Abstract: A ventilated hockey sock constructed out of a high-performance, moisture-wicking, cut-resistant woven or knitted fabric which has either two-way or four-way stretching properties depending upon desired usage, odor resistance, and has a double-layering of cut-resistant fabric in areas prone to abrasions and lacerations.

Abstract: A hand wrap includes a knuckle cover sheet, and an elongate wrap body that is adapted to be wrapped around a hand and a wrist of a user. An attachment strap connects the knuckle cover sheet with a proximal end of the elongate wrap body. A fastening mechanism fastens a distal end of the elongate wrap body to itself to secure the hand wrap in place around the hand and wrist of the user while in use. The invention further includes a method of use of the hand wrap to wrap the hand and the wrist of the user.

Abstract: A thermal protector is provided for reducing the risk of burns associated with the handling of hot objects. The device has an elongated body with a pair of mitt style hand pockets disposed at opposing ends. The mitts protect a wearer's hands while the elongated body acts as a barrier between a hot object and the skin of a wearer's forearms. Disposed within the hand-shaped pockets are multi-chambered hidden pockets. These pockets have lengthwise chambers adapted to hold pens, kitchen utensils, and the like. When the device is not in use, it may be folded in half and hung by a handle. In the stowed position, the multi-chambered pockets are upright, enabling insertion and retention of objects.

Abstract: An adjustable collar stay having a base member and an extension member slidably engaged with the base member. The extension member can be adapted to extend from the base member by a predetermined length for matching a length of a collar into which the adjustable collar stay is inserted. The base member includes a plurality of first dimples on a top surface thereof. The extension member includes a plurality of second dimples on a bottom surface thereof. Alternatively the extension member includes a plurality of openings. When the extension member is slidably positioned to adjust the length of the adjustable collar stay to a predetermined length, the second dimples are positioned within spaces between the first dimples or the openings receive the first dimples for retaining the adjustable collar stay at the predetermined length. The extension member can be formed of flexible expandable mesh.

Abstract: A cellphone grip assembly for assisting a user in securely holding a mobile phone is shown comprising a mobile case and a handling glove which each include a corresponding engaging portion which is configured to allow the mobile case to be removably and rotatably attached to a handling glove. When the mobile case and the handling glove are attached through an interlock of the engaging portions, the mobile case is can be rotated 360 degrees about the pivot created by the interlock formed by the engaging portions of the mobile case and the handling glove in response to manual force in a desired direction. Once in the desired position, the mobile case resists inadvertent movement due to a ratchet like mechanism in the engaging mechanism.

Abstract: A hooded scarf garment is provided. The present invention comprises a hood and a plurality of scarf members that are attached by a neck portion that covers the user's neck and upper shoulder areas. The scarf members are elongated portions that are composed of insulating material and that cover the user's chest. A retractable brim, which is attached to the interior of the hood, may be shifted between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. The brim provides relief to the user's eyes from glare from the sun or provides a further means protecting the user's face from inclement weather. The present invention furthermore has a plurality of pockets disposed on scarf members.

Abstract: A compact shade held over the head during inclement weather or to shield the sun. The shade has a simple circular or elongated loop of a thin strip of spring-like material covered by a sheet of one or more layers of soft, lightweight material. The shape of the elongated loop may vary from a generally rectangular shape with slightly rounded corners to an oval or generally elliptical shape. One or both of the major surfaces of the material are adapted to reflect water, snow, or radiation from the sun. The single elongated fabric-covered loop of the head shade can easily be twisted into a figure-8 configuration and fold into itself with two quick hand motions. The shade is made of soft, lightweight flexible material having two handles on the underside. It can be held together in its compact state with either a retaining member or separate pouch.

This device eliminates the problem of one's hosiery being visible, when the wearer does not want the hosiery to be visible. It eliminates the problem of one's hosiery failing to stay in place and it eliminates the problem of one's hosiery bunching up upon the hosiery's failing to stay in place, as well as the resulting discomfort caused to the wearer. In addition to the above listed problems that are solved by the instant invention, this new hosiery device also eliminates the wearer's need to constantly re-adjust the hosiery upon its not staying in place. This hosiery device also eliminates and solves many other problems that result from utilizing currently available options.

Abstract: The present invention is a magnetic segmented sport equipment for reducing the impact force on sport equipment using deployable segments. The magnetic segmented sport equipment has a body defining a recess, and a panel movable within the recess. The body and the recess each have magnetic elements associated therewith, with similar pole orientation. The panel has magnetic elements that are aligned with the magnetic elements of in the recess. A biasing element is located in the recess which provides a spring force against the panel. The panel is retained in the recess by an attraction force between the panel magnetic elements and the recess magnetic elements, which is greater than the spring force. The attraction and spring forces are configured so that the spring force is greater than the attraction force when an additional force in the direction of the spring force is combined with the spring force.

Abstract: A slip-in type sanitary cover is a plastic bag and includes a cut peripheral edge to define a plastic film that can be torn along the cut peripheral edge to form a hole. Extremely-small-area connecting points are provided on the cut peripheral edge of the plastic film. A larger-area connecting point is located on a front end of the cut peripheral edge of the plastic film. The plastic film is connected to the sanitary cover by the extremely-small-area connecting points and the larger-area connecting point. The plastic film includes at least one hot-melt pressing/bonding point that can hook a front end of the toilet seat when the toilet seat is slipped into the sanitary cover. The extremely-small-area connecting points are pulled and torn off to form the hole when the toilet seat is completely slipped into the sanitary cover. The larger-area connecting point is still connected to the plastic bag after the hole is formed.

Abstract: The present invention is an automatic toilet seat closure device and mechanism that is able to automatically close the toilet seat or both the toilet seat and toilet cover in response to flushing the toilet bowl using a handle. In one embodiment, the invention is further capable of restraining the decent of the toilet cover while allowing only the toilet seat to lower. It has a standardized appearance and adequate strength for use with all types of flush type toilet tanks It can be conveniently, efficiently, and inexpensively manufactured, assembled, and mounted with minimal labor and time. It can be installed as an add-on or can be manufactured as part of the toilet bowl system.

The sealing assembly may comprise a portion on which a sealing component is positioned. A toilet is positioned over the sealing assembly. The sealing arrangement defines an effective area over which the ground water pressure acts to drive the element in the direction, and an effective area over which pool water pressure acts to drive the element opposite the direction. The co-operable features are configured such that a ratio, of the effective area over which the ground water pressure acts to the effective area over which pool water pressure acts, has a value of at least 0.9.

The cover plate covers at least a portion of the semi-circular portion of the second bracket. By having the cover plate conceal the gear mechanism of the sofa hinge, the risk of injury to the operator's fingers is substantially reduced.

An external load compresses of one of the void cells within an independent compression range without significantly compressing at least one void cell adjacent the compressed void cell. The independent compression range is the displacement range of the compressed void cell that does not significantly affect the compression of adjacent void cells. If the void cell is compressed beyond the independent compression range, the intermedial binding layers may be deflected and/or the void cells adjacent the compressed void cell may be compressed.

In further embodiment of the invention, the surfactant system may comprise three surfactants. In another aspect of the invention, the composition effectively removes medical adhesives from healthcare textiles.

Abstract: A detergent emulsifier for laundry and other hard surface cleaning using an APE-free surfactant blend is disclosed. The emulsifier system is efficacious for removal of oily soils and greasy food removal. The compositions according to the invention include linear and branched fatty alcohol ethoxylates and ethoxylate propoxylate block copolymers. Methods of using the same are disclosed.

Abstract: The present application is directed to a method of waterless processing of textile materials using supercritical fluid, including the use of supercritical fluid to dye the textile materials, the use of supercritical fluid for a pre-processing procedure of cleansing the textile materials, and the use of supercritical fluid to wash off unfixed dyes and cleansing of the textile materials and to perform the post-processing procedure of adding functional materials after the use of supercritical fluid to dye the textile materials. The present application provides an integrated technology of pre-processing, dyeing and post-processing of textile materials using supercritical fluid. At the same time, cleansing and dyeing are performed which effectively raises the efficiency.

The ramp assembly comprises a chassis, a ramp extendible from the chassis, a frame which carries the chassis and a sensor arranged to sense movement of the chassis relative to the frame. The chassis is mounted in the frame such that it moves relative to the frame in response to both abutment of the leading edge of the ramp against an obstacle and in response to vertical force applied to the top of the extended, or partially extended ramp. The chassis also moves relative to the frame in response to a force applied to the side of the extended or partially extended ramp.

Abstract: An approach is provided a device for an electric toothbrush. The device comprises a brush head, a motor and a controller. The brush head has multiple exposed brush sets. The motor is connected to the brush head which is configured for driving the exposed brush sets. The controller drives the motor with a power module, and sensing a current of the motor which drives the motor in a pulse activated mode when the sensed current exceeds the predetermined current threshold. The pulse activated mode will make the bristle tuft rotary motion in a pulsating bristle tuft motions, and a person can be physically noticed through gums and teeth that reminds the person to release the brush pressure. The controller will disable the motor and warn the person if the brush pressure remains in a predetermined period of time.

Abstract: The Floor Check is a scraping tool with special features that allow it to be quickly attached to the ends of broom handles, so it doubles the effectiveness of brooms as cleaning tools. Brooms are some of the most common cleaning tools in the world. They are highly effective at removing loose debris from surfaces; but when wet food and dirt dry and become stuck to the floor, it's necessary to get down and scrape them loose. When using the Floor Check however, it's not necessary to find another tool and get down on the floor; simply turn the broom around, remain standing, scrape off whatever is stuck, and then sweep it away. The Floor Check can be quickly removed from broom handles for use on raised surfaces also. Because of its usefulness, the Floor Check should become as common as the broom itself.
