The gripping portion includes a first notch adjacent the top surface and a second notch adjacent the bottom surface. The first notch defines a first angle, and the second notch defines a second angle, wherein the first angle increases and the second angle decreases as the knuckle pivots about the axis.

The garment is similar to a necktie in that it has a main body of similar shape and dimensions to a necktie and attaches around the neck of the user with a strap. The garment includes a vertical beverage holder that is combined with the main body of the garment, with a bottom and an opening that faces up, allowing the introduction of a canned or bottled beverage.

In addition, the pre-tied necktie further includes a fastening means to fasten the first and second neck bands to tie the pre-tied necktie around a user's neck. The first and third tails are tied together to form a first knot and the second and fourth tails are tied together to form a second knot. Abstract: Methods according to the present disclosure include creating a three-dimensional effect, for example, an applique effect, that allows for the effect to be more integrated with the object to which it is added than in conventional methods. These methods can include adding the effect or applique on a surface of an object with the object sandwiched between the applique and a structure-imparting material, allowing the applique and the object it is on to move more freely and in unison together. In some embodiments, the structure-imparting material is sandwiched between the applique and/or the object on one side and a support backing on the opposite side. The three-dimensional applique can be formed by applying force to the object on a side opposite to the applique such that indentations and protrusions are formed in the layered structure of the object and structure-imparting material, providing a three dimensional applique image.

The applique is made of 100% polyester fabric woven or knit which is dye-sublimated-printed to create an exterior decorative image or logo. The applique interior has a perimeter made of a thermoplastic adhesive consisting of either nylon, polyester or some combination thereof that is used to seal a folded top lip or edge of the intended pocket to itself and the remaining perimeter adhesive to a piece of apparel or garment.

More particularly, the present invention relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Perforations along the seams between the insulating chambers may achieve optimal evaporative moisture transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment.

Abstract: A shoe fastener strap is provided that is able to releasably secure the shoes of a baby or toddler to pant legs of the baby or toddler so that the shoes do not fall off of the baby or toddler's feet and become lost or otherwise misplaced. The shoe fastener strap includes a first fastener that is used to releasably secure the shoe fastener strap to a pant leg, and it includes a second fastener which may be semi permanently secured to the back of a baby or toddler's shoe. The first fastener preferably is a clip-type fastener which also has a tab backing member that serves to help close the first fastener around a pant leg as well as to serve as a decorative emblem.

Abstract: A method for forming a combination of natural and artificial hair on a person's head without a braid foundation includes the steps of providing a wefted hair extension having artificial hair, a sew-in needle and a thread pair extending therefrom. The method includes parting the person's natural hair so as to form a plurality of adjacent hair root sections forming a starter knot about a starter root section by looping the thread pair about the starter root section using the sew-in needle. A foundation is created laterally across a person's head along the part line by repeatedly looping the thread pair around respective hair root sections between the starter and ending root sections. Then, the wefted hair extension is sewn to the foundation track using the sew-in needle and the thread pair so as to form a combination of natural and artificial hair extending from the person's head.

The orthotics can be designed with a patient-specific design and can include variation in hardness across the orthotic so as to satisfy clinical need. An orthotic can be a custom-designed orthotic formed according to an additive manufacturing process such as a 3-D printing methodology. Through utilization of on-site formation methods such as 3-D printing, an orthotic can be designed, formed and fit at the point of care in a much shorter time period than traditional orthotics. The orthotics can include a layer that includes a plurality of cells across the layer. The layer can exhibit variable hardness across the layer through variation in cell void volume and optionally material of formation across the layer.
