    Abstract: A carrier with a harness and a platform having a plurality of releasable fasteners. The harness includes at least three sets of straps extendable around a dog's torso, with one of these strap sets being disposed proximate with the dog's neck and another with its hindquarters. Each releasable fastener is attachable to one of the strap sets proximate with the dog's underside and is anchored to one of a plurality of connectors which are spaced apart from each other and slideably tethered to the platform. Mountable on a bicycle, the platform is rigidly secured to, and supported in part by, the bicycle handlebars or, alternately, the bicycle seat post. The platform is further supported by at least one pair of frame members rigidly affixed thereto. The frame members of each such pair extend downwardly, straddling one of the spoked wheels of the bicycle, and are releasably secured to the bicycle frame proximate with the hub of the wheel they straddle.

The harness includes an upper body portion encircling loop which is uniquely designed to remain open to receive the person's head and arms after which it automatically chinches down about the person's back or chest in a manner to positively secure the person within the harness loop.

    Abstract: A one piece safety harness for children is disclosed which connects a child to the parent with an inelastic strap which is worn around the waist of the adult as a belt and which is continuously affixed to a harness worn around the torso of the child. The harness is made of an elasticized belting material comprised of a waistband with two shoulder straps which cross at the back and which are permanently sewn to the waistband. The connecting strap is made of an inelastic woven material and is permanently sewn to the side of the waistband of the harness and which is then worn laced around the waist of the parent and then drawn through a two ring metal closure.

    Abstract: An animal harness for restraining an animal with a leash having a front strap, a body strap, and a width restricting strap. Each end of the front strap is attached to the body strap with a connecting member which has slits for receiving both the front strap and the body strap therethrough. The width restricting strap is designed to pass between the front legs of the animal and secured at one end to the front strap and at the other end to the body strap. At least one ring connecting member is provided on an upper part of the body strap for securing a leash thereto.
