Abstract: An assembly has a base, a support, a cord, a main body, and a random movement article. The support has a first end and a second end, and the first end is attached to the base. The cord is attached to the second end of the support, and the main body is suspended from the support by the cord. The main body includes a fan configured to produce airflow in an airflow direction. The random movement article is secured to the main body and, when the fan is producing airflow, creates random movement of the main body.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for deterring birds from landing in a defined area, for example on maritime vessels, without causing physical damage, said device comprising a vertically positionable rotary actuating shaft whereon a retractably connected pair of rods (3) is arranged at the top by means of a hinged joint, such that said two rods (3) are able to extend horizontally and perpendicularly in relation to the actuating shaft and opposite each other, said actuating shaft (2) being mounted on a support (4) provided with hinge means in the lower part, that can angularly fold down said support (4) in relation to a base body (5). The lower part of said actuating shaft (2) is in contact with a spherical region arranged inside said support (4).
Abstract: An area protection system deters predators/varmint from specific areas, such as vegetable gardens, shrubs, flower beds and the like. The system includes a horn that sounds an alert when the predator/varmint pulls a trip wire that circumscribes the area where protection is desired. The system does not use harmful chemicals or electric shock and does not require an electricity supply or batteries. The system is simple to set-up and maintain. The system can be set up in straight runs, circles, squares, and up and down elevations, making the system versatile.
Abstract: An overload indication device for a lever hoist comprises an operating lever consisting of a main lever and a handle having one end pivoted to the main lever, a spring for normally holding the handle in an aligned position with the main lever, a magnification lever for deforming the spring by the rocking movement of the handle by a force corresponding to an overloading and a warning device for warning of the overloading, such as a buzzer, whistle or colored indicator adapted to be operated when the handle rocks to assume an angular position relative to the main lever.
