The wearer of the hand guard has greater hand control when writing and drawing because the wearer is able to rest the base piece of the hand guard on the working surface.

Abstract: The present invention provides a convertible garment that has a play-wear configuration and an activity game configuration. The garment includes a garment body and can be a skirt, pants, a shirt, surgical gown or the like. A pocket is positioned on the garment body and the pocket is defined by at least one flap. The flap has a side hidden within the pocket and a garment side that is configured to complement the garment body. The flap is movable between a first position in which the pocket is defined and a second position in which a play surface is defined on at least the pocket side of the flap. Portions of the play surface can also be defined on the garment body. A toy is tethered to the garment body or the flap and is removably attachable to the play surface.

Abstract: The invention provides a hooded sweatshirt with an elongated collar for improved cold protection. The elongated collar resides within the interior of the hood of the sweatshirt and provides a close fit at the neck region.

The intermediate article includes a plate-like element; a plurality of fur tips, derived from the terminal portion of a tail; a pair of flanking fur strips, derived from longitudinal portions of the tail, and at least a portion of a hair thread; so that a sufficient density or thickness of the hair in the hats is achieved.

Abstract: A system for a full-brimmed hat capable of accommodating a headset includes a full-brimmed hat and a headset. The full-brimmed hat allows users to simultaneously wear the headset and obtain full protection from harmful sun rays while also providing shielding from the sunlight. The full-brim is designed with brim joints which are adjusted by fasteners. The brim joints open the holes on the sides of the full-brimmed hat, and the earpieces of the headset are placed in the holes. The frame of the headset rests on top of the full-brimmed hat, which accommodates both a large headset and a small headset.

Abstract: A pair of motocross pants is described, including a waist portion, a seat portion, a crotch and inner thigh portion, and two leg portions, the pants being formed by plurality of panels of material numbering less than 20. A majority of the surface area of the pants may include elastic material, and a nearly straight knee angle may be formed.

Abstract: This invention is designed to provide a martial arts practitioner a secure fit around the waist while engaged in training or competition. The practitioner enters the garment similar to pants then secures the inner drawstring generally made of a cotton or similar material. Next the practitioner secures the hook and loop system to create a vertical seal. Then the flap is secured to the inside of the pants. The belt is fastened by drawing the belt through the metal ring or similar sturdy material and secured using the hook and loop portion on the belt. Lastly, the flap is folded down to cover the belt. The flap will keep an opponent from using the belt to their advantage in a match as well as provide a level of safety so appendages do not get tangled in the system.

The rim curve is also concave toward the user. The rim is attached at a negative rearward and medial angel, the elastic is covered in fabric. The rim seam is on the partition posterior surface. The partition posterior surface is concave front-to-back, while perpendicularly convex. The side edges of the partition are convex towards each other. The bottom edge is attached at the rear base of the garment.

Abstract: An apparatus for aiding an athlete with heading a ball while protecting the head of the user participating in an athletic activity and in particular soccer players. Designed to resemble the surface of a player's head in structure and smoothness so as not to affect the trajectory of the ball during a header while at the same time absorbing the force from the impact to prevent or minimize concussions in players, especially younger athletes. This present invention is designed with the intention to overcome the rigid guidelines of youth soccer leagues and organizations, and be approved for use in games. Its design does not provide an advantage or disadvantage to the user as it is constructed to replicate a player's unaided head. The objective is that it feels like “second skin” so it will not affect the quality of movement or play.

Abstract: Provided is a helmet suspension system which is configured to mitigate rapid movements, i.e., acceleration and deceleration, of a user's head. The helmet suspension system connects to a base and a helmet worn by a wearer and allows for slow, safe movements of the helmet relative to the base, but restricts rapid and generally unsafe movements of the helmet relative to the base.

The inflatable fall arrest and fall protection safety system can be used for work that is performed at dangerous heights, for example pipe rack or scaffolding construction, as well as to protect people who are prone to falling, or any situation in which protection from falling could be desired.

Abstract: An emergency eyewash unit includes a pair of water discharge ports oriented to produce a pair of upwardly directed, diverging water streams for inside-out flush flow of contaminants from a person's eyes. These eyewash streams can be combined with a plurality of smaller upwardly directed facewash streams for flushing contaminants from a person's face. The eyewash and/or facewash streams are produced by an eyewash body adapted for rotatable mounting onto a water supply conduit, with a locking clip normally preventing undesired rotational disassembly. The eyewash body may be used in combination with an overhead emergency shower which, in one preferred form, includes a shower spray head carrying multiple flow control and flow shaper elements to produce a substantially uniformly dispersed shower spray pattern.

Abstract: An emergency eyewash unit includes a pair of water discharge ports oriented to produce a pair of upwardly directed, diverging water streams for inside-out flush flow of contaminants from a person's eyes. These eyewash streams can be combined with a plurality of smaller upwardly directed facewash streams for flushing contaminants from a person's face. The eyewash and/or facewash streams are produced by an eyewash body adapted for rotatable mounting onto a water supply conduit, with a locking clip normally preventing undesired rotational disassembly. The mattress may also be inflated or deflated in response to manual extension or retraction of the deck extension.

The padded member has a generally right triangular shape, and is made of resilient materials. The hypotenuse surface of the padded member is undulating ergonomically. The hard block is made of a non-resilient material, and is able to tolerate, without rupturing, the gravity force on a mass of an adult's body with a shape and size similar to those of the adult's buttocks. The hard block is inserted completely inside the right angle area of the padded member. The height of the front side of the hard block is greater than the distance from the lowest point of the sitter's coccyx to the lowest point of his tuberosity of ischium. Both the padded member and the hard block have a flat bottom side to ensure stability.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of washing textile articles that can be carried out, for example, in a continuous batch tunnel washer. Embodiments of the present method can include treating the textile with an aqueous composition including cleaning agent and halogen-containing bleaching agent for a time sufficient to remove soil from the textile and contacting the halogen-treated textile with an aqueous composition including a peroxycarboxylic acid. The concentration of halogen after the sufficient time can be at a level that does not result in adverse interaction between the halogen-containing bleaching agent and the peroxycarboxylic acid. Embodiments of the present method can clean textiles with the results of more effective stain removal and less waste through destruction of the textile article. Further, the present invention can clean a textile contacted soiled by a composition including chlorhexidine gluconate without resulting staining of the textile, which staining could have been permanent.

The automated cleaning assembly comprises a grasp portion and a driven gear. The grasp portion has a driving portion disposed inside the grasp portion. The driving portion has an unidirectional gear engaging to a sawtooth bar, in which the sawtooth bar connects to a press bar and the bottom side of the press bar connecting to the lower edge of the grasp portion. The sawtooth bar has a space to contain a spring so that the spring pushes a pole of the grasp portion, wherein the spring pushes the sawtooth bar to return by the driven force of the press bar. In this manner, a brush can be rotated by the automated cleaning assembly without battery or power supply.

The cartridge (2) includes an encapsulated viscose rayon microfiber panel (20) backed by a moisture-impermeable layer (30), and held captive in a plastic frame (10). The frame (10) includes a raised wiping lip (114) surrounding the panel (20). In use, the player need only swipe one foot over the top of the cleaning and drying device (1) attached to the other foot, brushing the sole. One swipe wets and squeegees dry, and the process is repeated for the other foot.

Abstract: A flexible fabric is provided for converting a broom into a mop. The flexible fabric has a center hole and a periphery region sufficiently large to cover the bristles of a broom. The center hole is sized so as to receive a traditional broom handle, but the center hole is sufficiently small so that it will not allow passage of the broom bristles. In use, the broom handle is projected through the flexible fabric's center hole and the fabric's edge is positioned downwardly so as to extend beyond the ends of the broom bristles so that the fabric's periphery region covers the broom bristles. Preferably, the flexible fabric is provided in a prepackaged format having a plurality of flexible fabrics which are saturated with a cleansing solution. Thus, the broom and fabric combination provide a mop construction which can be used for cleaning surfaces.
