A lower press plate includes a receiving surface upon which the stack is positioned and first and second guide members, with the receiving surface being tilted with respect to a level plane such that the stack tends to move on the receiving surface towards the two guide members. With the stack positioned so that first and second edges of the stack are resting against the respective first and second guide members, a user can assemble and manipulate the stack with the guide members maintaining the stack components in a proper alignment relative to one another.

The edges of the label-bearing seat are formed with guide flanges extending into slanting guide slots of a base. Furthermore, the label-bearing seat is centrally provided with a circular through hole having guide slots or guide tracks on its edges. A circular receiving seat has a guide track or guide groove that matches the circular through hole and presses against a central elastic element on the lower base. The receiving seat can be slidably inserted into the through hole. An adhesive-backed annular label can be placed reversely on the label-bearing seat, and a compact disk or an optical disk can be placed reversely on the receiving seat. When the receiving seat is pressed to displace downwardly, the disk will adhere to the label.

The upper portion, the converger, is only one-half the height of the lower portion, the chute, to prevent overbalancing. The chute is polyethylene, of which the disposer is made, is reinforced at discrete locations, the converging edges and the bottom edge, of plastic of the same type from which the disposer is made to keep the disposer light in weight, yet strong. A folding metal frame supports the disposer at bag height.
