The fabric may be used as a tether to releasably connect a portable electronic device to a user. The light transmissive fibers may transmit light to convey information to the user. The fabric may also be used as part of the housing of an electronic device.

Abstract: A wearable electronic device holder having a retention member for retaining an electronic device, such as a smartwatch or an MP3 player, and a wrist strap attached to the retention member is disclosed. The retention member includes a protective frame comprising one or more covers or openings for receiving and allowing interaction with one or more buttons, knobs, and/or ports of the electronic device. At least one of the covers is configured to enable the dual-action functionality of a knob of the electronic device. The protective frame may also include an opening adapted to receive sound-permeable, waterproof inserts for an audio port of the electronic device. The protective frame further includes fastening holes for attachment to the wrist strap. The protective frame may be a two-piece frame that partially encloses the electronic device.

Abstract: The invention discloses a combinative diamond jewelry, which includes: a metal supporting base on an upper surface edge of which a plurality of metal claws, each metal claw having a carving formed on its top surface; and a plurality of small sized diamonds inlaid between the upper surface of the supporting base and metal claws. Also disclosed is a method for making the same. Said major diamond, periphery diamonds and bottom diamonds are pressed with each other and secured onto the upper surface of the supporting base, and form together with the metal claws structure identical to each cutting edge angle of the diamond. No slot is formed among the diamonds of the jewelry and therefore, dust is prevented from coming into the interior of the jewelry, thus overcoming drawbacks of prior art combinative diamond jewelry.

Additional decorative elements may be mechanically linked to one or more magnetically fastened element to create a complex decoration.

Abstract: A hiking stick for use in traversing terrain has an elongated shaft having a first end and a second end. A handle is coupled to the elongated shaft second end to allow the user to grasp the hiking stick. The handle comprises a multi-tool arcuate blade that consists of a first end that couples to the elongated shaft second end, a spear tip, a generally concave blade positioned intermediate the spear tip and the arcuate blade first end, and a generally convex blade positioned intermediate the spear tip and the arcuate blade first end. A portion of the generally convex blade proximate the spear tip and a cutting edge intermediate the generally concave blade portion and the spear tip together form a spear head. A sheath is configured to cover the arcuate blade and allow the user to grasp the handle.

Abstract: A clip suitable for holding money, credit cards and document is described. The clip includes features that enable use of decorative leather, cloth, rubber, polyester or polyurethane covers that can be interchanged and conceal the inner, typical metal, workings of the clip. The clip further includes features that allow control of positioning of the lever arms of the clip for ease of use as a money clip and expansion of the use as a stand for electronic devices.

Abstract: Disclosed is a card and money holder for simultaneously holding paper money and wallet sized cards, such as those containing credit or identification information. Said card and money holder comprises a generally rectangular prism shaped card and money holder, and a compression plate inside the rectangular shaped card and money holder. The card and money holder may hold one or a plurality of cards with said cards being held securely in place. The design allows for a unique rotation method of inserting cards into the card and money holder while card removal can be achieved one handed by sliding a card through the retrieval slot.

Abstract: A neck and shoulder protective garment that functions to protect the skin while utilizing a heated grooming device such as a curling iron. A neck protection section is attached to a shoulder protection section. A connection section is attached to the neck protection section and functions to secure the protective garment around the user's neck. In a preferred embodiment the connection section is a Velcro® hook and loop fastening device. Also, in a preferred embodiment the protective garment is fabricated from flexible, fire retardant and fire resistant material.

Abstract: A pack is disclosed having a pack support structure, and a stand structure connected to the pack support structure. A disclosed collapsible shelter is stored on the pack and includes a floor material that provides a ground cover under the collapsible shelter, and is stored on the pack for carrying. The collapsible shelter, when in the deployed position, is attached to the pack support structure so that the pack is part of the collapsible shelter and is supported by the pack support structure. A shroud is also disclosed attached to the pack support structure to act as a heat shield. Support equipment and supplies are stored in the pack, and are accessible from inside of the collapsible shelter. Disclosed configurations allows for rapid deployment, and increased protection from heat in an emergency situation such as when a firefighter requires emergency protection from a wildfire.

The invention achieves this uniquely by substantially filling existing volumes of space in the vehicle with components made of compressible yet structurally firm material such that a large elevated platform emerges that is bound by three existing surfaces in the vehicle and that moves in lock step with the vehicle's motion. The invention assembles and disassembles quickly and has no attachment points to any part of the vehicle interior. Dogs can assume the natural down resting position and experience safety, comfort and a visual experience usually only available to human passengers along with greatly reduced anxiety and fewer incidents of motion sickness.

The guard includes a plurality of equidistantly spaced-apart fastener points formed on or in at least one of the first and second surfaces. The guard is attachable to a platform of a seat in both a first configuration wherein the skirt of the guard extends away from the platform of the seat and a second configuration wherein the guard is inverted from the first configuration.

The non-slip member is configured to inhibit the undesired movement of a cushion on a corresponding furniture member. The assembly being located between the furniture member and the cushion. The edge treatment configured to retain the shape and perimeter of the non-slip member. Coupling of the edge treatment to the non-slip member may be done through stitching or adhesive. An optional stiffening member may be added. The individual portions and items of the assembly may be interchanged and replaced as needed.

Abstract: Retractable beds exist and work on a myriad of mechanisms for enabling bed and mattresses to be retracted and deployed. However, structural deficiencies together with the weight of the mattress have contributed to deficiencies and damage to these retractable beds. An embodiment of the invention herein describes a positioning assembly comprising a platform structure supported by a support structure. The platform structure supports a mattress which is retractable towards the support structure. The positioning assembly further comprises a leg structure configured for being displaceable for supporting the platform structure in cooperation with the support structure when deployed. The leg structure further linked to the support structure for retraction thereof when the platform structure is retracted. The platform assembly further comprises linkages for controlling positioning of the leg structure and at least one guide structure for guiding movement of at least one of the linkages.
