Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a solid formulation comprising a milled carotenoid, at least one hydrocolloid, a glucose syrup, sucrose and at least one water-soluble antioxidant (preferably sodium ascorbate), wherein the carotenoid is selected from the group consisting of lutein and zeaxanthin and any mixture thereof, wherein the hydrocolloid is selected from the group consisting of modified food starches and any mixtures thereof, and wherein the milled carotenoid has the following particle size distribution: D [3, 2] in the range of from 0.6 to 1.5 ?m and D [v, 0.5] in the range of from 1.1 to 3.5 ?m, all D values as measured by laser diffraction (Malvern Instruments Ltd, Malvern, UK, Mastersizer 3000) according to the Fraunhofer scattering model. This solid formulation is in form of granules which are used for dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals, such as e.g. multi-vitamin and/or multi-mineral tablets. The seasoning-dispensing system includes a plurality of vessels, a dispersion nozzle, and a conduit coupled to the dispersion nozzle. Each vessel contains one of a plurality of seasonings. The vessels are in selective communication with the conduit. The sauce-dispensing system includes a plurality of sauce reservoirs, a scanning head, and a plurality of tubes. Each sauce reservoirs contains one of a plurality of sauces. The scanning head includes openings each coupled with one of the sauce reservoirs via one of the tubes. The conveyance system transports a foodstuff between a seasoning position in which the foodstuff is disposed below the dispersion nozzle and a sauce position in which the foodstuff is disposed below the openings. The scanning head is movable to dispense one or more sauces onto the foodstuff.

An IPSS may comprise modules including feedstock mixing, enhanced feedstock splitting, insect feeding, insect breeding, insect collection, insect grinding, pathogen removal, multifunctional flour mixing, liquid mixing, shaping, cooking, flavoring, biocatalyst mixing, exoskeleton separation, liquid separation, and lipid extraction. Abstract: A smoking bowl for a water pipe comprised of a conical smoking chamber with a wide bottom aperture. The stem is inserted in a water pipe. At the base of the conical chamber is a narrow horizontal slit where a solid thin flat grate is inserted. When the grate is inserted it partially obscures the chamber's bottom aperture. A combustible material is placed in the chamber, with the grate engaged, and the material is smoked through the attached water pipe. When done smoking the grate is released from the chamber and the spent ash and resin is transmitted through the stem into the water pipe. The force of equalizing air pressure assists the transmittal of ash and resin. This action allows for heavy usage of the bowl before resin build up negatively affects the operation of this device.

The pneumatic system includes a solenoid valve having an open state that causes air to flow through the electronic smoking article. The solenoid valve has a closed state that prevents air flow through the electronic smoking article. An infrared camera is disposed over the viewing window. The infrared camera is configured to measure a wire temperature of a heating element wire of the electronic smoking article.

Abstract: A porous sintered body with an electrically conductive coating is provided. The sintered body has an open porosity in a range from 10 to 90%. The electrically conductive coating is bonded to the surface of the pores and is part of a heating device in a vaporizer. The electrically conductive coating lines the pores located in the interior of the sintered body so that when the sintered body is electrically connected and a current is applied, the current flows at least partially through the interior of the sintered body so that the interior of the sintered body is heated. A method for producing a porous sintered body with an electrically conductive coating is also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a conductive substrate useful for Joule heating, such as in an electronic smoking article. Particularly, the invention provides a resistive heating element formed of a conductive substrate. The conductive substrate comprises an electrically conductive material and a carbonaceous additive, such as a binder material. The conductive substrate is carbonized in that it is subjected to calcining conditions to effectively reduce the carbonaceous additive to its carbon skeleton. It has been found that such carbonized substrate has surprisingly improved resistance properties in relation a substrate of the same formulation that is not carbonized. The carbonized substrate can include an aerosol precursor material. The formed resistive heating element can be included in an electronic smoking article to simultaneously provide resistive heating and aerosol formation with a single, unitary component.

The method includes adjusting an orientation of the series of image frames based on the spatial position data. Thus, the orientation of the series of image frames is level with an orientation of the scene. The method includes identifying a target vehicle and calculating a speed of the target vehicle based on a rate of change of a position of the target vehicle. Further, the method includes controlling an output device and/or the motorcycle based on the speed of the target vehicle and the rate of change.

Abstract: A shopping basket includes a main basket body configured to store a product therein and a bottom part attached to the main basket body to open and close a lower opening of the main basket body. When the bottom part closes the lower opening, the main basket body and the bottom part constitute an internal space which is surrounded by the main basket body and the bottom part and which communicates with the upper opening and the lower opening, and allow the internal space to store the product therein. When the bottom part opens the lower opening, the lower opening allows the product to be taken out of the internal space through the lower opening. When moving a product to a container, a user is not required to lift and take out the products one by one from an upper opening of the shopping basket.
