Abstract: The present disclosure teaches systems and methods for a polymer based smoking substitute material. Polyalkylene carbonates are clean burning polymers which have a range of glass transition temperatures and other properties. Cigarettes (10) having smokable material, wrapping material (14) and filter material (16) comprised of one or more polyalkylene carbonates are disclosed. These systems and methods will find industrial applicability in, for example, the tobacco products industry.

Abstract: The present embodiments describe a magnetically assembled hookah. The magnetically assembled hookah can have one or more magnetic attachment means that removably couple the parts of the hookah together. The magnetic attachment means generally comprises a magnetic material or a magnet that connects with another magnet or ferromagnetic material. The magnet, magnetic material, or ferromagnetic material can be incorporated into the components of the hookah or be a separate component of the hookah. As a non-limiting example, the magnetic attachment means can include a separate body member that is made of a magnetic or ferromagnetic material to connect with another hookah component at least partially comprised of a magnetic or ferromagnetic material.

The insert may be formed from a blank and define a stepped configuration that supports each product is supported at a different height. Abstract: A touch control electronic cigarette comprises a casing containing a fragrance; a cigarette filter arranged at the rear end of the casing; a smoke generator arranged inside the casing and atomizing the fragrance into gas; a capacitive sensor module arranged inside the cigarette filter, and generating capacitance variation functioning as a triggering signal while the user is touching the cigarette filter; and a control chip arranged inside the casing, controlling the smoke generator according to the triggering signal to atomize the fragrance into gas, which is to be inhaled by the user, and stopping controlling the smoke generator to atomize the fragrance while the user does not touch the cigarette filter. The present invention is not turned on by push button but triggered by lips of the user lest the user turn on the electronic cigarette imprudently. Besides, the present invention conforms to the usage habit of users.

Abstract: A shoe with a three-dimensional (3-D) surface texture created using rapid manufacturing techniques is provided. A plurality of 3-D surface texture options is presented on a user interface; each of the options is associated with one of a plurality of 3-D surface textures to be applied to a portion of a shoe. A selection of a 3-D surface texture is received and is used in part to generate a design file. The design file is used to instruct a rapid manufacturing device to manufacture the portion of the shoe comprised of the 3-D surface texture using a rapid manufacturing technique.

Abstract: A barefoot shoe with bottom and upper, and with fasteners for fastening the barefoot shoe on the foot of a person wearing the barefoot shoe, has a bottom consisting entirely or at least almost exclusively of ring structures. The drainage system has a plurality of grooves defined throughout the top surface of the sole to define a plurality of islands of different heights on the toe, ball, arch and heel regions of the sole. The grooves have different slopes and extend over the toe, ball, arch and heel regions in a manner which guides liquid to flow laterally out of the sole.

Abstract: An improved footwear device is user customizable permitting selective alteration of the footwear appearance. Each footwear device is made from layers of rubber or similar footwear material. A first layer forms a bottom (outsole) that impacts the pathway surface. A second layer or insole forms a working surface to protect the user foot from impacts, pathway contours and debris. The cosmetic alteration portion of the device comprises three loops formed from a single strand of fabric such as cotton or similar material. This strand is threaded through three strategically positioned holes perforating the second or insole layer; then, the strand is folded in such a fashion that three loops are formed, one for each hole. Next, the two layers are adhesively attached one to another so as to form a completed device. A strip of material is then threaded through the protruding loops so as to change the footwear's appearance.

The adjuster device according to the invention allows, when the adjuster is in the open, release position, the strap to be easily pulled and freely move through the adjuster in both directions whereas the strap, when the adjuster is in the closed, fastening position, is securely fastened (without any risk for slippage) while still allowing the strap to be easily tightened by pulling the strap in one direction only. The present device does not cause wear and tear of the web, prevents slippage and is easy to use.
