Abstract: A rolling mode washing method of a washing and rinsing cycle is disclosed. The method uses at least three pulsators slantedly positioned within a washing tub. The pulsators are positioned with respect to one another such that each pulsator is adjacent to two different pulsators. The washing tub is filled with water and materials to be cleaned are placed within the washing tub. A pair of adjacent pulsators are rotated in opposite directions with respect to one another. The pair of rotating pulsators lifts the materials to be cleaned. A second pair of adjacent pulsators are rotated in the same direction with respect to one another. The second pair of rotating pulsators creates a force to push the materials to be cleaned.

Either or both of a pigmented coating layer or an optional clear coating layer on the pigmented coating layer comprises a member selected from the group consisting of polyurethanes, polyureas, polyamides, and combinations thereof, which can be dyed by the anionic or nonionic disperse dye.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for coloring an article includes fastening an article to a container which at least partially encloses the article. The article fastens to the container in a fixed position. A portion of the container is inserted into a liquid by an actuator. The liquid enters the container through an open end. An air pocket is created in the container when it is inserted into the liquid. A first portion of the article is contained within the air pocket and a second portion of the article is dipped into the liquid and thereby is colored from a dye in the liquid. The actuator also removes the container and the article from the liquid. The process can be repeated with the article in an inverted position and with another liquid to color another portion of the article a second color.

Abstract: A data transferring powered toothbrush is provided for use during oral health care activities carried out daily by a user. A powered toothbrush is provided including an orientation sensor that provides data relating toothbrush usage to various positions within the oral cavity. Further, the toothbrush comprises a data extractor that provides a means for transferring the data from the toothbrush to an external medium for viewing and manipulation. Further still, the powered toothbrush is comprised in a system including a data transfer medium (i.e. “smartphone”) and the Cloud, which allows for data transfer between multiple external mediums from the powered toothbrush. The system further allows for passive participation in social games with awards and incentives. The system and powered toothbrush further provide for active participation in brushing games to encourage proper brushing techniques.

Abstract: A suction cleaning apparatus or suction cleaning horn is a generally cylindrical barrel or sleeve with an insertion cone to control and direct the distal tip of a suction tool into the bore of the barrel. A stylet is secured within the suction cleaning barrel and aligned on the longitudinal axis of the bore such that insertion of the suction tool into the cleaning barrel inserts the stylet into the channel of the suction tool to mechanically clear any obstructions of the suction tool. The distal end of the suction cleaning horn may also include one or more holes or vents to permit cleaning liquid to be drawn into the bore of the cleaning horn and into the suction tool channel to help clear obstructions in the suction tool.

In another embodiment, a method of making a twisted wire brush comprises providing at least two core wires, positioning a length of spring coil about each core wire, aligning each length of spring coil, and twisting each core wire about a core axis. In yet another embodiment, a grill brush comprises a handle, a plurality of twisted core wires attached to the handle, and at least one length of spring coil, each length extending about at least one core wire.

Abstract: Highly efficient particulate collectors, such as for dust and street debris collected by a mobile street cleaning vehicle, with very low pressure loss are disclosed. One embodiment uses a specially contoured passage to separate the solid particles from particulate-laden gas stream by rapid directional change at a throat region. By using the Venturi effect at the accelerating zone communicating with a gas return channel from the particulate retaining chamber, a small amount of the gas will be recirculated from the deposit zone to help move and retain the separated particles in a confined collection receptacle.

In addition, the panel hardware system can comprise an adjustable spacer operable with the track, the wheel, and/or the hanger to provide a distance between the panel and the support structure as the panel moves relative to the support structure. The spacer can facilitate variable spacing configurations to accommodate a variety of panel dimensions or support structure configurations.

Instead of a neighboring clip, a tag or label with a mating pocket or tab can be mate-ably attached to the clip. The magnetic coupler has insert latches engaging and locking the insert in the quick connect receiver. The insert latches are releasable to allow the insert to be removed from the quick connect receiver.

Abstract: A device for securing an article of clothing to a desired length or position and a method for using the device are described. The device is comprised of a first member and a second member pivotally coupled together on corresponding ends thereof and a closure means attached at the opposing ends of the first and second members. The device can be used to secure an article of clothing by disengaging the closure means to open the device, sliding the second member of the opened device beneath the article of clothing to be secured, and engaging the closure means to close the device over the article of clothing.

A hub of the clip can be inserted into an insertion hole formed in an undercover. In each elastic flap, a basal part is supported in a cantilever manner, and a free end part elastically deforms around the basal part which forms a fulcrum so as to approach or separate from an outer periphery. Each elastic flap spreads out from the basal part toward the free end part so as to increase in width in a circumferential direction. The clip is attached to the undercover such that axial movement and circumferential movement of the clip are locked.

Abstract: A fastener operable to fasten to a strap having a tensioned segment and a loose segment comprises a planar profile having at least two sides defining an elongated wrap section configured for having the loose segment of the strap wrapped around it, and at least one slot configured to clip onto the tensioned segment of the strap, and retain the loose segment of the strap wrapped around the elongated wrap section against the tensioned segment of the strap.

Abstract: The sealing acrylic urn vault of the invention includes a generally square sheet of ?? cast acrylic serving as the base and a generally square top portion which will have four adjacent side walls bonded to its edges and protruding downward. Each opposing side wall will be bonded length-wise to each adjoining side, creating a seamless cast acrylic box, open at the bottom, that lowers onto the acrylic base. Attached to the base are four 0.625? tall ?? thick acrylic guide rails, bonded equidistant from the outside base edge on all four sides of the base. This “railing system” is the fastening guide for the acrylic top portion which lowers onto the base with the inside of the four side walls bonded with the outside edges of the four guide rails.

The piezoelectric resonator includes a metal case and at least a pair of lead terminals extracted from the metal case. The lead terminal includes a first part, a second part, and a third part. The method includes: applying solder cream at a case region and a lead region of a surface of the substrate, the case region corresponding to the metal case, the lead region corresponding to the third part; placing a block solder with a smaller area than an area of the case region at the case region; arranging the metal case of the piezoelectric resonator to the case region, arranging the third part to the lead region; and heating the substrate and the piezoelectric resonator in a reflow furnace.

Thereby, the bearing may not contact the threaded rod so that the bearing and the threaded rod are not abraded. Also, the hub is prevented from shaken so that the bearing is easier to be positioned.

The substantially disk-shaped component is carried at a fixed, predetermined angle, relative to a radius of a rotating wheel carrying the component, permitting the smooth placement and depositing of the substantially cylindrical component within the substantially cylindrical component. The substantially disk-shaped component may comprise a piston and the substantially cylindrical component may comprise a body of a bottom filled airless container undergoing assembly following the placement of a substance to be dispensed within the body.

Abstract: Methods for assembling fiberglass reinforced plastic sucker rods include transporting fiberglass reinforced plastic sucker rod sections from an off-site location to an assembly facility at or near a point of use, and providing a sufficient number of metallic end fittings to connect respective ends of the plurality of sucker rod sections in series at the assembly facility. Systems for assembly of sucker rods from sucker rod sections transported from off-site location to or near a point of use are also described.

Abstract: A system and method for the rapid exchange of batteries in an electric vehicle. The electric vehicle contains a removable battery housed in the vehicle's undercarriage. The electric vehicle moves through the exchange system either by propelling itself or by being propelled by the system. As the vehicle is propelled forward, the removable battery within the vehicle is unlocked from the vehicle and replaced with a charged battery. The charged battery forces the removable battery out of the rear of the vehicle as the vehicle moves forward through the exchange. The vehicle remains powered throughout the exchange process. Once the charged battery is aligned in position under the vehicle and connected to the vehicle through corresponding contacts, the charged battery is located into place in the vehicle's undercarriage and the vehicle is ready for additional driving.

Abstract: A work machine comprises an operator station, a filter door, and a fresh air filter to filter fresh air that flows from outside the operator station into the operator station. The fresh air filter is mounted to the filter door for movement therewith relative to the operator station. An associated method is disclosed.
