unit mounted on the fixing unit and configured so that measuring members are installed on both sides of a rectangular spacer grid and move in forward and backward directions by cylinders while grasping the both sides of the spacer grid, and measure abnormalities in the both sides of the spacer grid, and a displacement measuring unit mounted on one side of the measuring unit and sending the measured abnormalities in the both sides of the spacer grid to the outside.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for measuring outer diameters of fuel rods of a nuclear fuel assembly, in which the fuel rods are standing upright and are used in a light water reactor. The apparatus includes a support unit fixed to a floor at a lower portion thereof so as to be kept insulated from vibrations caused by external forces, a measuring unit mounted on the support unit and moving up and down to measure the outer diameters of the fuel rods, and a transducer cooperating with the measuring unit, converting the measured outer diameters of the fuel rods into electrical signals, and sending the converted signals to the outside. Thus, the apparatus moves up and down to measure the outer diameters of the fuel rods, so that it can accurately check abnormalities in the outer diameters of the fuel rods.

The dual axis joint assembly may include an eccentric mechanism that converts pivoting movement of the handle toward and away from said housing into rotational movement of said handle so that the handle turns 90° when pivotally folded against the dryer housing.

According to the invention, the device includes a means (16) for repeatedly turning the plasma source (13) on and off. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a heat pump based dryer or a combination washer and dryer device comprising a housing receiving a drum for containing associated articles to be dried by air that flows along a pathway between an outlet and an inlet of the housing. A fluid is provided in the pathway to at least partially remove moisture from the air. A heat pump includes a heat source located at least partially within the pathway and a heat sink being operatively adapted to the heat source to circulate a refrigerant therein. An enclosure at least partially containing the heat sink is arranged to accept the fluid from the pathway to exchange heat with the heat sink and return the fluid to the pathway. Fluid may be provided to the pathway by a spray nozzle adjacent the outlet or by an evaporative media downstream of a lint separator.

The self-adjusting studs may have a first portion and a second portion of different levels of compressibilities and/or retractabilities that compress and extend based on the type of surface on which the wearer is walking or running This footwear with self-adjusting studs may easily transition between surfaces of varying hardness without causing damage to the surface, but also providing the wearer with the necessary amount of traction on each type of surface. It may synchronize with other like modules for a more dynamic and broader display across multiple pieces of footwear. This allows stable binding of the module to footwear when in use and rapid attachment and removal.

Abstract: The Present invention is directed to an anti-slip, wear-resistant sports shoe sole principally composed of a sole pad and a bottom cushion layer bonded to the bottom of said sole pad. The bottom cushion layer is composed of two parts, namely a soft under-cushion running inward from the front of the sole, and a hard under-cushion positioned at the heel and front of foot areas. The triangular area in the specially inclined underside design of the sports shoe sole, made of a low-density (soft) rubber material, includes a number of point-shaped protrusions clustered together to facilitate turns and twisting motions, while helping to prevent slipping, aid precision and increase comfort. Other than the triangular area, the whole of the underside of the heel and front of foot areas are made using a solid (hard) rubber material which is effective in terms of its anti-slip, wear-resistant properties.

Abstract: A fishing pole holder mount for mounting to a watercraft or other structure that is capable of holding more than one fishing pole at the same time, wherein the fishing pole holders are horizontally and vertically repositionable relative to one another and the base of the fishing pole holder mount. The fishing pole holder mount of the present invention also allows a user to specify the number of fishing pole holders removably attached thereto.

Abstract: A quick-release weight used on a fishing line defined as having an overall specific gravity greater than one. The new invention is releasably attached without the need of tools and without the need of knotting the device into the fishing line to provide any desirable spacing between the lure or bait and weight. The device releasably attaches when fishing line is placed between its wire arm and cap, biased toward each other by a compression spring. When a fish strikes, the line can be retrieved to the quick-release weight for instant removal, allowing the remaining line and fish to be retrieved without interference. In addition, fisherman will appreciate this new invention's integration of weight and quick-release functions into a single device, eliminating the cumbersome task that require fisherman to assemble varying weight sizes to a line release to achieve desired weight combinations.

Abstract: A fishing hook-threader device is provided for facilitating easy threading of fishing line through the eye of a fishing hook. The device has a needle threader, a hook retention portion and a buoyancy element. A plurality of hooks is hung by the fishing hook eyes along the hook retention portion where the hooks may be stored prior to use. When a user is ready to use a hook, it is separated from the plurality by sliding along the hook retention portion onto an indented hook separation region just prior to the needle threader. The needle threader is a hoop wire that permits fishing line to pass through an interior space and is suitably sized to promote ease of use by users with poor dexterity or low visual acuity. A buoyancy element is further secured to the hook retention portion to prevent the device from sinking if it falls into the water.

Abstract: Embodiments of methods for making renewable diesel by deoxygenating (decarboxylating/decarbonylating/dehydrating) fatty acids to produce hydrocarbons are disclosed. Fatty acids are exposed to a catalyst selected from a) Pt and MO3 on ZrO2 (M is W, Mo, or a combination thereof), or b) Pt/Ge or Pt/Sn on carbon, and the catalyst decarboxylates at least 10% of the fatty acids. In particular embodiments, the catalyst consists essentially of 0.7 wt % Pt and 12 wt % WO3, relative to a mass of catalyst, or the catalyst consists essentially of a) 5 wt % Pt and b) 0.5 wt % Ge or 0.5 wt % Sn, relative to a mass of catalyst. Deoxygenation is performed without added hydrogen and at less than 100 psi. Disclosed embodiments of the catalysts deoxygenate at least 10% of fatty acids in a fatty acid feed, and remain capable of deoxygenating fatty acids for at least 200 minutes to more than 350 hours.

The wet form of the compound is heated within the reaction chamber such that elements of the wet form of the compound dissociate and react. One reaction product is the liquid fuel.
