  • Patent number: 11267591
Abstract: A system and method for installing, deploying, and recovering a plurality of spacecraft that provides an ease of use and structural stability, and facilitates a standardization of spacecraft design. In embodiments of this invention, threaded rods are arranged orthogonal to a surface of a baseplate, and each spacecraft includes a coupling mechanism that selectively engages or disengages each threaded rod. Each spacecraft is added to the stack by engaging its coupling mechanism and rotating the threaded rods while the preceding spacecraft on the stack disengage their coupling mechanisms, thereby enabling the spacecraft to travel along the threaded rods toward the baseplate. When all of the spacecraft are added to the stack, the stack is preloaded by rotating the treaded rods into a terminator component at the top of the stack while the coupling mechanisms in all of the spacecraft are disengaged. Spacecraft are deployed by reversing the process.

  • Patent number: 8991372
Abstract: A portable device to compress a bow comprising a pulley system with a block and tackle and fixed pulleys which, by wiring, are connected to a set of fastening supports with fastening ends. The fastening ends fasten and pull the ends of the arms or limbs of a bow, under traction exerted by the block and tackle. The block and tackle has a drive portion and a brake controlling the traction and release of the cables connected to the fastening supports. Upon pulling the drive portion, the block and tackle produces the approach between the first and the second pulleys. This displacement between the pulleys acts on the cables which, through the fixed pulleys, cause the approach between the fastening supports. This displacement of the fastening supports overcomes the resistance of the bow and compresses it. Once the desired compressive level is reached, the brake or blockage is actuated.

  • Patent number: 8701640
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to specialized flying discs and launching devices having a launching arm that can be held by a user, the arm being coupled to a flying disc via a coupler disposed at the launching end of the arm, and an attachment member disposed on the periphery of the flying disc. When swung by the user with appropriate force, the disc becomes un-coupled from the arm and takes flight. In some examples, the attachment members define distinct attachment nodes disposed within attachment openings. In some other examples the attachment member defines a concentric ring disposed on the periphery of the disc.

Abstract: A money gun shoots out paper currency and includes a receptacle for placing money and an exit slot from which the money is shot. The money gun may be used, for example, in clubs to allow customers to spend money faster while tipping dancers. By putting money into the money gun, it frees up the customer from using their hands and keeps count of all the money he or she is spending.

  • Patent number: 8567382
Abstract: A bow stabilizer/vibration dampener incorporating one or more attachment rails for mounting a variety of accessories to the stabilizer for use in conjunction with the bow or other target sighting device. The rails are adjustable side to side at their ends and are preferably of the picatinny or weaver rail configuration. Anywhere from one to four (or more) accessory rails may be positioned symmetrically or asymmetrically on the stabilizer. In addition, the invention anticipates application of the adjustable rail structures positioned in other locations on the bow.

  • Patent number: 8529384
Abstract: Marker tag darts, dart guns therefor, and methods which allow a toy gun to receive a marker tag dart, to put water in the forward tip of the dart and to shoot the dart. The marker tag dart itself has slits in the wall of a small chamber at the front of the dart so that on impact with a target, the inertia of the water causes deformation of the tip and opening of the slits to eject water for marking the location of the marker tag dart hit. The dart guns are spring chocked, and propel the dart with a blast of air from an air pump powered by the spring. Various embodiments and modes of operation are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8505523
Abstract: An improved archery bow press used to safely relieve tension in the bow string of a short limbed compound archery bow. Slidable brackets are retained to a horizontal beam and retain pivot arms to the beam. Brackets slidable along each of the pivot arms may be locked in place. Each pivot arm includes a bearing member which abuts a limb of a compound bow. A jack is mounted to the beam to raise and lower link members connected to the pivot arms. The link members are adjustable in length. Markings are provided on the adjustable members so that adjustments to those elements can be made based on data in a table correlating settings for specific compound bows. Safety latches lock the bow limbs to the slidable brackets. A method for presetting the press is provided.

Abstract: Arrow securing devices and quivers along with various methods of using and making the same are disclosed herein. An exemplary arrow securing device typically includes a cord, one or two nock coupling end. Additionally, the exemplary arrow securing device typically includes a locking mechanism and a one of an anchor point and an anchor member operatively coupled to the cord. Each nock coupling end is typically located proximal an end of the cord. The locking mechanism can be connected to the cord and is releasably lockable. The one of the anchor point and the anchor member is adapted to couple the cord to a portion of a quiver. Arrow securing devices having the locking mechanism or the one of an anchor point and an anchor member, such as a hooking mechanism, can be attached to various portions of a quiver.
