Abstract: A heat exchanger having a housing for retaining a coil bundle, wherein the housing includes a first and second movable end for contacting one housing end with one end of the coil bundle and the remaining housing end with the second end of the coil bundle. The housing includes a sliding seal between the movable ends to permit relative motion between the ends while maintaining a sealed relation therebetween. Each movable end includes an aperture and a corresponding fastener for engaging the adjacent portion of the coil bundle to draw the coiled bundle against the respective end, thereby permitting removal of one end of the housing upon removal of a single fastener.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling a carrier which is used to carry a flight vehicle, the method including (a) providing a carrier and a control system mounted on a lower side thereof; (b) sending a signal to a flight vehicle to decrease a velocity thereof for landing; (c) sensing a flight direction of the flight vehicle and instantaneous velocities thereof; and (d) accelerating the carrier to catch up with the flight vehicle at a location therebeneath and adjusting the velocity of the carrier to match with that of the flight vehicle such that the flight vehicle is able to smoothly land so as to be supported on a top surface of the carrier.

Abstract: Assembly comprising a vehicle movable on rails and a support for the vehicle, wherein at least the lower part of the vehicle is situated under the geometric tangent plane below the wheels. The support is shaped in such a way to provide an empty space suitable for housing the lower part of the vehicle which is located under the geometric plane.
