Wheel Rotor Patents (Class 105/53)
  • Patent number: 9738150
Abstract: An energy efficient vehicle and a disc-type dynamic motor thereof are disclosed. The vehicle comprises front wheels and rear wheels, and a gasoline engine is assembled in the vehicle for driving a generator producing power. The power is transported to a capacitor battery via a circuit control system and then to disc-type dynamic motors, which are assembled with the rear wheels, from the capacitor battery via two power lines respectively, whereby the disc-type dynamic motors directly driving the vehicle travelling at high-speed and high torque via the wheels. Accordingly, the energy efficient vehicle does not include transmission devices, such as the clutch, the transmission, the power transmission shaft, and the differential. The power produced by the generator is directly provided to the disc-type dynamic motors to drive the vehicle travelling and is enough to drive the disc-type dynamic motors, so the vehicle does not need to stop for charging.

Abstract: A wind turbine generator comprising a rotor, a stator and an air gap between a gap-delimiting region of the stator and a gap-delimiting region of the rotor; wherein the rotor and/or the stator are deformable under operational loads and configured in such a way that the air gap resulting from the presence of operational loads is more uniform than the air gap in the absence of operational loads. A method for optimizing an air gap between a gap-delimiting region of a stator and a gap-delimiting region of a rotor of a wind turbine generator, said rotor and/or said stator being deformable under operational loads and said optimization consisting in that the air gap resulting from the presence of the set of operational loads is more uniform than the air gap in the absence of the set of operational loads.

  • Patent number: 9419497
Abstract: Provided is a double-rotor type motor including: a stator; a double-rotor that is positioned at a certain gap on an outer surface and an inner surface of the stator; a rotor support on which the double-rotor is integrally formed and a plurality of air passages are radially penetratively formed; and a heat dissipation unit that is integrally formed with the rotor support and that forcibly ventilates outer air into the air passages during rotation of the rotor, to thereby dissipate heat generated from the stator. Thus, outer air may be forcibly ventilated to the stator, to thereby improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the stator.

  • Patent number: 6276280
Abstract: An elevated toy train track is formed from multiple platform sections (12, 14, 16, 18) and a stabilizing ring (48) that are attachable together to form a ring-like structure (10). Each platform section has at least two lateral sides (34, 36), where one lateral side (34) has ridges (42) and the other lateral side (36) has slots (46). During assembly, the ridges (42) on one platform section are placed in snug engagement with complementary slots (46) of an adjacent platform section, until all platform sections are joined together. The stabilizing ring (48) is attached, using threaded fasteners (60), to the joined platform sections (12, 14, 16, 18) to form the ring-like structure (10). A train track (20) is attached to the ring-like structure, or can be integrally molded to the platform sections. The structure is attachable to the central pole (64, 66) of a Christmas tree, thus providing an elevated toy train track.

  • Patent number: 6198196
Abstract: An electrical machine with a discoidal structure comprising rotor and stator discs disposed coaxially and having at least two axial air gaps between the rotor and stator discs. The widths of the axial air gaps are measured and sent to a control unit for being compared so that an offset signal can be generated based on the difference between the widths of the axial air gaps. The offset signal is supplied to a drive module for driving a balancing means in order to cancel an axial magnetic force exerted on either the rotor or stator discs.
