Abstract: The present invention relates to a pasty pesticide applicator, comprising a cavity for containing pasty pesticide, an ointment base mounted inside the cavity and bonded together with pasty pesticide, and a screw for driving the ointment base to move along the inner wall of the cavity. One end of the screw is inserted into the inside of the cavity and the other end is outside the cavity and connected to a rotary handle. During application of pesticide, the operator removes the cap of the applicator from the cavity, rotates the rotary handle or the cavity to push the pasty pesticide in the applicator out of the cavity, holds the cavity in hand and directly smears the pasty pesticide on the target applying positions. The pesticide applying device provided by the present invention is characterized by safe use, simple structure, easy storage and portability.

Abstract: A hunting decoy apparatus, wherein the decoy exhibits lifelike movements controlled mechanically by a user. The apparatus comprises an outer sleeve member and a movable slidable member slidably engaged within the outer sleeve member. The outer sleeve member attaches to the ground. The decoy stand is inserted into the movable sliding member and extends perpendicular from the outer sleeve member in an upward direction with a decoy on top. The distal ends of the slidable inner sleeve member and the outer sleeve member are connected by an extension limiting biasing element such as a spring or elastic cord. A tether is attachable to the proximal end of the movable slidable member. To activate movement of the decoy, the tether is pulled and released by the user causing the decoy and decoy stand to move within the slot forward and backwards. Small tugs on the tether by the user causes the decoy to move in lifelike movements creating the appearance the decoy is bobbing and pecking like a wild bird.

Abstract: The present invention is for sanitizing compositions for sanitizing surfaces which may contact food. The composition may be provided in liquid form, and may include a quaternary amine, one or more surfactant, a fragrance, and water. At least 90% by weight of the fragrance comprises fragrance components that meet Class I qualifications of the Cramer classification system. All other components of the composition (e.g., the quaternary amine, the surfactants, water, and any optional components) meet the EPA guidelines under CFR 180.940(a). Since the composition only includes components that meet the EPA guidelines under CFR 180.940(a) (reflecting a presumption of low toxicity), and at least 90% of the fragrance itself (e.g., in the case of mixtures of fragrance components) meets the Cramer Class I qualifications, the composition is safe for application to surfaces that come in contact with food, where there is a heightened probability that traces of the composition will be ingested.

Abstract: The present invention relates to improvements in the preparation of beverage and food products and, in particular, to an improved composition for preparing beverage and food products in machines. The composition is prepared by the addition of a liquid to said composition and comprises one or more beverage or food ingredients and at least one preparation aid. The preparation aid comprises a plurality of bodies formed from a substantially insoluble material and the preparation aid is selected to have a predetermined effect on the interaction between the liquid and the composition. The bodies have a diameter in the range of 0.1 mm to 200 mm, and preferably in the range of 1 to 20 mm or in the range of 100 to 200 mm.

Abstract: The present invention provides beverage preservative systems for use in high acid beverage products, and beverage products comprising the beverage preservative systems. The beverage preservative system prevents spoilage by microorganisms in a beverage within a sealed container for a period of at least 16 weeks. The present invention reduces or eliminates the use of conventional preservatives that pose health and/or environmental concerns. The components that make up the beverage preservative system of invention work together in a synergistic manner to reduce the amount of preservative required and so improve the inventive beverage's sensory impact over beverages having conventional preservatives.

The nuts are soaked in a brine solution comprising at least 10% salt by weight and water for 6-16 hours. In some embodiments, the brine solution includes other heat tolerant flavors, such as cayenne pepper, hot sauce and capsicum extract. The nuts are drained for at least one hour to a moisture level of 21-24% water by weight. The nuts are then oil roasted at 305° F. for 11 minutes via a technique that fully enrobes the nuts in hot oil, such as a full submersion fry.
