Abstract: A dual purpose garment is wearable as a neck scarf accessory or as an outer protective garment covering at least a portion of the shoulders and arms. First and second arm-covering sections extend equally from a centrally located section of the garment, wherein the centrally located section and arm-covering sections can protect the shoulders and arms when worn in an outer protective garment configuration. However, the arm-covering sections extend only to end sections which remain open in a neck scarf accessory configuration to allow the garment to resemble an ordinary neck scarf.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for contacting a flexible sheet to a first element with improved lateral alignment. The method includes a step of measuring a first lateral misalignment after establishing a first contact between the flexible sheet and either of the first element and a sheet parking surface called anchor in the first stage. If the 5 misalignment exceeds a predetermined threshold the flexible sheet is parked at the anchor such that it is not in contact with the first element, and the relative position of the first element and the anchor is altered during the second stage for correcting the mismatch during a contact between the flexible sheet and the first element to be established within the next step of the method. During the steps of shifting the contact point to obtain the second stage 10 the contacting process is more accurate and reproducible than the process for establishing the initial contact.

Abstract: With the method according to the invention for producing a printing plate, in particular for flexoprinting, a layer of a curable elastomer is applied to a carrier (15) with a cylindrical surface area (26), subsequently the elastomer layer is cured to an essentially cylindrical endless printing form blank and possibly ground to a cylindrical peripheral form or processed otherwise, and afterwards the printing form blank (33) is separated along a line which is essentially parallel to the axial direction of the carrier and the printing plate produced in such a manner.

Abstract: A device for applying pressure to a pressure sensitive duplicating master and a sheet of copy paper positioned on a hard surface includes two rollers of differing hardness. The rollers are used simultaneously with the harder roller applying substantial duplicating pressure while the softer roller conforms to irregularities in the hard surface and prevents these irregularities from causing voids in the duplicated image.
