Abstract: Aspects herein provide for a method of manufacturing a vented insulated garment using non-woven polymer sheets and garments produced therefrom. The method generally comprises providing a non-woven polymer sheet having one or more voided portions, positioning the sheet between two textile layers, and bonding the textile layers together at areas corresponding to the voided portions in the non-woven polymer sheet to form a seam. The seam may be optionally perforated.

Abstract: A floral arrangement insert comprising: a foam insert; a plurality of tubes arranged and removably secured in the foam insert in a pre-designed configuration; and a plurality of artificial foliage inserted into the foam insert and around the plurality of tubes in a pre-designed configuration. A method of manufacturing a floral arrangement insert comprising: obtaining or preparing a mold; filling the mold with an expandable, curable foam to form a foam insert; inserting a plurality of tubes into the foam in a pre-designed configuration; causing or allowing the foam to cure after insertion of the plurality of tubes; and removing the foam insert from the mold after the foam has cured. The plurality of tubes can be filled with water and an artificial or fresh flower and/or foliage can be inserted into the plurality of tubes to create a beautiful floral piece.

Abstract: Provided are a strand which extends in one direction and includes 30 to 8,000 strands of thermoplastic polymer filaments including an amorphous organic polymer, a semi-crystalline organic polymer, or an alloy thereof, wherein each of the filaments has a fineness of 10 to 100 denier and the filaments are bonded to one another by surface fusion; and a method of preparing the same. Provided also are a weft using the strand, a wet look wig using the same, and a method of preparing the wig. When the strand is used, the filaments thereof may be bonded to one another through thermal surface-fusion using thermal properties of the filaments even without using a conventional water-soluble adhesive (binder), and thus a wet look wig washable with water even when worn by a user may be prepared by a simple and economical method.

The to-be-tried-on apparel includes a measurement area, and the try-on assistant device includes a model suit, an airbag group, an inflating/deflating unit, and a control unit. The model suit includes a simulation part corresponding to the measurement area. The airbag group includes a plurality of airbags, where the airbags are disposed on the simulation part of the model suit. The inflating/deflating unit is configured to separately inflate or deflate the plurality of airbags. The control unit controls, according to an inflating/deflating parameter, the inflating/deflating unit to inflate or deflate some or all of the airbags, where the inflating/deflating parameter corresponds to size information of the measurement area of the to-be-tried-on apparel.

The removable heating pad insert is separable from the cap body, allowing the cap body to be washed by itself without damaging the heating pad insert. The heating pad insert is re-heatable through a microwave, allowing for multiple uses. The cap body contains an insert pocket and an insert opening. The heating pad insert is installed into the insert pocket through the insert pocket. The heating pad insert contains a plurality of heating media compartments, where each of the plurality of heating media compartments contains heating media. This heating media takes the form of microwavable flax seed that absorbs and retains the heat from the microwave.

Abstract: A headwear with an integrated cooling fan is an apparatus that provides cooling relief and shade while preserving a clear view of the surroundings for a user. The apparatus includes a headwear body, at least one centrifugal fan, a microcontroller, and a portable power source. The headwear body is preferably a hat such as a baseball cap or a shade hat and includes a head-bracing portion and a flat protrusion. The at least one centrifugal fan includes inlet and an outlet in order to push air towards the face. The at least one centrifugal fan is mounted onto a second face of the flat protrusion. The at least one centrifugal fan occupies minimal space underneath the flat protrusion. The microcontroller manages the functions of the at least one centrifugal fan. The portable power source provides the necessary power to the at least one centrifugal fan and the microcontroller.

Abstract: Sensor assisted head mounted displays for welding are disclosed. Disclosed example head mounted devices include an optical sensor, an augmented reality controller, a graphics processing unit, and a semi-transparent display. The optical sensor collects an image of a weld environment. The augmented reality controller determines a simulated object to be presented in a field of view, a position in the field of view, and a perspective of the simulated object in the field of view. The graphics processing unit renders the simulated object based on the perspective to represent the simulated object being present in the field of view and in the weld environment. The display presents the rendered simulated object within the field of view based on the position. At least a portion of the weld environment is observable through the display and the lens when the display is presenting the rendered simulated object.

The kinetic energy generator includes a piezoelectric element that receives kinetic energy initiated by a user, a rectifier connected with the piezoelectric element that rectifies voltage from the piezoelectric element, a capacitive system of capacitors formed from different materials connected with the piezoelectric element through the rectifier, a short-range transceiver connected with the capacitive system and activated in response to energy storage in the capacitive system reaching a threshold level, and a non-volatile memory that provides at least some of the data transmitted by the transceiver in response to a request from the transceiver. Below an inflection point, the capacitive system stores more energy than one system of one capacitor type and less energy than another system of another capacitor type arranged in the same manner as the capacitive system, and the reverse above the inflection point.

The base has a first end and a second end, and the one-inch cushiony toe separator is disposed proximate to the first end. Further, the one-inch cushiony toe separator includes a width of one inch. The lateral strap portion and the longitudinal strap portion together are adapted to enclose at least a second bone of the big toe to facilitate an alignment of the second bone.

Abstract: A sandal construction including a sole assembly, an adjustable strap system, and an ankle post extending up from and affixed to the sole in the ankle region. The ankle post includes three slots arranged in a generally triangular configuration. The strap system includes a strap, a portion of which is threaded through the slots in the ankle post and extending behind the heel of a wearer's foot and from the ankle region into the forefoot region. The strap is folded as it passes between two slots to control the orientation of the strap portions and to allow deliberate adjustment of the strap, but resist unintentional movement of the strap. The strap is selectively moveable through the slots to loosen and tighten the strap through both the ankle and forefoot regions to adjust the fit of the sandal to the wearer's foot.

The present invention allows for variety in the combining and re-arranging of individual strands in any desired order, by the use of end couplers on the ends of each strand and one or more connector pairs disposed on one or more of strands. This allows for the creation of customized layered jewelry pieces that can be adjusted to suit a variety of styles. The design of the present invention allows for the use of singular strands to form into a layered jewelry piece that is distinctively presented in a symmetrical, cascading arrangement, which moves uniformly as one piece with the weight of gravity, virtually eliminating the risk of tangling.

The article comprises a gem, such as a brilliant cut diamond, and one or more light sources. A device is Incorporated in the article of jewelry for the purpose of amplifying the light so as to enhance the appearance of the gemstone. This is accomplished by channeling ambient light through, for example, an optical fiber into the gemstone. The ambient light is amplified using a lens in order to make the gem appear more brilliant which drives additional light into the gem to enhance the natural optical effects of the gem.

With such design, the backpack assembly could be engaged with different bag bodies with different functions, different capacities, or different sizes.
