Abstract: An ergonomic facemask for a headpiece, including a wire cage having a plurality of horizontal wires and a plurality of vertical wires. The plurality of horizontal wires includes a horizontal wire configured to extend forward of a user's face at a height between the user's nose and the user's upper lip, and the plurality of vertical wires includes a center vertical wire that extends along the sagittal line of a user's face. The mutual arrangement of the center vertical wire together with the horizontal wire adequately shields a user's face while avoiding interference with the user's field of view.

Abstract: A method and product suited to keep track of swimming meet events, heats and lanes. There is a swimming/bathing cap whose inside facing surface is imprinted or stamped with indicia in the form of swimming competition words or abbreviations of such words, namely, “meet, event, heat, lane” with a sufficient space to the right of each indicia for the cap wearer to write in information pertaining to the indicia. The information may be the name of the swimming meet, name of the event, heat number and lane number. Other items of the kit may be an ink body marker and a remover of the mark left by the ink body marker. All may be sealed in a common package. The ink of the ink body marker is resistant to erasure from water submersion.

Abstract: A garment is presently disclosed. The garment contains a rear panel, and a crotch panel coupled with the rear panel defining a condom coupling member, wherein the rear panel and the crotch panel form a first leg opening and a second leg opening, wherein the condom coupling member is configured to couple a condom with the crotch panel, wherein the crotch panel comprises material configured to prevent STDs that are transmitted through skin-to-skin contact from passing through the crotch panel.

Abstract: An article of wear in the form of a fabric garment has openings to allow limbs of a wearer, such as an infant, to pass through. The article of wear includes a plurality of snap fasteners installed in series onto the fabric along opposite sides of at least one opening of the garment. Each of the series of snap fasteners is defined by a matching pair of snap fastener parts in the form of stud and socket portions with attaching units. At least pairs of matching snap fasteners that are adjacent to one another have different unique tactile indicators associated therewith such that each pair of stud and socket portions, with respective attaching units, has a unique tactile surface associated therewith, thereby reducing a possibility that a user might mismatch any given stud or socket pair.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are reversible compression garments. In some embodiments, the garments are two-layer, reversible compression garments. In some embodiments, the garments are inside-out reversible, forward/backward reversible, or a combination thereof. The reversible compression garment can be, for instance, a mid-thigh pant or a tank top. Also disclosed herein are methods of assembling and using the reversible compression garments disclosed herein.

Abstract: An outer garment is disclosed that keeps users warm at sporting events or other outdoor events. The outer garment comprises a main garment body having a length sufficient to extend down and substantially cover a torso of a user; an opening at the top of the main garment body for a user's head; and a continuous opening at both opposing side edges for receiving the arms of the user. Furthermore, the outer garment besides being worn by a user, can also be used as a blanket or throw. Typically, the main garment body is comprised of a front layer and a back layer that are tied together without sewing. The main garment body further comprises a hood removably secured to the opening. Additionally, the continuous opening at each opposing side edge is oversized, such that a user can wear the outer garment over long-sleeved clothing without restricting movement.

Abstract: A garment for regulating temperature is provided, including a body having a back panel and at least one front panel made of a temperature insulating textile and partially joined along at least one common edge, the joined panels defining an inside chamber. At least one pocket having a top, bottom and side edges, is fastened to an inner surface of at least one of the front panel and the back panel on at least one side of the at least one pocket. The at least one pocket has at least one side opening.

Abstract: One aspect of the invention may be characterized as a shirt configured to counteract detrimental upper body movement. The shirt has a base layer, a plurality of inelastic bands, and a load distribution portion. The plurality of inelastic bands are coupled to the base layer, and include a first cross-connecting band, a second cross-connecting band, a third cross-connecting band, and a fourth cross-connecting band. The load distribution portion is also coupled to the base layer, and anchors ends of the first, second, third, and fourth cross-connecting bands. Further, the first, second, third, and fourth cross-connecting bands and the load distribution portion are configured to limit internal rotation and anterior tilting of the scapula when the shirt is worn by a user.

The sheet of fabric material may have an upper fold line, a lower fold line, and a plurality of edges. At least two labels may be attached along at least two edges of the sheet of fabric material. A plurality of fasteners may be attached to the at least two labels. A binding may surround the plurality of edges of the sheet of fabric material. The at least two labels may be secured between the binding and the sheet of fabric material.

Abstract: An article of clothing for babies and toddlers includes an opening in the back to permit a parent or caregiver to check for a soiled diaper without undressing the child. The article of clothing can be a one-piece apparel (onesie), sleeper, romper, bodysuit, or the like. The opening is provided in the back of the article of clothing, just above the diaper line. An extension from a portion of the garment above the opening can extend down into the opening to prevent direct exposure of the child's skin.

Abstract: A hood apparatus has structure to be removably engagable to a jacket and further structure to help eliminate reduced user peripheral vision from the hood via the user turning their head side to side. The structure of the hood is to create a slackened removable engagement between the hood and the jacket. Further structure of the hood is to provide multiple axes of adjustability for the hood to form around a user's head in effect causing the hood move in lockstep to the user's side to side head movement. These multiple axes of adjustability include a circumferential elastic drawstring positioned about the user's face periphery and an added independent lateral elastic drawstring that is partially parallel to the circumferential elastic drawstring for about an upper one-third of the user's face periphery wherein the lateral elastic drawstring is routed laterally toward the rear of the hood.

Abstract: A clothing with charcoal system includes a clothing garment assembly having an inner layer, an outer layer, a middle layer, and charcoal. The garment and the charcoal in combination form the clothing garment assembly. The inner layer, the outer layer, and the middle layer in combination form a garment for wear. The charcoal may be contained and interspersed in the middle layer, the middle layer located between the inner layer and the outer layer. Further, the middle layer is self-contained and is able to be removed to be replaced. The charcoal is directly sewn into the middle layer and absorbs odor. The inner layer is located adjacent a body of a wearer when the garment is worn. The charcoal is in relative proximity of the wearer when the garment is worn, the charcoal thereby able to suppress odor and sweat emitting from body of the wearer, and to limit bacteria and fungi.

Abstract: A helmet device with retractable visor conceals a retractable visor within a safety helmet wherein the visor is extendable when necessary to protect a wearer against wind and rain. The device includes a rigid shell configured to cover a human head. The shell has a top portion, an open bottom portion, and a pair of sides extending between the top portion and the open bottom portion. A gap is formed between the sides and the top portion of the shell. A visor is retractable into the shell and is selectively positionable between an extended position and a storage position wherein the visor exposes the gap in the storage position and covers the gap in the extended position. A tab is coupled to the visor and extends outwardly from a bottom edge of the visor wherein the tab is configured to prevent the visor from extending fully into the shell.

Abstract: A tactical helmet system for covering at least a portion of a head of a user is provided. The tactical helmet system comprises a helmet having a first side and a second side and a facemask releasably securable to the helmet. An adjustment strap having a first end and a second end is provided with both the first end and the second end secured to the facemask. The adjustment strap is extendable about the head of the user and adjustable for a snug fit against the head of the user.

Abstract: Modular, anti-fog goggle system comprising: lens with an anti-fog heating element and electrical contact, a semi-rigid anterior body comprising an inner peripheral engagement receptacle for receiving the lens within the body, the lens being releasably retained by a removable lens retaining member preferably comprising a tongue releasably interconnected with a groove in the body, the anti-fog element on the lens being releasably connected with a battery preferably retained within the body, the releasable electrical connection being reinforced by the tongue and groove interconnection, a flexible posterior interface being adapted for interposition between the removable lens retaining member and a user's face, and strap means adapted for holding the goggle on the user's head or helmet and reinforcing the interconnection between the removable lens retaining member and the body.

The apparatus for controlling overflows may comprise an interior bowl including a waste receptacle and one or more water outlets connected to a water tank. The one or more water outlets may be configured to flush the interior bowl through a primary drain. Additionally, the apparatus for controlling overflows may include an exterior bowl, which may surround the interior bowl. The exterior bowl and the interior bowl may be separated by a gap. The gap may be configured to capture overflow water from the interior bowl when the primary drain malfunctions. Once the overflow water is captured by the gap, it may then be emptied into one or more containers configured to collect the overflow water.

Abstract: Swimming pool safety coping element and method of manufacture thereof The present invention relates to coping elements, in particular to coping elements used around the edge of a swimming pool. A swimming pool safety coping element (10) comprises an outer layer portion (12) and an infill portion (14), the outer layer portion at least partly bounding the infill portion. The coping element is manufactured by forming the outer layer portion from a Low Surface Energy material. A pressure sensitive adhesive (16) is then applied across a first surface of the outer layer portion. In a further step, a flowable polymer composition is poured onto the first surface of the outer layer, and allowed to set, to provide the infill portion.

Abstract: A combination for plumbing fixtures, particularly tiled floors with drains, is disclosed along with a method for building a tile floor using the combination. An exemplary combination includes a substantially planar shower tray bonding disk on a flooring substrate and surrounded by a prefabricated polymer foam shower tray on the flooring substrate and at the circumference of the bonding disk. The disk includes an interior rim that defines a drain opening and a plurality of slotted openings for permitting mortar to penetrate the disk. The drain opening in the disk can thus be positioned at a drain cut out in the flooring substrate.

Abstract: A table assembly for a patient transfer device has an upper table with side plates that are differentially extended at the ends, and valve control for pneumatic tubing integrated with retraction of the side plates. During patient delivery only the delivery side plate is raised, to avoid catching linens in the nip formed between upper and lower belts. A slide assembly supporting the table assembly includes a fixed plate, an intermediate plate, and a full-motion plate which extend by means of rack-and-pinion drives. Each plate is symmetrical, and pinions are symmetrically located on opposite sides of the fixed or intermediate plate to allow hyperextension to either the left or right. Improved steerage for the device is provided by two centerline wheels which counter-rotate from a straight position to a turning position and further to a lateral position wherein the wheels are orthogonal to the longitudinal centerline of the device.

A pair of spaced apart elongated rollers is operatively connected to opposite sides of the sheet. A second frame coupled to the first frame includes a first section secured to the first frame, a second section pivotably coupled to the first section towards the head end of the first frame, and a third section pivotably coupled to the first section towards the foot end of the first frame. The first and third actuators are coupled to the second and third sections, respectively, for articulating the second and third sections, respectively. First and second leg assemblies are coupled to the second and fourth actuators, respectively, for selectively raising and lowering the first frame.

Abstract: A pillow comprises a resilient median portion, two resilient lateral portions and sound deafening earmuffs. The median portion is adapted to receive a back of a person's head. The two lateral portions are attached to an opposite side of the median portion. The earmuffs comprise two sound deafening ear coverings and a flexible band connecting the two sound deafening ear coverings. Each one of the two lateral portion have a cavity to accommodate the sound deafening ear coverings. In use, the flexible band is operative to bias the two sound deafening ear coverings over two ears of the person.

Abstract: A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.

Abstract: An adjustable pillow comprises several stacked layers of synthetic foam cut to approximately the same dimension and perimeter and may be enclosed within a fabric cover. The top layer includes a cutout extending inward from one edge of the layer for approximately four to six inches to provide a relieved volume for a user's ear when laying on his or her side to improve comfort without impairing hearing or while the user is wearing eyeglasses.

Abstract: The present invention describes an inflatable device, illustrated as an inflatable bed, which is designed to minimize damage to the bed as a result of under or over inflation. The inflatable bed comprises an inflatable mattress which includes an inflation indicator. The inflatable mattress includes a pop-up valve indicator assembly comprising an indicator pin, a compressible and extendable member such as a spring, and a barrier member such as diaphragm, all housed within the interior of the inflation indicator. The indicator pin further contains indicia to provide visualization as to the amount of air inflated within the inflatable mattress. The indicia provides for a quick and easy mechanism to determine inflation levels.

Abstract: This invention relates to a pressure relieving mattress including an elongate support 11 having a base 12, a pressure relieving overlay 15 and an inflatable inlay 16. The inlay 16 has a plurality of laterally extending inflatable cells 23. At least some of the cells, in at least their un-inflated state, have an inflatable volume which is wider adjacent its ends than its mid portion. This reduces the likelihood of gaps appearing between the pressure overlay and the walls of the tray.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include cushioning assemblies with thermoplastic elements encapsulated in thermoset providing customizable support and airflow. A cushioning assembly for a cushion provides cushioning and support for a user. Thermoplastic elements are encapsulated within a thermoset matrix to provide additional support at specific sections of the cushion. The shape and location of the thermoplastic elements may be configured to provide the support and cushioning characteristics desired by a user. The thermoplastic elements may include air passageways in communication with the outside. In this manner, support is provided precisely where needed for the user, the weight and expense of the cushion is reduced by eliminating expensive redundant support, and the heat and humidity that can cause user discomfort is reduced.

The inner tub, whose inner wall is arranged with lifting ribs protruding inward, rotates under the driving power of a driving device. Inside the washing machine, there is an air circulation channel, wherein, a fan is arranged. Both ends of the air circulation channel communicate to the inner tub. A discharge hole for recycling the particles and a feeding hole for putting in the particles are arranged at the front end of the inner tub. When the washing process comes to an end, both the clothes and particles can be dewatered and dehydrated simultaneously, so the washing procedures get simplified. Besides, blowing air towards the inner tub to separate and recycle the particles is conducive to 100% recycling of the particles.

Abstract: Described in this application is a kit for adapting a paint brush having a handle opening. The kit includes a tool for improving the usefulness of the paint brush; a bushing receivable within the handle opening of the paint brush; a screw for passing through the tool and bushing and joining the tool to the paint brush; and a locking nut for securing the screw to the paint brush.

A method for manufacturing a terry towel is also provided in which the towel has a weight of less than 240 gsm using a combination of open structured 100% cotton pile yarn of finer counts with ground and weft yarns that have a proportion of synthetic fiber of from 10% to 100%; comprising: weaving a striped pattern of 100% of pile yarn on one side alternated with 100% of pile yarn on other side to create double density loop stripes, the stripes having width in the range of 2 mm to 25 mm.

Abstract: A mopping device includes a mopping portion, a fluid release device for releasing fluid to at least one of a surface to be mopped and the mopping portion, a handle configured to be gripped by a user to control the mopping portion, and a reservoir for storing fluid. The reservoir can include an expandable bladder. The reservoir also can be configured such that air need not be evacuated from the reservoir during tilling of the reservoir. The mopping device also can be part of a mopping system, in which a refill reservoir is provided to refill the reservoir of the mopping device.
