  • Patent number: 8584582
Abstract: A lid construction is described for compression of the content of a container, where a body in connection to the lid of the container is set up to create a pressure down onto the content such that it is compressed. It is characterized in that it comprises a moment arm construction which on rotation is set up to push the element down to its active position, and to be pulled up to its passive, rest position. The moment arm construction is preferably integrated in the lid, and it comprises compacting a relatively longer arm part (40a,40b) which is firmly connected to the relatively shorter arm part (48a,48b), and where the moment arm is rotary mounted in the lid. Also described is a construction of a docking station for a waste container and where the lid construction is integrated. Application of the inventions is also described.

  • Patent number: 8505448
Abstract: An improved structure of trashcan includes an outer can with a controllable upper cover. The upper cover has a connecting hole with a stepping part that moves downward in the outer can when being stepped. A base is at the bottom of the upper cover. First, second, third, and fourth tracks surround the stepping part at symmetrical positions of the base. Each track accommodates a restoring assembly that connects to the stepping part so that the stepping part can restore its original position after the stepping part moves to the bottom of the trashcan. The first track and the second track are stacked vertically. The third track and the fourth track are also stacked vertically. This configuration decreases the area occupied by the base. As a result, the stepping area of the stepping part is increased for the user's convenience to step on.
