Abstract: A pitching training device comprises a typical baseball with raised pitching training structure on top of the stitches on the seam. The pitching training structure is able to be an additional layer of stitches on top of the typical stitches of a baseball. The pitching training structure provides a finger rest area allowing a user to spin the baseball more easily at a breaking ball pitching release.

Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus configured to be battery-powered and to display a visual program received from the outside is provided. The portable electronic apparatus has a receiver configured to receive EPG data related to the program, a battery power estimator configured to estimate remaining battery power, an image processor configured to process an image included in the program by using a plurality of functions of image quality control, and a controller configured to set how to use each of the functions by means of the image processor. The controller is configured to estimate battery lasting time on the basis of the remaining battery power, a setting of the use of the functions and the EPG data. The controller is configured to update the setting of the use of the functions upon judging the remaining battery power to be short of enough to display the program to the end.

Abstract: The prevention invention relates to a moxa holder support and a moxibustion device comprising the same, and more particularly, to a moxa holder support which provides comfort to a patient receiving moxibustion, and to a moxibustion device in which the temperature of part of a human body, to which moxibustion is applied, can be easily controlled according to the characteristics of the related organ of the human body. When receiving moxibustion using the moxa holder support according to the present invention, a patient can feel comfortable because part of the patient's skin to which moxibustion is applied comes into contact with the leather connected to the bottom of a main body of the moxa holder support and the texture of pig skin, cow skin or sheep skin used as the leather in the present invention is similar to that of human skin.

Abstract: A basic flatbed sewing machine is converted to provide an elevated sewing surface at a sewing station which is configured to receive the rim of a molded sole for sewing attachment with an upper. The top feed of the machine performs in conjunction with the elevated sewing surface and a material advancing component of a modified feed dog advances the sole at the surface opposite the rim. Thread breakage is avoided through utilization of a thread sequestration channel extending from the feed dog to a needle receiving opening adjacent the elevated sewing surface.

Abstract: An overcasting machine for use in sewing mated insoles to uppers with gathering of the uppers relative to the insoles is disclosed wherein a step-wise driven advance disk engages the uppers and an undriven pressure disk engages the insoles at a nip area between the disks, which are spring-loaded towards each other. The advance disk drives the material of the uppers which in turn at least in part drives the material of the insoles in an advance direction during sewing. A blade is provided which extends into the nip area between the advance and the pressure disks in order to slightly separate the uppers from the insoles so that mutual slippage between them and resulting gathering of the uppers is made possible.
