Publication number: 20140137548Abstract: Construction machinery that can achieve a great fuel reduction effect through an efficient use of recovered energy is provided. The Construction machinery includes at least two actuators 7 and 8, a main pump 3 that generates hydraulic energy for driving the actuators 7 and 8, flow control means 4 disposed between the main pump 3 and the actuators 7 and 8, an additional energy generating means 11 that generates energy to be added to the hydraulic energy, and a control means 20 that reduces hydraulic energy generated by the main pump 3 when the additional energy generating means 11 generates energy. The construction machinery further comprises changeover means 12d, 12e, and 12f that selectively change a location at which the energy from the additional energy generating means 11 is to be added according to the actuators 7 and 8. The control means 20 changes a reduction rate of the hydraulic energy generated by the main pump 3 depending on a specific actuator 7 or 8 to which the energy is to be added.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2012Publication date: May 22, 2014Inventors: Shinji Nishikawa, Seiji Hijikata, Kouji Ishikawa, Shinya Imura, Takako Satake, Takatoshi Ooki

Publication number: 20140137550Abstract: A master brake cylinder arrangement includes at least one piston arrangement with a piston movably guided in a receiving bore in a master brake cylinder housing. The piston together with the receiving bore, delimits a pressure chamber which is in fluid connection with a hydraulic brake circuit and may be moved along a movement axis between an initial position and an actuation position. A position detecting device detects movement of the piston caused by actuation is provided within the receiving bore. The position detecting device has a sensor element, which is movable as a function of a piston movement, and a position detecting sensor, which is arranged fixed on the master brake cylinder housing. The sensor element is received and guided in the master brake cylinder housing independently of the piston and is capable of interacting with the piston for deflection as a function of the piston movement.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2013Publication date: May 22, 2014Applicant: LUCAS AUTOMOTIVE GMBHInventors: Hans-Martin Giese, Torsten Petry, David Lopez-Larequi

Publication number: 20140137551Abstract: The safety apparatus for a brake of a vehicle includes a first line and a second line. The first line includes an exhaust manifold, an engine, an intake manifold, a check valve, a vacuum hose, a vacuum switch, a booster, a check valve, a vacuum hose, a negative connection portion, a vacuum switch and a brake booster, and the second line includes a vacuum hose, a check valve, a booster, a check value, a vacuum hose and a vacuum pump, which are connected to the negative connection portion. The apparatus can isolate a supply of electric power to a fuel motor to stop starting of the engine when the brake booster lacks a vacuum because of a deterioration of a performance of an auxiliary vacuum pump, and enable the brake to normally operate so as to prevent an accident even though a sudden acceleration occurs or the engine suddenly stops.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2013Publication date: May 22, 2014Applicant: HANJUNG CO., LTDInventor: PIL-SOO KANG

Publication number: 20140137552Abstract: Provided is a control device for an internal combustion engine, which improves acceleration performance while maintaining fuel performance in a non-supercharging operation range. A bypass passage (33) which bypasses a turbine (32c, 32d) of a supercharger is provided. In the bypass passage (33), a wastegate valve (33a) for adjusting a flow-path area of the bypass passage (33) by a wastegate actuator (33b) is provided. For an operation in the non-supercharging operation range, an opening degree of the wastegate valve (33a) is set to fully close the wastegate valve (33a) when a ratio of a pressure (Pb) of an intake manifold (22) and an atmospheric pressure (P1) is smaller than a threshold value.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2013Publication date: May 22, 2014Inventors: Michihisa YOKONO, Tomokazu MAKINO, Takahiko ONO

Publication number: 20140137553Abstract: Embodiments for vacuum generation are provided. In one example, a method for an engine including a turbocharger having a compressor driven by a turbine comprises generating vacuum via exhaust flow through an ejector, and applying vacuum from the ejector to a wastegate actuator. In this way, vacuum produced via high-pressure exhaust resulting from boosted engine operation may be used to actuate the wastegate valve.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2012Publication date: May 22, 2014Applicant: FORD GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventors: Joseph Norman Ulrey, Ross Dykstra Pursifull
