With Stitch Counter Patents (Class 112/470.02)
  • Publication number: 20150045939
Abstract: A stitchwork status checking apparatus includes a stitchwork data receiver unit that receives stitchwork data on a stitchwork pattern selected and currently stitched by a sewing machine, a converter unit that converts the received stitchwork data into a unique code, a status data receiver unit that receives a unique code converted based on the stitchwork data currently stitched by the sewing machine, and a code comparator unit that compares a code converted by the converter unit with a code received by the status data receiver unit. The stitchwork data receiver unit receives the stitchwork data through a transmission protocol that surely transmits data to a transmission destination. The status data receiver unit receives the code through a transmission protocol that transmits data to a transmission destination within a short time.

  • Publication number: 20150040810
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a temporal memory that stores stitchwork data currently stitched, and a first CRC data converter unit that converts the stitchwork data into unique codes. A stitchwork status checking apparatus includes a temporal memory that stores stitchwork data, a second CRC data converter unit that converts the stitchwork data stored in the local temporal memory into unique codes, and a CRC data converter unit that compares the codes converted by the first CRC data converter unit with the codes converted by the second CRC data converter unit. The stitchwork data stored in the temporal memory of the stitchwork status checking apparatus is the stitchwork data currently stitched by the sewing machine and transferred via a wireless network.

  • Publication number: 20140033960
Abstract: A stitching system is configured to stitch through decorative skins with a molded seam recess representing a seam and includes a sewing machine, an image acquisition mechanism, a controller, and a rotation mechanism. The sewing machine is rotatable with respect to a support table, and includes a sewing head to receive a sewing needle and a sewing foot to selectively engage the skin. The image acquisition mechanism produces an image of the seam recess with respect to the sewing head/needle(s). The controller determines the difference between the actual recess location and a predetermined desired recess location. Based on this difference, the controller determines a sewing machine rotation angle and orientation to reduce the difference to zero, and then produces a corresponding adjustment signal that drives the rotation mechanism. A robot can move either the sewing machine or the workpiece, and still use the herein-described real time steering control.

  • Patent number: 8573145
Abstract: A feed mechanism that advances fabric comprises at least one dog that mechanically advances the fabric toward a sewing head and at least one actuator that is coupled to and actuates the at least one dog in a servo controlled motion so that the sewing head sews the fabric at a desirable position.

  • Patent number: 8042479
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a detection device that detects whether a feed distance by which the piece of work cloth is shifted by a feed dog in the back-and-forth or right-and-left direction has reached a predetermined distance, a counting device that counts a number of forward feed stitches and a number of backward feed stitches which are sewn when the piece of work cloth is shifted backward and forward, respectively, by the predetermined feed distance detected by the detection device or a number of leftward feed stitches and a number of rightward feed stitches which are sewn when the piece of work cloth is shifted leftward and rightward, respectively, by the predetermined feed distance, and a correction value setting device that sets a correction value to correct the feed distance based on a result of the counting of the number of stitches by the counting device.

  • Publication number: 20110203504
Abstract: A multi-needle sewing machine includes a plurality of needle bars having lower ends to which needles are attached, respectively, a needle bar selecting unit selectively switching one of the needle bars to a needle location, a stitch number obtaining unit and an allotting unit. An embroidery pattern including a plurality of partial patterns is sewn by the use of needle threads of colors differing per partial pattern, while the needle bars are selectively switched. The stitch number obtaining unit obtains the number of stitches necessary for sewing the partial patterns for every partial pattern. The allotting unit allots the needle threads to the needle bars so that the needle bars are prevented from being one-sided in the number of stitches, based on the obtained number of stitches, in order that one of the needle bars to be used for the sewing of each partial pattern may be determined.

  • Patent number: 6405097
Abstract: An operation data processing device that summarizes trouble situations that occur during sewing operations. A log data storing device generates and stores log data based on an operation state of pattern sewing machines. A trouble summarizing device summarizes trouble information that occurs during operations. The trouble information is then summarized in association with a stitch number based on the stored log data. A displaying device visualizes the trouble information in a manner that allows a user to easily determine a trouble location and frequency for a given sewing pattern.
