Abstract: A portable vaporizer is described herein. The portable vaporizer includes a heating assembly having a base and a heating crucible. An extension adapter is coupled to the base of the heating assembly and slidably received within the chamber body. A cartridge receiver is coupled to the chamber body and receives a cartridge therein. A plunger having a head and a threaded shaft is received within the cartridge. The threaded shaft includes a flat edge. A cover having a bore is coupled to the cartridge receiver. The threaded shaft is threadably received through the bore. A mouthpiece having a central bore is received over the threaded shaft. A detent radially extends into the central bore and engages with the flat edge of the threaded shaft. A rotation of the mouthpiece causes an axial movement of the head of the plunger within the cartridge with respect to the cover.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed comprising an intake, configured to receive air from an area around the apparatus, a pump coupled to the intake, configured for drawing the air into the apparatus via the intake, a sensor, coupled to the pump, configured for detecting a condition of the drawn air, a processor, configured for collecting data related to the condition of the drawn air from the sensor and for determining one or more vaporizable materials to vaporize based on the condition, a vaporizer component, coupled to the processor, configured for vaporizing the one or more vaporizable materials to create a vapor, and a vapor output, coupled to the vaporizer component, configured for expelling the vapor into the area around the apparatus.

Abstract: An electrical connection structure for an atomizer assembly is provided, an electronic wire at one end of a heating wire assembly in the atomizer assembly is pressed between an outer wall of an upper electrode and an inner wall of an atomizing seat, and the outer wall of the upper electrode has a contact surface consisting of a protrusion and/or a recess, and the electronic wire is in contact with the contact surface. An atomizer assembly and an electronic cigarette each having the above electrical connection structure are also provided.

Abstract: An electronic cigarette battery assembly, including a charging electrode, the charging electrode including an inner electrode arranged on the inner rim thereof and having a spherical cap end face, and an outer electrode arranged outside the inner electrode and having a ring shape; the charging electrode and the rechargeable battery of the electronic cigarette being connected by means of a control module, when it is necessary to charge the rechargeable battery, one need only connect the charging electrode to the electric power output terminal of the external charger in order to charge the rechargeable battery. There is no need to remove the rechargeable battery, thus the invention is very convenient to use and solves the problems of existing electronic cigarettes, wherein it is inconvenient to remove a rechargeable battery for charging and the electrical connection is unreliable due to loosening of the battery.

The heating chamber is arranged at a first end of the housing, and is configured for receiving at least one part of the cigarette. The heating chamber defines an air inlet and an opening. The opening is configured for receiving an end of the cigarette. The heating chamber includes a plurality of heating pieces arranged on two opposite inner walls. Each heating piece includes a heating surface facing an interior space of the heating chamber. The power supply is arranged at an opposite second end of the housing, and is configured for feeding the heating pieces power.

Abstract: An electronic smoking article includes an outer tube extending in a longitudinal direction, an inner tube within the outer tube and including a pair of opposing slots, a liquid supply comprising a liquid material, a coil heater, a wick and a mouth end insert. The coil heater is located in the inner tube. The coil heater is formed of an iron-free, nickel-chromium alloy and has substantially uniformly spaced windings. The wick is surrounded by the coil heater such that the wick delivers liquid material to the coil heater and the coil heater heats the liquid material to a temperature sufficient to vaporize the liquid material and form an aerosol in the inner tube.

Abstract: A one-piece form-fitting bodysuit includes a front panel, a back panel joined to the front panel with neck and arm holes and a seat opening provided, a crotch panel joined to the front panel, a seat flap connected to the crotch panel, and closure elements provided on the peripheries of the seat opening and the seat flap. The bodysuit may be worn under street clothes and prevents the wearer from exposing his or her private parts area to nearby people. The bodysuit is constructed so that the wearer cannot easily get his or her hands inside of the bodysuit. The back flap can be opened by a caretaker, for changing the wearer's diaper.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an arch supporting sock in which proper curvature of the arch is reinforced and strain on the leg, arch, and greater foot area is decreased, comprising a first region having a first elasticity coefficient and a second region, roughly encompassing the arch of the foot, having a second elasticity coefficient, wherein the second region provides greater structural support than the first region and the second elasticity coefficient is lower than the first elasticity coefficient. The arch supporting sock may further comprise one or more perimetric boundaries between the first and the second region, each boundary comprising a perimetric elasticity coefficient, wherein one or more perimetric boundaries has a perimetric elasticity coefficient less than the first and second elasticity coefficients. Embodiments of the sock include non-interchangeable left or right socks with the arch support assemblage residing on the inner half of the sock.

Abstract: A towel to dry a wet infant or toddler enabling use of both hands is described. The towel used to wrap and dry an infant comprises a segment of fabric draped on a person with extra area so it maybe folded over the infant or toddler. The towel has provision for snaps to secure the folded towel around the infant, a hood at the top to cover the infants head and one or more means to secure the towel to the person drying the infant or toddler. In a second use, the towel is used to wrap and dry a toddler with the strap detached using the snaps provided on the segments of fabric to secure the towel around the toddler.

Abstract: A garment provided with cup sections includes: a first part on a front side including a pair of cup sections and a front side base section to support a lower edge portion side of the cup section; and a second part on a skin side including a pair of pad sections and a skin side base section to support a lower edge portion side of the pad section. A side portion of the front side base section and a side portion of the skin side base section are connected and thereby the first part and the second part are coupled to each other. The first part is movable upward, downward, forward, and backward relative to the second part.

The first support area comprises an upper support portion made up of a first structural configuration comprising a plurality of alternating struts and openings. The upper support portion is located above breast cup portions of the support garment. The second support area comprises a lower support portion located below the breast cup portions. The lower support portion includes a second structural configuration comprising a plurality of alternating struts of openings.

Abstract: A system and method of evacuating a downed tactical operator from a hostile environment comprising adding an evacuation belt strap to a PALS grid on a body armor vest by using belt keepers. The evacuation belt strap is made by forming loops at the ends of the strap to function as handles to be grasped by rescuers of the downed operator.

Abstract: An illuminating and reflective safety patrol band is a garment that is worn to improve the user's visibility in low-light conditions. The garment includes a wearable strap featuring a waist loop and a cross strap that are worn on the body. At least one reflective strip is able to reflect light away from the user's body while at least one illuminating device is able to provide illumination in order to active improve the user's visibility. At least one control unit is utilized to configure the brightness and behavior of the at least one illuminating device. A power supply provides electrical power to the electronic components including a processor for the at least one control unit. At least one securing fastener is utilized to secure the wearable strap to the user's waist in order to prevent the wearable strap from shifting.

Abstract: A garment for use in a wide variety of aquatic activities is described. The garment includes an elastomeric torso element running from a user's shoulders to the lower thigh area with tubular portions for the user's upper legs, and may include elastomeric leg coverings designed to cover the rest of the user's legs and to be detachably coupled to the torso element with a fastening mechanism. The top portion of the torso element and the tubular leg portions of the torso element can be folded over and fastened in a compacted position, easing movement in the garment when full coverage is not needed. The garment may include insulative boots for the user's feet, and the leg coverings may have built-in gravel guards that overlap the boots, preventing debris from entering into the boots.

Abstract: An adult bib having a liquid impermeable full front panel, and a partial back panel including a pair of shoulder support panels is disclosed. The adult bib may include two arm openings, an adjustable closeable rear neck opening, and a closable storage pocket to collect, secure and contain any spillage after use. The partial back and arm openings resist displacement during use. The full front panel in combination with the partial back panel make the wearer appear to be wearing a standard shirt/blouse when seated.

Abstract: A garment having two leg pieces joined into a trouser, with a waistband disposed around the top of the garment. A seat is connected at the bottom of the seat to the tops of the two leg pieces, but is not connected at the sides of the seat to the leg pieces, and also is not connected at the top of the seat to the waistband. Drawstrings are connected at one end of each drawstring to the top corners of the seat. The drawstrings are used to selectively release the seat into a dropped position when the drawstrings are disengaged one from another, and to tighten and retain the seat in a raised position when the drawstrings are engaged one with another.

The article comprises a polymeric layer coated on at least a portion of the article, a plurality of cavities formed in the polymeric layer, wherein each cavity in the plurality of cavities have a size between about 50 microns to about 2000 microns, and wherein a majority of the plurality of cavities have encircling perimeter ridges, and a plurality of channels formed in the polymeric layer between the encircling perimeter ridges.

In some examples, the waistband positioning system is configured to maintain pants, skirts, leggings, tights, stockings, etc. in proper position against the forces of gravity. In some examples, the waistband positioning system is configured to support another article of clothing and at least partially absorb and/or distribute the forces associated with supporting the other. The garment assembly may be any suitable type of top, shirt, brassiere, camisole, tank top, athletic top, or any other desired article of clothing having a panel with integrated waistband positioning system. In some examples, the waistband positioning system has one or more inner panels or areas configured to move independently from the outer layer of the garment assembly to support the weight of another article of clothing.

Abstract: A clothing strap retention device, or “holder,” in accordance with the techniques of the present disclosure enables a user to retain multiple shoulder or equivalent straps of a clothing garment proximate to one another at a region along the length of the straps. As a result, the effective length of the straps is reduced and the movement of the straps is restricted, thereby lifting up the garment and providing a better, more comfortable fit. Specifically, the holder includes a planar central portion having an equidimensional geometry that provides structural integrity to the holder, thereby enabling it to withstand torsional forces and prevent or reduce distortion such as twisting and warping. Additionally, the central portion includes a surface suitable for one or more of printing, embossing, and attaching an adhesive label to include any combination of text and graphical content for use in any of product marking, ornamental design, and advertisement.

Abstract: A wig fitting-dressing-cleaning template-shield made of a see-through flexible shrinkable barrier sheet material in hood form that is placed over the head of a person to be fitted for a wig in its expanded state as a hood, is shrunk to a shape-conforming envelope retaining the shape of the person's head and hair profile by hot air not causing injury to the person, and is then marked with the location of the person's hairline, creating a template to be sent to and used by a wig maker to make a proper fitting wig. During the making of the wig and during use of the wig, the template-shield protects a wig block from damage and staining during dressing and cleaning of the wig.

In some configurations, a lighting module having an internal layer and an exterior layer is attached to an underlying helmet. In some configurations, a lighting system includes pods and/or strips containing a source of light. The pods or strips can be attached to an underlying helmet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improvement to footwear. An insole is disclosed which is especially advantageous for users of high-heeled shoes. The insole comprises a cushioning pad arranged in a heel region and/or a toe region of the insole. The cushioning pad comprises an inner pad material and an outer pad material, the outer pad material enclosing the inner pad material to form a hermetically sealed pocket containing at least air and the inner pad material. A viscoelastic foam layer which extends continuously from one end of the insole to the other end of the insole in a longitudinal direction is arranged on the two cushioning pads. A shock-absorbing layer is arranged between the cushioning pad and the viscoelastic foam layer. A top layer which also extends continuously from one end of the insole to the other end of the insole in a longitudinal direction is arranged on the viscoelastic foam layer and comprises perforations provided in the heel region and the toe region.

Abstract: An orthotic device and method of use are disclosed for suspending toes of a wearer's foot off of a sole of footwear. The orthotic device includes a bottom surface, a top surface, and a distal end. The bottom surface is adapted to be affixed to a sole of protective footwear. The top surface is adapted to be adjacent to the foot when the foot is within the protective footwear and to suspend toes of the foot off of the sole when the foot is in a resting position within the protective footwear. The distal end defines ends of the bottom surface and the top surface, the distal end being substantially aligned with metatarsophalangeal joints of the foot when the foot is within the protective footwear.

Abstract: There is provided an insole for a sport footwear, the insole comprises: a forefoot portion comprising an incliner for inclining a foot of a wearer towards an outer side of the insole, a midfoot portion having an arch extending from an underside of the insole, and a rearfoot portion comprising an incliner for inclining the foot of the wearer towards the outer side of the insole. Such an insole can be effective for maintaining a linear motion of the knee of the user. Moreover such an insole can be effective for maintaining the foot of the person inclined outwardly. Thus, the body weight of the person can also be shifted outwardly, which improves balance.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole assembly. The sole assembly includes a unitary, open-celled structure. Specifically, the sole assembly includes a lattice structure having an interconnected network of struts and nodes that cooperate to define voids. The struts and nodes are configured to generate predetermined support and flexure properties within the network. The lattice may be configured as a conformal lattice, being contoured to receive accessories or complementary support structures. The sole assembly may further include an insert formed of compression material (e.g., foam). In operation, the lattice and foam insert cooperate to provide stability and cushioning to the article of footwear.

Abstract: An insulated sole having down feather insulation held captive therein and method of fabrication is described. The sole is formed with open top end cavities in which there is disposed down feathers r mixtures thereof to capture and retain heat. A membrane seals the open top end of the cavities. The insulated sole is used in the fabrication of articles of footwear for use in cold weather climate to resist to the cold emanating from the ground to shield against heat loss from the wearer's feet.

Abstract: An article of footwear may include an insert configured to receive a foot of a wearer. The insert may consist essentially of a casing configured to at least partially enclose a foot of a wearer and including a casing material and a high heat capacity material. The article of footwear may also include an outer assembly configured to receive the foot of the wearer when the foot is received within the insert.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a shank adapted for being integrated into a shoe sole and for mounting a heel element, wherein said shank at its heel portion is adapted to be connected to the heel element and wherein said shank comprises an upper surface pointing towards the inner shoe. At least a part of the upper surface at the heel portion is cup-shaped and adapted for receiving sole material inside the cup when integrating said shank in said sole during moulding of said shoe sole. Thereby, due to the amount of sole material present in the heel portion, the sole material covers the means used for connecting the shank to the heel element. Thereby, based on the properties of the sole material, the heeled shoe becomes comfortable and flexible at the heel portion. The invention further relates to a sole for a shoe with a cup-shaped shank and more specifically to a shoe with a cup-shaped shank.

Abstract: An improved method for fastening shoes with shoelaces having a first end and an opposing second end includes a spanning member having a hole to accommodate the first end, and a slot preferably sized for an interference fit with the second end. The first end is passed through the hole and knotted, preventing it from passing back through the hole. The second end is pulled to tighten the shoelace, knotted and anchored in the slot, maintaining the taut shoelace securely in place. With multiple holes and multiple slots, the tautness of a shoelace can be adjusted. The spanning member remains in place on a shoe when not in use, held by the knot in the first end. For convenience, a user may tie another knot in the second end, with a loop sized to receive a finger, for easily grasping the second end and sliding it into a slot.

Abstract: An adaptable buckle system that can be secured to a loop in a strap or cable to replace a broken buckle or add a buckle. The present invention includes two component members, a male connector and a female connector, which removably engage to form a fastening buckle. Both components have an interlocking side-release mechanism at the end opposing the connector. The interlocking side-release mechanism comprises a receiver on one side of the component member configured to receive a prong extending from the free end of a flexible arm pivotally affixed to the other side of the component member. The flexible arm may be fed through a loop in a strap or cable. Ridges that line the inner surface of the prong and inner wall of the receiver cause a cross-biting action that secures the prong in place. The prong is released when the arm is twisted thereby rotating the prong.

Abstract: A strap tie-down assembly for adjustably binding a strap includes opposed first and second handles pivoted to each other about an axle configured to windably receive a strap for binding. A lock is mounted in the assembly for movement between a locked position, in which the lock prevents movement of the axle, and an unlocked position, in which the lock allows movement of the axle.

The male buckle system is configured and arranged to be coupled to at least one first webbing. The male buckle system further includes a male connection portion. The receiving chamber has a select receiving chamber depth. The female housing member further has a movement channel portion that is connected to the receiving channel. One example provides a buckle comprising a first buckle piece and a second buckle piece each comprising a male connector portion and a female connector portion, the first buckle piece and the second buckle piece having a same configuration, wherein the male connector portion of each of the first buckle piece and the second buckle piece comprises an arm with a releasable latch, and the female connector portion of each of the first buckle piece and the second buckle piece comprises a receptacle for receiving an arm of the male connector portion of the other buckle piece and a catch for retaining the releasable latch of the other buckle piece.
