Abstract: Waterproof, breathable socks, booties, shoe inserts, and footwear assemblies containing the shoe inserts are provided. The booties and shoe inserts may include a laminate comprising a seamless extensible film, such as a polyurethane film, and at least one textile. The bootie is suitable for a range of sizes and shoe shapes. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. A bootie having a seamless extensible film eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the polyurethane film is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. Methods of forming the socks, booties, and shoe inserts are also provided.

Abstract: Heel dampening systems and footwear including the same are disclosed herein. Articles of footwear include an upper and a sole assembly. The sole assembly includes at least an outsole and a heel assembly. The heel assembly includes a heel dampening system, an upper heel layer that includes a cushion aperture, and a lower heel layer. The heel dampening system includes a heel dampening layer configured to at least partially absorb an impact force and a cushioning projection that extends from the heel dampening layer and at least partially through the cushion aperture in the upper heel layer.

Abstract: A thermal protection system is disclosed herein. In various aspects, the thermal protection system includes an insert. The insert may include a first layer and a second layer bonded to one another. The insert may be removeably receivable within a cavity of a shoe to form a thermally insulating barrier between a plantar surface of a user's foot and a sole of the shoe with a side of the first layer oriented toward the sole and a side of the second layer oriented toward the plantar surface. The first layer may include an aerogel and the second layer may include a meta aramid polymer, in various aspects. Related compositions of matter disclosed herein, in various aspects, include a plurality of layers bonded to one another in the form of an insert removeably receivable within a cavity of a shoe to create a thermal barrier between a sole of the shoe and a plantar surface of a foot of a user. In effect, the ankle containing portion may move/rotate sideways with respect to the sole structure/base portion via a connecting member (e.g., moving akin to rotation on a hinge type structure) to open in somewhat of a “clamshell” fashion. The rear of the upper base portion in this open condition may appear somewhat as an open backed slipper or “slide” type shoe. These actions and features open the rear heel area of the upper wide and low to enable easy insertion of a foot into the interior chamber, generally from the rear of the footwear structure. One or more straps can be used to secure the upper to the foot.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides footwear construction that includes a foot securing mechanism that provides improved fit without resulting in footwear that is substantially more difficult or time consuming to put on and take off. In one embodiment the footwear is a slip-on boot having both an instep hold down system and a heel retaining system. The invention has no pin insert hole on the back of the outer connecting piece of the watch chain, thus providing an attractive appearance, and reducing the manufacturing cost of the watch chain.

Abstract: The present invention is directed towards jewelry products, connected with reusable stickiness (adhesive) to grab and release the body and different surfaces. The present invention also includes different purposes for the gecko jewelry such as a gecko diamond, wristwatch, phones, bandages, electrodes etc. While the gecko's “glue” holds the on the body strongly in one direction, one can easily pull the product out to the other direction. Due to the gecko jewelry, the shape of the product can be changed and not necessarily symmetric. The gecko jewelry can come as a complete new product or the gecko adhesive can be as an add-on a part for an existing jewelry. The present invention also include a jewelry that has reusable adhesive made out of carbon nanotubes mimicking a gecko foot.

Upon twisting, the first end body with respect to the second end body, the gap is altered to a second gap width, narrower than the first gap width, which captures the object within the free space.

Abstract: A slide rail assembly includes a rail member, first and second brackets, a blocking member, and an elastic member. The two brackets are mounted to the rail member and are detachably attached to first and second posts of a rack respectively. The blocking member is movably connected to the second bracket, which can remain at a first position with respect to the blocking member thanks to the elastic member. After the first bracket is detached from the first post, the rail member can be displaced, and thus move the blocking member, in a direction so that the second bracket is displaced from the first position to a second position with respect to the blocking member and separated from the second post.
