Abstract: Described herein is a method for making colored hydrogel-based materials, and products relating thereto. The method includes applying an aqueous colorant composition comprising water and a colorant material to an external surface of a plurality of hydrogel-based materials. The aqueous colorant composition comprises less than 25% (v/v) of an aqueous miscible co-solvent. The hydrogel-based materials comprise a hydrogel matrix encapsulating an active ingredient composition, such as a flavor or fragrance composition. The aqueous colorant composition and the hydrogel-based materials are mixed for a sufficient duration of time to allow substantially all of the aqueous colorant composition to be absorbed into the hydrogel matrix. Optionally, the colored hydrogel-based materials may be dried to remove at least a portion of the water absorbed into the hydrogel matrix thereby leaving the colorant material therein.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for mixing and processing sprouted whole grain mixture. More particularly, the method includes sprouting whole grains such as brown rice, wheat, barley, oat, Sorghum, etc., and mixing and processing the sprouted whole grains at a time. The mixing and processing process of the whole grains include: (i) steaming the sprouted whole grains to gelatinize the same (in ? state); (ii) primary drying; (iii) milling; (iv) baking; and (v) secondary drying of the whole grains. The whole grains according to the present invention maintain gelatinization of starch (in ? state), thereby providing soft texture. Further, the whole grains are sugar-free and additive-free while minimizing loss of physiological active ingredients such as dietary fiber, GABA, etc., thereby being helpful in preventing adult disease and promoting health.

Abstract: An oral dissolving film including a Synsepalum Dulcificum coating. This film may be for the purpose of changing a user's taste buds, by altering the taste of sour or bitter items into a sweet tasting item. Giving the user another alternative option for ingesting the Synsepalum Dulcificum substance for the desired reaction. This alternative option is an easier and safer way for ingesting the Synsepalun Dulcificum substance, compared to the Synsepalum Dulcificum pill form. For the Synsepalum Dulcificum substance to alter a user's taste buds, the substance must be allowed to coat the user's tongue. By coating or infusing an oral dissolving film with Synsepalum Dulcificum it will give a user the ability to place the substance directly on a larger portion of the user's tongue.
