Abstract: A hair styling appliance includes first and second heating plates operatively connected for pivotal displacement relative to one another such that a hair segment positioned between them can be styled. A glide-speed sensing system generates an output having a relation to a speed with which the hair segment is displaced relative to the first and second heating plates. A glide-speed indicating system can communicate feedback to a user, based on the output, such as an indication of a glide speed of the hair styling appliance relative to the associated hair segment. A user input device can receive an input from the user regarding a hair-type classification and/or a hair-condition classification and generate a hair-related output having a relation to the input from the user.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a heating plate for an electric hair iron and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a heating plate for an electric hair iron having a soft synthetic resin inserted therein, wherein an aluminum heating plate having a plurality of grooves formed in a longitudinal direction on the front surface is ejected and the soft synthetic resin is inserted into the front surface and both sides of the aluminum heating plate which is in a state of being inserted into a mold such that part of the soft synthetic resin is insertedly integrated into the grooves. The soft synthetic resin is injected from the rear of the aluminum heating plate to the front surface thereof when injecting the soft synthetic resin such that a uniformly even soft synthetic resin layer is formed without generation of bubbles on the front surface by injecting.

At least the bottom portion of the inside lining includes a velvet material that forms a gripping portion. The elastic outside and the inside lining provide an elastic headband.

The hair drying device includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, a power component, a heating element coupled to the power component, an audio component configured to receive audio input and convert the audio input into audio data, a controller in communication with the heating element and the audio component, and a memory configured to store instructions executable by the controller. The instructions, when executed by the controller, are operable to receive the audio data from the audio component, determine that the audio data corresponds to a style setting, and adjust the energy provided by the power component to increase or decrease the heat emitted by the heating element based on the style setting.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a hairstyling comb with fluid reservoir. The comb provides a small internal fluid reservoir, sealed by an endcap, for uniform application of fluid through small apertures between the teeth of the comb. A large aperture is also provided next to the handle, and a cleaning brush is further provided, allowing the user to easily rinse out the reservoir, dry the reservoir with an air hose, and thus prepare the comb for use with a different styling fluid. When the comb is not in use, the cleaning brush may be easily stored within the reservoir.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for epilation, based on the concept of an element with an interchangeable head, which, in a first case, allows the installation of a head that dispenses wax for epilation, while in a second case, it allows the installation of a head that dispenses paper for hair removal, in other words, when the device is in use, it allows the user to dispense wax on the area from which hair is to be removed, and then simply switch the head to supply the paper and thus remove the hair easily, quickly, and adequately, without requiring multiple devices.

Abstract: There is provided herein a tip for a cosmetic eyeliner allowing for the convenient and accurate application of cosmetic eyeliner. The tip comprises a generally elongate cosmetic impregnated or coated body shaped to define a nib at a distal end thereof. The nib is of generally triangular cross-section along an elongate axis of the tip so as to define two lateral faces meeting at a rearward edge thereof and a forward face between the lateral faces. The forward facing and the two lateral faces meet at a point at a distal end of the nib. As such, in use, the tip allows for the convenient application of eyeliner cosmetic wherein the forward face is configured for stamping a cosmetic wing shape and an outer edge of an eye when the nib is in a first angle of rotation.

A segmented seam joins the cushion assembly and the sheet of polypropylene fabric around each of the mini coil springs of the pocketed spring comfort layer. The method of making the pocketed spring comfort layer includes compressing the mini coil springs and creating pockets with a welding horn and an anvil.
