Abstract: A lateral rotation apparatus includes a first adjustable frame positioned under a head segment of a person support surface and operable to rotate the head segment of the person support surface to a head tilt angle in the range of about 7 to about 30 degrees relative to a horizontal support plane. A second adjustable frame is positioned under a torso segment of a person support surface and operable to rotate the torso segment of the person support surface to a torso tilt angle that is within a range of about 5 degrees to about 10 degrees less than the head tilt angle. Each of the first adjustable frame and the second adjustable frame includes an upper frame positioned below the person support surface, and a lower frame coupled to and positioned below the upper frame. The upper frame being moveable with respect to the lower frame.

Abstract: A bedsheet retention device includes first and second pairs of formed rings secured by a loop at opposed ends by a strap loop. The first pair of rings are configured to threadingly receive an edge of a bed sheet. The second pair of rings are configured to threadingly receive a free end of a cinching strap. The first and second pairs of rings retain their respective materials when a tension force is applied. A pair of retention devices may be applied to opposed ends of a bedsheet and the cinching strap is tightened to tuck and retain the sides of the bedsheet around a mattress.

Abstract: Travel pillows with anchor mechanisms are disclosed. The travel pillows can including anchor mechanisms with anchor mechanism bodies such as straps. The anchor mechanism bodies can be attached to the travel pillow body, such as to the rear of the travel pillow body, or alternatively can be detachable from the travel pillow body. The anchor mechanisms can also include loops through which the anchor mechanism bodies can pass before reattaching to themselves or attaching to another element such as a cover of the travel pillow body. The anchor mechanism bodies can be placed around a portion of a headrest, such as headrest wings, to prevent or make less likely a user's head and/or body falling forward inadvertently.

First areal outflow regions with air outlet openings and having a first surface area are provided. The air purification unit supplies breathing air to the first areal outflow regions and the breathing air flows out in an outflow direction. Areal boundary devices with a second surface area are provided. The areal boundary devices are arranged opposite the first areal outflow regions such that each first areal outflow region has one of the areal boundary devices positioned opposite thereto at an angle of less than 10°. The second surface area of the areal boundary device corresponds at least to the first surface area of the first areal outflow region. The breathing air region is located between the areal boundary device and the first areal outflow region.

The liquid barrier protective cover includes a first layer formed of a protective material, a second layer formed of a liquid barrier material, and an intermediate layer, which are all fused together at one or more discrete locations. The cover also includes a retention tie connected to at least one of the first layer or the second layer. The retention tie is operable to extend around a first portion of the furniture article such that the retention tie operably anchors the first layer and the second layer to the furniture article. The retention tie is attached to at least one of the first layer or the second layer such that the liquid barrier material of the second layer is held against the first portion of the furniture article.

The apparatus includes an enclosure, a heat source, at least one convectively-heated cooking mechanism, a radiatively-heated cooking mechanism, a first duct, and a second duct. The enclosure is used as a structural base to mount the aforementioned components, and to maintain and regulate temperature fluctuations. The heat source sends hot air through the first duct and the second duct to heat the at least one convectively-heated cooking mechanism. The heat source is also in contact with the radiatively-heated cooking mechanism. A series of tubes within the enclosure provide adequate dispersal of combustible gaseous material, and an ignition starter allows the user to ignite the gas contained within the present invention. Water reaching the front of the water shield flows into a cylindrical member located at the front of the water shield. The cylindrical member is canted with respect to horizontal and cause the water to flow to a side of the chair.

The domestic appliance communication system may periodically receive status information from the domestic appliances owned by a consumer or household and provide updated status information to the consumer, either on demand or via alerts triggered in response to certain events. The movement of the wiper (402) is coupled to the movement of the bowl (400), the wiper (402) being configured to move during the movement of the bowl (400), for at least a part of the movement of the bowl (400) between the waste receiving position and the waste emptied position.

Abstract: There is disclosed a toilet seat transparent elastic cover for preventing a user from a direct contact with a toilet seat. The cover includes mark lines to be aligned ensuring a proper placement of the cover. The cover may include an aperture with two lateral edges and a flap located in front of the aperture. The flap is formed by two lateral perforated lines connecting it to corresponding parts of the cover before the user starts using the cover. The perforated lines are extensions of the two lateral edges, such that when the user places the cover on the toilet seat, tears the perforated lines, and moves the flap forward at a desirable length and downward/upward, the aperture is effectively extended, providing an additional convenience to the user. Optionally extension of the aperture by moving the flap is suggested when seat cover is being placed on a longer size of toilet.

Abstract: A method for mobile robotic floor cleaning devices to have a side brush cover. The cover for the side brush is designed in order to avoid the common issue of entanglement. Entanglement often occurs with the robot's side brush as the robot cleans a given area and the side brush encounters a cord or cable laying on the floor. As the side brush spins the cable or cord becomes wrapped around the side brush disabling the unit entirely until the user physically detangles the cord and unit. This invention seeks to remedy this issue by adding a barrier between the side brush and any objects.
