Abstract: The present invention relates to a wooden material panel, in particular a wood-plastic composite material, including particles of wood and at least one plastic that is functionalized with at least one organic compound. At least one decorative layer is provided on at least one side of the wooden material panel.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for treating a plastic and/or paper waste material having steps including collecting a plastic and/or paper waste material, preferably paper, and highly preferably a release coated cellulose or polymeric sheet material. The material already includes a selected new-use additive preferably selected from flame retardant, hydrophobic material, pesticide, herbicides, minerals, nutrients, and/or mixtures thereof. The method includes the step of preparing the collected material by mixing, separating foreign bodies like metals, etc., and feeding it to a grinding station. The method also includes the step of, in one or several grinding stations, shredding and grinding the materials into small pieces.
Abstract: A compacting press, in particular for waste paper in offices, has a small footprint and a high pressing density. The press ram is disposed in the vertical direction above a pressed part container. Disposed between a shaping chamber and the pressed part container is a closure slide which can move backwards and forwards in the horizontal direction to close the shaping chamber in the pressing position. The pressed part container is removably arranged on one side of the frame of the hydraulically driven compacting press and takes the form of a rolling container which can hold a plurality of pressed parts and is provided with rollers. The base surface of the container corresponds approximately to the footprint of the compacting press.
Abstract: An apparatus for forming paper blocks installable in offices to form paper blocks out of office-use paper such as computer printer paper, etc. including a treatment chamber, paper feeder and an adhesive apply device. Used and waste paper is fed into the treatment chamber by the paper feeder while being coated with adhesives by the adhesive apply device, and inside the treatment chamber, the paper with the adhesives coated thereon are pressed by a pusher or by air against the bottom of the chamber, thus forming firm paper blocks solidified by the adhesives.
Abstract: An apparatus for shredding paper and the like and compacting the paper into a disposable cylindrical roll. The apparatus includes a pair of cooperating roller cutters mounted in a housing to cut the paper into elongate strips. The paper is compacted into cylindrical rolls by rotatably driven cylinder end wheels and a plurality of compacting rollers disposed about the circumference of the drum. The compacting rollers are rotatably driven in a direction opposite that of the end wheel. The compacted cylindrical roll is formed in a compacting zone defined by the rollers and end wheels. The apparatus can also compact paper without shredding. To allow for this function the housing has a paper feed opening that bypasses the roller cutters introducing the paper directly to the compacting zone.
