Abstract: A distribution drive for a roll in a processing machine, and particularly in a press which has an improved axial motion distribution mechanism and which requires little installation space. This is achieved by an input drive mechanism coupled to a drive having at least one pinion gear 8 which is coupled to a gear 10. Arranged on a side face of the gear 10 is a first pin 17 which, together with a second pin 22, forms a rotary joint 20 by the first pin 17 penetrating the second pin 22. Together with a bearing arm 23, the second pin 22 forms a sliding joint 21, with the second pin 22 being accommodated at the ends in the bearing arm 23, and the bearing arm 23 being coupled to the roll 3.
Abstract: An offset printing method comprises the steps of: a process for suspending a sheet-shaped or belt-shaped blanket by supporting both ends thereof at the leading and trailing ends thereof in the printing direction; and a process for performing ink reception from a plate to the blanket and also transferring ink from the blanket to a work, by pressing the blanket by a pressuring jig from an upwards direction down onto a plate or work situated below and sweeping in the printing direction. An offset printing apparatus is configured so as to carry out this method.
Abstract: The invention provides a fibre reinforced composite, such as a glass-fibre composite in which one or more layers (4) carry an image or design. The image or is preferably printed onto one or more layers (4) of the composite which are then formed into the article required. By utilising the fibre reinforcement to carry the image or design, it is possible to create articles with complex curved surfaces having an image as part of the structure and without using a foreign layer to carry the image.
Abstract: A printing machine of offset type for compact discs comprises at least one printing cylinder for at least one color driven with uniform rotary motion and a chain conveyor driven with intermittent motion for feeding the objects to be printed.
Abstract: A printing machine for performing flat-bed printing having a printing form with hydrophobic and hydrophilic area thereon corresponding to an image to be printed, and a device for electrochemically converting, respective areas thereof for producing a printing copy from the hydrophobic into the hydrophilic state by means of a current-conduction arrangement, including a fluid applicator for applying a hydrophobic fluid full-surface to a surface of the printing form, and a control device for controlling the current-conduction arrangement for forming appropriate current paths and for electrochemically removing the hydrophobic fluid area-by-area in accordance with the hydrophilic areas required for the image to be printed; and a method of operation thereof.
Abstract: A flat-bed press having a carriage (4) which includes an ink roller (7) and a blanket (5), and which is adapted to be moved on a press body frame (1) provided with an inking unit (3) at at least one end thereof, characterized in that the press body frame (1) is provided therein with a table (10) on which the materials (12) to be printed are placed, a feed head (21) having suckers (22) for retaining thereon a material (12) to be printed, and a transfer means (23) for moving the feed head (21) and carrying the material (12) to be printed which is retained on the suckers (22) to a paper bed (9).
Abstract: In a method of multi-color offset printing each of a plurality of blankets is contacted with respective printing plates corresponding to each color of the blankets to transfer their respective colors to each of the blankets. Then, each of the blankets is contacted with respective preceding printing plates whose colors are respectively printed prior to that of each of the blankets for transferring color ink of the respective preceding color printing plates to each of the blankets. Next, each of the blankets is pressed in the predetermined order onto a sheet of printing paper to transfer each color ink to the printing paper one after one another.
