  • Patent number: 10124717
Abstract: A customizable modular lamp is made up of an outer lens customized by known per se techniques, which covers a housing provided with at least one recess in which is mounted a customizable module consisting of a retro-reflective lens under which there is an inner customized lens personalized by known per se techniques, under which there is a printed circuit board with LEDs that is held in a holder fastened to a cover provided with at least one element for ventilation. During the daylight, personalization is visible on the outer customized lens. In the darkness and—depending on the recipient's request—when activating the lights for changing direction, position or braking, customization becomes evident by lighting inside the lamp, on the surface of the inner customized lens.

  • Patent number: 9517720
Abstract: A school bus sign with increased visibility is provided. The school bus stop sign apparatus includes at least a first stop sign and a second stop sign. The first stop sign may be pivotally attached to the side of a school bus. The second stop sign is attached to and substantially parallel with the side of the school bus. The second stop sign includes an indicator that allows drivers to sense that the bus is stopped to pick up children. When activated, the first stop sign may pivot 90 degrees and may be substantially perpendicular to the side of the bus. The indicator, such as a light, may be activated on the second stop sign. Therefore, a driver may see that the bus is picking up children from the front, the rear and the side.

  • Patent number: 5589814
Abstract: Considering the latest vehicle anti-theft systems and anti-theft warning systems that abound today, the theft of vehicles has not been slowed down to any appreciable amount. In fact, the car theft industry lids virtually kept pace with the car manufacturing industry. This invention has taken a common sense and practical approach to an anti-vehicle theft system that renders the front windshield opaque when the ignition switch is turned on and the vehicle is attempted to be stolen, while the security control switch is placed in the "on" mode. One embodiment was a thermopane type windshield with a space between two plates of unbreakable glass. The space between the two plates of glass has an opaque curtain or blind pulled up inside the void space from the bottom of the windshield to the top of the windshield to render the entire windshield opaque. Another embodiment is to provide several optional features that may be purchased by persons with limited funds although these options are not really required.
