Abstract: A weighted support assembly for supporting an upright post. The support assembly comprises: —a base frame comprising:—an elongate base member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post; and —a plurality of upright elongate members ascending from the base member; —a plurality of weights stacked in layers upon the base member; and —a top frame comprising:—an elongate top member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post above the base member; and —a plurality of elongate members descending from the top member. The ascending members engage telescopically with corresponding said descending members, and each said weight defines a hole therethrough which is penetrated by at least one of said ascending or descending members.

Abstract: Disclosed is a collapsible device which can provide at least partial containment for one or more objects, including a child or animal, and which can collapse or fold into a compact configuration in order to allow for improved portability of the collapsible device. In some implementations, the collapsible device can include a collapsible frame and at least one flexible material component that can be reversibly secured to the collapsible frame. In addition, some implementations can include a foldable base or at least one adaptable feature.

Abstract: An animal run having first and second side panels operable to be pivotally mounted along a central plane. A front panel is pivotally coupled with one of the side panels and operable to be detachably coupled to the other side panel. The side panels are moveable between a stored position, in which each side panel is positioned parallel the central plane, and an operational position, in which they extend outward at an angle from the central plane. The front panel is moveable between a stored position, in which it is positioned parallel the central plane, and an operational position, in which it is positioned at an angle from the side panel to which it is coupled and is detachably coupled with the other side panel. The side panels and front panel define an interior space for housing an animal when in their operational position.

Abstract: A portable anchoring apparatus and kit is provided which allows large animals to be safely hitched a safe distance from an anchoring object (e.g., a motor vehicle). Abstract: A pet pen for housing a pet is provided. The pet pen comprises a plurality of enclosing members with each enclosing member having a wall body and an opening end. The enclosing members form the pen by overlapping a portion of the wall body at two or more of the opening ends, and the pen width can be adjusted by adjusting the length of the overlapping portion. The pen width can be adjusted without removing an enclosing member.

Abstract: A unitary stackable fence module having end assemblies and span members is provided for forming a perimeter fence having an inwardly inclined profile. A right angle end support has vertical and horizontal members and an angle arm, spaced from and attached to a side edge of the vertical and horizontal members adjacent the span members. The unique arrangement permits a plurality of fence modules to be stacked for transport or storage. Loops formed on the vertical members permit pivotal pinning of fence modules together to form perimeter fences of any polygonal shape.

Abstract: A pop-up animal play area for a small animals or pets, such as a gerbil, hamster, rat, guinea pig, ferret, or the like. The enclosure provides an easily set-up and stored animal play enclosure. The enclosure has a sidewall with an overhanging lip or awning which precludes escape of the pets out of the device. The enclosure is built from fabric panels over a spring steel support assembly. The enclosure can be readily stored by compressing the spring support structure into a flat, thin ring assembly. Moreover, the enclosure structure may be further collapsed by twisting and coiling the assembly to form a smaller diameter package.

Abstract: The invention provides an indoor livestock confinement system that includes a plurality of hollow plastic panels. Each panel includes a plurality of spaced tabs at its ends. A first end of each panel includes a first set of tabs, and a second end of each panel includes a second set of tabs. Each set of tabs includes at least one tab at a top portion of the end, at least one tab at an intermediate portion of the end, and at least one tab at a lower portion of the end. The tabs of the first set are offset vertically from the tabs of the second set such that the first set of tabs of a first panel fit vertically between the second tabs of another panel when the ends of the panels are put together. Each tab includes a hole such that a rod can be inserted down through the tabs to lock the panels together. The livestock confinement system may include additional features, such as ventilation components, reinforced panels, and bucket holders.

Abstract: An inflatable, multi-purpose whelping system has an inflatable pen with an inflatable, peripheral side wall attached to a bottom. A liner that drapes the interior surfaces of the inflatable pen is fastened to the pen. The inflatable, peripheral side wall comprises a plurality of discretely inflatable segments disposed one atop another to allow for height-adjustment of the inflatable, peripheral side wall. The liner has a band biasing a peripheral portion of the liner into a wall seam between adjacent segments of the inflatable, peripheral side wall. The inflatable, multi-purpose whelping system includes a feeder. A method and a kit for preparing the inflatable multi-purpose whelping system are also disclosed.

Abstract: The invention is a portable den for dogs which is divided into a sleeping/feeding area and a litter area. This internal division, allows a puppy to avoid contact with the litter area except to relieve itself the dog's natural instinct to avoid soiling its den is reinforced. The portable den is fully collapsible for travel or storage.

Abstract: A collapsible kennel for use with capped truck beds includes a foldable floor section connected to a foldable wall section. When unfolded and assembled, the floor section is supported by a truck bed's side rails. If only a front wall section is used, the kennel must be abutted to the cab of the truck. If a front and a back wall section are used, the kennel may be anywhere along the length of the truck bed's side rails. The truck cap provides a ceiling and two sides. The wall section has doors to allow animal ingress and egress. The doors may be remotely opened by pulling a cord. The collapsible kennel has a divider for selectively dividing the kennel. When collapsed, the kennel can be easily stored and transported.

Abstract: A pet house substantially formed from a unitary blank of material, foldable from a collapsed state for shipping and storage to an erect state for use. The house includes a bottom having four edges. The house also includes first and second side walls and first and second end walls. The side walls are attached to one another forming an apex at the top of the house. One end wall includes an opening to permit the pet to ingress and egress the house. The bottom includes a slot near one edge for receiving a locking tab which extends from one of the side walls. Fasteners are provided for attaching the first and second end walls to the first and second side walls.

Abstract: A pen is provided for the exterior of an animal shelter house or calf hutch, and is mounted onto an adjustable universal frame that fits on the exterior of the animal shelter house and is secured to the house. The frame is adjustable in width using cross members that overlap and are secured together in an adjusted position. The frame provides vertically extending guides that form a track for receiving side walls of the pen so that the pen can be slid longitudinally of the animal shelter house from an extended position which provides an exercise area pen to a retracted position wherein a forward panel of the pen will close the door or opening in the end of the animal shelter house. The end wall of the pen supports a suitable holder for feeding buckets for the calf or young animal.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for converting a stock trailer into a horse trailer. Dividers are mounted on the inside of a stock trailer to create separate compartments for a number of horses. When the trailer reaches its destination, the dividers can be removed and used in combination with the stock trailer to create a corral for the horses.

Abstract: A plurality of interconnected panels are pivotally mounted to a vehicle for use in forming a portable animal enclosure. The weight of the panels is substantially supported by the vehicle while being pivoted into a deployed position, making it easy for those of slighter stature, such as women, to deploy and configure the portable animal enclosure. Two sets of interconnected panels may be mounted to the vehicle for forming a single enclosure. Additional sets of interconnected panels may be added to form further enclosures. The sets of interconnected panels may be configured into variously shaped enclosures. The interconnected panels may be configured to telescope or nest inside one another when stored on the vehicle, so as to protrude only slightly from the side of the vehicle when in a folded position for transportation or storage.
