Abstract: A knee pad holding mechanism for holding a knee pad over the knee region of a pantleg having a first length of fabric material and a second length of fabric material operatively attached to a pantleg on opposite sides of the knee region, each length of material forming a plurality of loops for receiving a strap associated with the knee pad. The plurality of loops associated with the first and second lengths of material are arranged in opposed relationship to each other and allow a user greater flexibility to adjust the vertical location of a knee pad relative to the user's knee. The plurality of loops can be individually formed on opposite sides of the knee region, or they can be formed using any number of a plurality of sections.

Abstract: A sports protective gear includes a stretchable protective sleeve defining a wearing space for wearing by a user and having a through hole bounded by a boundary edge of the protective sleeve, and an auxiliary device including a finger operable member disposed in the through hole and having a looped wall and two spaced-apart looped flanges. The looped wall defines a finger pass age. The flanges project outwardly and respectively from inner and outer peripheries of the looped wall, and cooperatively define therebetween an engaging groove which extends around the looped wall and which engages the boundary edge of the protective sleeve. The flanges respectively abut against inner and outer surfaces of the protective sleeve.

Abstract: A face shield attachment for a hat brim in accordance with the principles of the invention may be removably attached to a hat, such as for example a common baseball cap. The face shield may be pivoted upward in order to temporarily remove it from in front of a wearer. Abstract: An improved hospital isolation gown comprises a stethoscope cover portion having tubular legs covering the ear pieces and a tubular main body receiving the chestpiece and tubing. In embodiments, the stethoscope cover may be provided separately, individually dispensed from a stack of identical covers, shipped and dispensed from the same box.

Abstract: An adjustable front-opening hospital gown includes first and second front panels having respective mating fasteners, a rear panel, and an orientation feature such as a V-neck or other type of collar. The first front panel overlaps the second front panel in front of a torso of a patient. The rear panel is connected to the front panels, and defines an elongated slot that is overlapped or otherwise remains closed when access to a back of the patient is not required. The orientation feature identifies a designated front of the hospital gown. The gown may include intravenous access flaps, each positioned between the rear panel and a respective front panel. The rear panel may include first and second rear panels, one of which includes an edge overlapped by the other of the panel within the elongated slot to close the elongated slot.

Abstract: A glove with an enhanced gripping textured surface is disclosed herein. In preferred embodiments, the glove contains a palm region adapted to cover the palm of a person's hand, a thumb region extending outwardly from the palm region, an index finger region disposed adjacent the thumb region, a middle finger region adjacent the index finger region, a ring finger region adjacent the middle finger region, and a little finger region adjacent the ring finger region with each region containing a textured surface. In preferred embodiments, the textured surface is formed by a plurality of lateral and longitudinal ridges protruding above the surface of the glove, said lateral and longitudinal ridges intersecting to form a grid of raised three dimensional structures such as grid of raised squares.

A garment may be a sleeved partial undergarment accessory that may be worn under an outer garment and may be removed without requiring removal of the outer garment. A garment may include first and second tubular sleeves with a continuous front region extending between the sleeves and from a neck opening down to a torso opening, a continuous back region extending between the sleeves and from the neck opening down to the torso opening. The opening extends from and is continuous with a distal-most region of the proximal sleeve openings so that the front region and the back region do not connect to each other around the first and second sleeve openings.

Abstract: The invention could comprise a hair augmentation system comprising a binding comb comprising a handle supporting both a prong section and a clamp, the clamp is capable of removably securing to the binding comb one or more hair strands held by the prong section; an adhesive tray for applying extension adhesive to an adhesive applicator; the adhesive applicator moving in the adhesive tray to transfer extension adhesive to the one or more hair extensions held by an extension applicator; and the extension applicator that removably mates to the binding comb so that the one or more of hair extensions with extension adhesive simultaneously binds with one or more of hair stands as held by the binding comb.

Abstract: An impact sensing system includes a first impact sensor having a flexible dielectric layer, a first printed electrode on a first side of the layer, and a second printed electrode on a second side of the layer. The second printed electrode overlies and is moveable toward and away from the first electrode by deformation of the flexible dielectric layer. Further, the layer maintains a capacitance between to the first electrode and the second electrode that changes with a movement of the second electrode toward or away from the first electrode. The system further includes a first readout circuit electronically coupled with the first and second electrodes to measure a change in the capacitance and output a corresponding voltage.

Abstract: Helmets and helmet fit systems are disclosed herein. The helmets include a shell and the helmet fit system. The helmet fit system includes a passive adjustment mechanism. The passive adjustment mechanism is configured to automatically and passively vary a length of a perimeter that is defined by the helmet responsive to a tension force that is applied to the passive adjustment mechanism by a remainder of the helmet. Some helmet fit systems further include a manual adjustment mechanism configured to receive user input for selectively increasing and decreasing the length of the perimeter.

Abstract: A Triangular metal base, sandwiched between the foot-bed and bottom sole on slippers/flip-flop, would allow an user to interchange the ‘straps’ matching their outfit, for style or taste. There would be only one foot base which could be worn with interchangeable ‘straps’. This is almost like having 2 or more pair of slippers/flip-flop for a lesser price. In addition there would be full or partial elastic band strap that would go around the upper ankle with clasps which would be attached to the Straps to give a grip to the foot by holding the foot tight to the slippers/flip-flops. As an inventor, I would manufacture this as 4 parts, triangular metal base with clasp eye, multilayered foot base, straps with claps, elastic ankle band with clasps.

Abstract: A device and method for protecting the heel post area of a high heel shoe that is not visible to the casual observer. The device may be comprised of flexible transparent material, having a front side for protecting the surface of the heel post area, and a back side comprising an adhesive for removably adhering the device to the surface of the heel post area, and a shape configured for wrapping around the heel post area. The method and device may also comprise a means for removing a worn device from the heel post area after use, and for replacing the worn device with a new device.

Abstract: A golf shoe outsole comprises a thin, flexible base layer having many discrete platforms projecting downwardly from the base layer for providing traction elements. The platforms are separated by channels and open regions to allow the discrete platforms to readily flex relative to one another about the thin base layer, providing enhanced flexibility to the outsole and improved traction performance during a dynamic act such as a golf swing.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a ski boot accessory. The ski boot accessory may include a base member and a bar member attachable to the base member. The base member may be mounted to a ski boot. Further, the bar member may be shaped and oriented such that the bar member deflects slalom gates away from a skier's legs and/or body. Furthermore, the ski boot accessory may be made of plastic material, an alloy, and the like.

Abstract: An article and system for regulating temperature in footwear. Thermal footwear may include a power generation layer, a thermocell layer, and an accessory layer. The power generation layer may be constructed of an actuator material—for example, a dielectric elastomer—which may generate an electric current when compressed or decompressed. The thermocell layer may be configured to either warm or cool a user's foot, and may be reversible by being removably coupled to the power generation layer. The accessory layer may include other components; for example, an integrated circuit chip for power transmission to an external device may be included.

Abstract: A shoe that reduces or eliminates pain in the foot wearing the shoe, having an upper, a sole, a heel, and a heel seat, wherein the shoe includes a heel center point, a last ball break point, a toe point, and a longitudinal, horizontal center line that defines a lateral center of gravity through the shoe, wherein the heel center point, the last ball break point, the toe point are disposed along the longitudinal, horizontal center line of the shoe. The toe spring can be between about 7 mm and about 10 mm. The heel height can be 100 mm or less, from the bottom of the heel base to an upper-rear peripheral point of the heel seat. And the heel seat has a pitch that is controlled to about 20 mm or less, and preferably 15-20 mm.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes a decoupled foot stabilizer system. The foot stabilizer system is decoupled from a midfoot region of the article of footwear. The foot stabilizer system includes a plurality of strap members. The foot stabilizer system may optionally include a bootie. The plurality of strap members extends underneath a portion of a foot of a wearer. The plurality of strap members is configured to receive a lace at one end. A lace running through the ends of the strap members pulls on the strap members when the lace is tightened and causes the foot stabilizer system to conform to the wearer's foot.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a performance enhancing shoe sole that includes an anterior support structure and a posterior support structure that are connected by a first support structure. The anterior support structure and posterior support structure are flexible bent spring structures. The first support structure provides a plantar interface that includes a midfoot arch. The shoe sole is positionable in a shoe to provide shock absorption and controlled energy return from the posterior support structure to the first support structure. The shoe sole is an interconnected bent spring system that can be a single ribbon of flexible material defining multiple pivot angles or a multi-layered cantilevered flexible bent spring. The shoe sole can also include inserts that dampen shock.

Abstract: A sole for an article of footwear having elongated cleats is provided. The elongated cleats extend toward the toe end of the sole and toward the heel end of the sole such that the heel-ward end of each of the elongated cleats is closer to the midline than each corresponding toe-ward end of the elongated cleats. The configuration and position of the elongated cleats can provide increased lateral and forward stability for a wearer's feet.

For example, the first piece of material is a boat tarp and the second piece of material is a boat hull. The latching device includes a locking buckle and clasp assembly. The locking pawls engage the clasp assembly to releasably retain the locking buckle on the clasp assembly.

The jewelry system comprises a necklace bail with two sections, a front section and a back section. The front section and the back section are attached using a hinge mechanism. The at least one earring is removably attached to the necklace bail using either at least one hole on one of the two sections, if the at least one earring is of post-style, or using at least one of hook or spring-gate snap hook or lever-back hook, if the at least one earring is of dangle-style.

Abstract: Accessories, such as articles of jewelry, are provided having one or more keepsakes that may slide to on or off the accessory substrate. The keepsakes may have a decorative front side and a rear side that may cause the keepsake to encircle the substrate. The rear side may have a greater length than the front side, which may permit natural spacing between the front sides of adjacent keepsakes.

The compartment contains an auxiliary bag that is attached by an edge of its bottom to an inside edge of the inner compartment. Abstract: A blow dryer attachment for vectoring directional flow of an airstream exiting a barrel of a blow dryer. The attachment features at least two body components in an articulated engagement having a central passage which may be curved by such articulation to reposition and exit aperture in a nozzle end opposite a connection to a blow dryer. A flexible coupling may be provided as an interface to connect the device to a broader range of blow dryers. A rotational engagement of the first component to the blow dryer allows for rotation of the exit aperture around the axis of the blow dryer barrel for additional adjustment of the angle and direction or vector angle of the exiting airstream from the attachment.
