Plural Pointers, One Of Which Moves The Other (e.g., Maximum-minimum, Etc.) Patents (Class 116/293)
  • Patent number: 8800474
Abstract: A measuring gauge used for measuring and analyzing a physical value includes a measuring element for capturing the physical value, whereby the measuring element moves according to the physical value, a movement that moves a pointer in relation to the motion of the measuring element in a pointer plane around an axis of rotation of the pointer, whereby an additional indicator irreversibly displays the excess beyond a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 6234106
Abstract: A position indicator for a motor drive for actuating a step switch, tap changer, or dipping coil, has a display board having front and back faces and a first circular array of symbols on the front face corresponding to individual switching phases traversed during changeover of the motor drive from one operational position into another neighboring operational position. A first shaft extending through the board centrally of the first array and defining a first axis carries a pointer at the front face rotatable about the first axis through positions aligned with the symbols. A second circular array of symbols on the front face is associated with individual possible stationary operational positions of the step switch, the tap changer, or the dipping coil. A second pointer shaft projecting through the board centrally of the second array and defining a second axis carries a second pointer at the front face rotatable about the second axis through positions aligned with the symbols of the second array.

  • Patent number: 5650566
Abstract: A pressure gauge includes a base portion on which a cap is mounted, the base portion having a first indicating needle rotatably disposed to a center thereof, a frame disposed to the base portion and having two tubes extending therefrom, two activating bars and a second indicating needle mounted to the two tubes, each of the two activating bars having an extending plate pivotally connected thereto, the cap having a setting device disposed thereto so as to rotate the second indicating needle together with a higher extending plate, the lower extending plate together with the first indicating needle moved to a position where the lower extending plate is magnetically connected to the higher extending plate so as to stop an increment of a pressure.

  • Patent number: 4196690
Abstract: A device for indicating the maximum reading of a measuring instrument of the type having a needle turnable over a dial marked with a graduated scale extending for more than 360.degree. includes an auxiliary needle mounted on a pivot pin carried by a transparent screen covering the dial and lightly frictionally engaged with this pin so that it can be turned, for zero setting, by rotation of the pin by means of a knob attached to the outer end thereof. The auxiliary needle is provided with engagement means by which it is engaged by the main needle upon advancing movement, but which allows the main needle to pass the auxiliary needle should it require to do so, having reached a maximum position more than 360.degree. from the zero of the scale so that, upon returning to zero, it passes the auxiliary needle which remains fixed at the maximum position reached.
