The advantages of the present invention are smoking without tar, reducing the risk of cancer, the user still gets a smoking experience, the cigarette is not lit, and there is no fire danger.

Abstract: An electronic cigarette, an atomizer and an airflow regulator thereof are provided. The airflow regulator comprising a main ring body and a regulating ring piece. The main ring body is a hollow structure and a sidewall thereof comprises an air inlet. The regulating ring piece is disposed on a bottom of an inner periphery of the main ring body. The regulating ring piece is used to deform correspondingly according to a magnitude of pressure of incoming airflows passing through the air inlet. The electronic cigarette, the atomizer and the airflow regulator thereof provided are structurally novel and convenient to use, and the regulating ring piece thereof can correspondingly deform according to magnitudes of sucking forces of the user when the user smokes in order to automatically adjust an amount of air intake. Abstract: Articles of athletic garments, particularly sports bra and methods of treating the athletic garments with a shear thickening fluid (STF) are disclosed. The athletic garment comprises a STF treated fabric. The STF treated fabric in contact with the wearer's body part restricts movement of the body part when the shear stress exceeds the shear stress threshold value and stretches and conforms to the wearer's body part when the shear stress is less than the shear stress threshold value. The STF treatment method may include immersing the untreated fabric in a diluted STF bath, metering an amount of the fluid on the fabric, and removing the diluent from the treated fabric.

Abstract: A trouser with longitudinal evaporative cooling inseam panel is disclosed. The invention is comprised of a pair of form-fitting jeans having a permeable, textile panel strip running along the entire said inseam—from a user's ankle to a user's crotch and back down again to the distal ankle. An objective of the invention is to provide a thermal vent allowing for a plurality of personal hygiene improvements, including but not limited to, enhanced evaporative cooling of the skin during hot conditions; enhanced cooling of the thigh and calf muscles; minimizing friction and chafing of the upper thighs; and allowing for air exchange within the groin region leading to an overall improvement in comfort.

Abstract: The present inventive concept relates to a sealing arrangement for garments to sealingly connect an annular layer and a wearable layer to the sealing arrangement. The sealing arrangement comprises a sealing device and a reinforcement clip. The sealing device comprises an annular sealing body and an annular base, the latter having inner and outer annular wall portions at least partly defining a recess in the annular base. The sealing device comprises an annular sealing surface for circumferentially and sealingly connecting the annular layer to the annular base, and the annular sealing body is adapted to be locked into the recess to circumferentially and sealingly connect the wearable layer between the annular base and the annular sealing body.

Abstract: A garment and method for targeted water weight-loss of a user. The garment may be a typical article of clothing; however, heat trapping agents are applied to the garment, particularly on the inside of the garment so as to make contact with the skin causing increased perspiration of the user at the location where the heating trapping agent contacts the skin. The heat trapping agent can be applied to the garment at desired locations and with a desired pattern to increase the efficiency of perspiration, and therefore, water weight-loss. Preferably, the heat trapping agent is print material with a stretch additive.

Abstract: The present invention is a thin transparent pad in various configurations, coated by a durable, water repellent material and a padding of absorbent material on peripheral edges of the pad, which absorb perspiration from under arms of a user and prevent a garment of the user from staining. A plurality of micro channels is disposed on the pad to absorb body moisture and guide it to the padding portion. A plurality of perforations is created on the channels to allow the perspiration discharged in the underarm area to penetrate and become absorbed to the padding portion. The padding portion is made of a slightly thicker material with perforations, which allows the moisture to vapor. The armpit pad contacts the skin of a user or garment by adhesive means.

Abstract: A garment having accommodation for the driveline and support peripherals of a LVAD is shown and described. The garment is preferably formed in two sections including an upper body sheath and a lower body tube. These sections may overlap. The garment includes a slot for passing a driveline of the LVAD, and pockets for containing each of the support peripherals such as controller and batteries. The pockets hold the support peripherals close to the body with even distribution of weight of the support peripherals with respect to right and left sides of the body, compared with prior art practice of containing the peripherals in a bag slung over the shoulder.

Abstract: A vent structure and a method of forming a vent from a vent structure are described herein. The vent structure includes a first elongate member, a second elongate member, and a set of ribs extending between the first elongate member and the second elongate member. The first elongate member is configured to be attached to a first side of an opening formed in an article of apparel and the second elongate member is configured to be attached to a second side of the opening, the second side being opposite the first side. Collectively, the first elongate member, second elongate member, and the set of ribs bias the first side and the second side to an open configuration that exposes and expands the opening.

Abstract: Disclosed is a fabric having a first side and a second side, that is provided at least on part of the first side with a pattern of protrusions, wherein the protrusions comprise an expanded heat-expanding material, namely a heat-expanding material that has been expanded by heating. A polymeric layer is provided to the woven fabric to coat at least part of the protrusions. Also disclosed is a process for the production of the fabric and a garment comprising the fabric.

Further, the components are all interconnected thereby preventing separation of and choking on any of the components.

Abstract: Helmet padding systems are disclosed. One helmet padding system includes a rigid shell configured to cover a top of a user's head and be worn under a piece of headgear. A spacing pad is positioned within the rigid shell. One or more straps are connected to the rigid shell and configured to secure the rigid shell on the user's head.

Abstract: Woven hats and methods for manufacturing woven hats by using an ultrasonic sewing technology without a sewing thread are disclosed. One illustrative method comprises steps such as: cutting a raw material of a hat crown into a plurality of pieces, then bonding such material in pairs using an ultrasonic sewing machine, applying to seam areas a hot-pressing bonding technology of heat-seal adhesive tape, and/or otherwise completing the manufacturing of the hat crown; manufacturing a visor by using a high-frequency hot-pressing technology; manufacturing a sweatband by using a one-time hot-pressing technology; bonding the hat crown, the visor, and the sweatband with an ultrasonic sewing machine; and fixing a rear fastener or a tail belt through rivets. The disclosed technology makes it easier to realize intelligent and automatic reformation of the manufacturing line.

Abstract: Manufacturing of a shoe or a portion of a shoe is enhanced by executing various shoe-manufacturing processes in an automated manner. For example, shoe parts may be retrieved and temporarily assembled according to preset relative positions to form part stacks. The part stacks may be retrieved with the relative positioning of the shoe parts being maintained and placed at a stitching machine for more permanent attachment via stitching of the parts to form a shoe assembly. Movement during stitching of a conveyance mechanism that transfers the part stack from the stacking surface to the stitching machine and movement of a needle associated with the stitching machine may be controlled by a shared control mechanism such that the movements are synchronized with respect to one another. Vision systems may be leveraged to achieve movement and position information between and at machines and locations.
