  • Patent number: 11261347
Abstract: An automotive wax emulsion created by a unique cold, reverse, water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion process is described herein. The emulsion is created at room temperatures under high shear in minutes. The formulation can carry various abrasive materials, shine enhancement actives, wax and lubrication components without preservatives. The formulation provides for an emulsion with unique “Quick-Break” type characteristics. When applied by hand, the emulsion breaks upon friction with the contact surface releasing the oil-soluble actives in a controlled manner that eliminates the need for electric or pneumatic machine buffing.

  • Patent number: 11172803
Abstract: A nonwoven sheet, having a first outwardly facing surface and a second outwardly facing surface. Wax is disposed in a wax pattern on the first surface; and oil is disposed in an oil pattern on the second surface. The oil pattern is not coincident the wax pattern so that wax blocks the oil from permeating through to the first surface. The first surface may be textured with peaks and valleys, having wax disposed on the peaks. This arrangement keeps the oil from contacting the target surface and leaving residue, while allowing the oil to collect and retain debris. The sheet may be executed as a dry sheet for cleaning surfaces such as floors or as a duster.

  • Patent number: 10896997
Abstract: The present invention discloses a light-diffusion quantum dot nanostructure and an LED component having the same. The quantum dot nanostructure comprises an optical core, an organic ligand layer, a hydrophobic layer, an inorganic encapsulation layer, and a multi-layered water vapor barrier layer. In the present invention, the multi-layered water vapor barrier layer is particularly designed to an onion skin-like structure, so as to facilitate photoluminescence rays radiated from the optical core can emit out of the barrier layer via voids or pores of the onion skin-like structure, such that the uniformity of the spatial light output distribution of the LED component having the quantum dot nanostructures can be obviously enhanced. On the other hand, because the multi-layered water vapor barrier layer can also improve the dispersibility of the light-diffusion quantum dot nanostructures in a colloidal encapsulation of the LED component, the luminous intensity of the LED component is therefore increased.

  • Patent number: 7700159
Abstract: There is provided a hydrophilizable wax composition which provides a wax coating layer having a hydrophilic surface and imparts a gloss and long-lasting stain-proofing property on a substrate. The hydrophilizable wax composition can form a hydrophilizable wax coating layer by applying the composition containing a hydrophilizing agent and wax component and wiping off the composition, in which the hydrophilizing agent has hydrolyzable groups which are converted into hydrophilic groups by hydrolysis in the presence of water and are condensed to enable the hydrophilizing agent to have a high molecular weight and is, for example, an organometallic compound having a releasable group by hydrolysis, its oligomer and/or a co-oligomer comprising two or more of the compounds.
