Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for actuating of processing machines like metal forming machines and method, control and application of an apparatus for actuating said metal forming machines. The processing machine is driven by at least two rams with pressurized fluid, like water, whereas the rams are actuated by variable pumps with different fluid under pressure, e.g. hydraulic liquid.
Abstract: A high pressure pump includes a pump housing. A piston rod located within the pump housing defines a plurality of pump cavities and a plurality of piston cavities. Movement of the piston within the piston cylinder pumps the fluid from the piston cavities out of the high pressure pump. The continuous pumping of HWBF from the pump housing provides fluid at a relatively constant flow and pressure. The HWBF pressure is also at a higher pressure than traditional single stage high pressure pumps can provide.

Abstract: A cylinder unit for mounting on a machine for the deformation of workpieces includes a cylinder block and a pressure plate which is arranged on the surface of the cylinder block which faces away from the fastening surface, wherein a plurality of pistons each having a spherically shaped head are mounted in the cylinder block. Mounted on each spherically shaped head of the pistons is a pressure piece which protrudes into a bore of the pressure plate and has a recess corresponding to the spherically shaped head of the pistons. A gap is provided between the outer diameter of the pressure piece and the inner diameter of the bore in the pressure plate. A pressure disc is arranged between the pressure piece and the pressure plate in the bottom of the bore of the pressure plate.
Abstract: A portable apparatus for fabricating or repairing trusses, rafters, joints, and splices by pressing the barbs of a barbed connector plate into the lumber to be joined or spliced.
Abstract: A drive system for the container holder and the travelling beam of a metal extruder press in which a return stroke is accelerated by connecting the annular chambers of the travelling beam and container holder cylinders to a pressurization force and with the full piston area chambers of the container holder connected to a tank, connecting the full piston area chambers of the travelling beam to the pressure source as well.
Abstract: A press has a fixed platen, a movable platen displaceable toward and away from the fixed platen, a plurality of low-pressure cylinders braced against the movable platen and pressurizable to move it toward the fixed platen, and a plurality of medium-pressure cylinders braced against the movable platen and pressurizable to move it toward the fixed platen. A low-pressure accumulator holding a body of hydraulic fluid and a head of nitrogen and a medium-pressure accumulator holding a body of hydraulic fluid and a head of nitrogen are connected via respective conduits with the low- and medium-pressure cylinders. a nitrogen supply connects the accumulators above the respective fluid bodies together in a closed system. A controller feeds the fluid therefrom to the respective cylinders.
Abstract: An improved top die raising and lowering guide mechanism for punching, pressing, and shearing machines having three hydraulic cylinder sets installed in a triangular configuration and, furthermore, three piston rod sets conjoined to an attachment mount to which is mounted a top die that is thereby guided during ascent and descent to execute punching, pressing, and shearing operations. The innovation of the present invention is that the top and bottom ends of the triangularly arranged three hydraulic cylinder sets are interconnected such that when a hydraulic system conveys hydraulic fluid to and from the top and bottom ends, the piston rods are simultaneously raised or lowered.
Abstract: .hsc A waste bale press of horizontal construction used for manufacturing bound bales of predominantly organic waste materials, such as paper, cardboard, wood boxes or other used packaging materials includes a press shaft with a filling shaft in front of the press shaft and a drive portion arranged in front of the filling shaft. The drive portion includes two hydraulic cylinders which are arranged so as to intersect in the basic position thereof and whose free piston rod ends act on the press plate. The ends of the hydraulic cylinders are connected in an articulated manner on brackets or the like located laterally of the press housing outside of the parallel limiting walls of the press housing in the most rearward part of the drive portion.
