Abstract: Clothing for an infant having functions of preventing the neck from bending back and protecting the back of the head, as suggested in the present invention, has a frame structure body installed within a silicone cover configured in a form of being easily wearable by the infant, and is configured so as to be finished by putting a cushion fabric in the front and the back of the frame structure body and fixing the same with the edge of the silicone cover, thereby being capable of preventing the head of the infant from bending back excessively, and of safely protecting the back of the head of the infant from impact.

Abstract: Different molding materials and methods are provided for producing a sport bra having moisture-transporting molded bra cups. The different molding materials comprise foams having different average cell sizes, fibers having different average deniers per filament, injection-molding materials having different degrees of hydrophilicity, and different hydrophilic treatments. The molding materials are arranged to create a hydrophilic gradient from a skin surface of the wearer of the sport bra to the exterior of the sport bra.

Abstract: Concepts provided are directed to garments and methods of making garments with enhanced cooling and airflow. The garments created are provided with airflow channels by lifting the garment off from the skin of a wearer. Particularly, the lift is created in areas of greater contact by providing a flocked silicone dimensional pattern aligned with a plurality of perforations. The enhanced airflow provided by the garments in accordance with aspects hereof also results in enhanced moisture evaporation from the wearer's skin, which also aids in the cooling of the wearer's body.

Abstract: A nonwoven for use in a thermal liner for protective apparel includes 1-45 wt % of a first inherently heat resistant fiber excluding an aramid, and a balance of a second heat resistant fiber. The nonwoven excludes wool and has a thickness less than 3 mm and a basis weight of less than 2.9 osy (100 gsm). In another embodiment, the insulating layer for protective apparel includes a nonwoven including an inherently flame resistant fiber and fibers being inherently resistant to moisture absorption. The inherently flame resistant fiber is different from said inherently resistant to moisture absorption fiber. The nonwoven has an equivalent or better thermal protective performance (TPP) and a lower basis weight than an industry standard nonwoven consisting of a nonwoven of para-aramids or meta-aramids or a blend of both.

Abstract: A helmet including an insert provides the ability of including a highly energy absorbing feature within the insert. The insert includes a structure such as a Bingham plastic which, upon impact, absorbs the energy of the impact by converting from a solid to a liquid. Other energy absorbing features are contemplated. The energy absorption process occurs in one aspect in a nonreversible manner such that once a high enough level impact occurs on the insert, it must be replaced within the helmet. The insert has a fastener which enables it to b replaceable. In this manner, a highly absorbing feature of a helmet can be provided to reduce concussions while not requiring the complete replacement of a helmet.
