Abstract: In one embodiment, an adjustable surface stiffness treadmill includes a treadmill unit, a scissor mechanism that supports the treadmill unit, a stiffness adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a vertical stiffness of the treadmill unit, and an input link having a first end and a second end, the first end being connected to the scissor mechanism and the second end being connected to the stiffness adjustment mechanism, wherein the input link translates downward vertical forces imposed upon the treadmill unit into horizontal forces imposed upon the stiffness adjustment mechanism.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a light weight pet spa that will consist of an upper section suspended above a lower tub section. Adjustable stabilizing leg members secured and operationally engaged underneath the upper section and within the lower tub section wherein the upper section can be adjusted to support the height of the sues while bathing a pet thereby decreasing the required bending and lifting when bathing a pet in a conventional bath tub.

Abstract: An elevating animal bathing tub having an elevating platform and a tub formed of light weight strong material secured to the platform. The tub is provided with a downward directed skirt and the elevating platform is provided with an upward directed skirt that telescopes with the skirt on the tub to shield the elevating apparatus. The tub is provided with an entry cutout so that when the tub is in the lowered position an animal to be bathed can easily enter the tub. The tub is configured to accept utilities and attachments specific to the tasks to which the tub is to serve.

Abstract: A pet bathing apparatus includes an inner casing defining a space for accommodating a pet and having a transparent door for entrance and exit of the pet, an outer casing provided outside the inner casing and spaced apart from the inner casing, and a base part including a support plate having openings and a net arranged on the support plate. A spray nozzle unit distributes water into the space and includes a plurality of fixed and rotary nozzles. A water supply unit includes a main tube coupled with a plurality of branch tubes, which are coupled with the spray nozzle unit, a water feeding pipe defining a water supply path to the main tube, and a container for supplying shampoo to the water feeding pipe. A drain unit collects and removes water, and a blowing unit provides air to the inner casing.

Abstract: A lightweight and portable pet bathing apparatus for bathing small pets in a bathtub or shower stall includes a bathing platform upon which the pet can stand or sit while being washed. A pedestal structure, including a base and vertical support post, supports the bathing platform at a convenient height which allows a person to stand while bathing the animal. The bathing platform is specifically structured and configured to provide full access to the animal's underside, including the chest, belly and legs, so that the animal can be easily and thoroughly washed and rinsed with the use of a handheld shower nozzle. A drainage system directs water from the bathing platform into the base where it is contained in order to increase the weight of the base, thereby providing greater stability to the apparatus.

Abstract: A veterinary bathing station for washing animals is shown which includes a stall having a bottom wall and enclosing sidewalls. One of the sidewalls has a door opening for ingress and egress of an animal to be bathed or groomed. A ramp is connected to the stall bottom wall by a rotatable coupling and can be rotated between a retracted and extended positions which allow the ramp to easily rotate in and out of the open space created under the bottom wall of the washing stall to thereby allow the animal ingress and egress through the wall opening.
