These four edges allow a person to easily trim or shape their hair, such as a beard, by following the edges of the hair trimming guide. The curved edges are used when a person wants a curved outline to their beard, such as along the cheeks. If no curved outlines are desired, a user can simply trim with the straight edges. For use with larger or smaller facial areas, the hair trimming guide can be offered in multiple sizes, providing a larger size for larger facial areas and a smaller size for smaller facial areas, especially around the nose and mouth. The hair trimming guide is flat and smooth which enables it to be pressed against a user's face without causing discomfort.

Abstract: A hair styling comb comprising a body having a handle, a release cone, and a guide measuring system that are combined to precisely separate hair in orderly rows for braiding. The guide measuring system facilitates successive measurement of a partial circumference of spaced apart sections of the scalp. Each section is radially measured by successive placement of the comb measuring section upon the scalp, followed by linear movements of the comb until a peripheral measurement is approximated by the combined readings. The spaced apart circumference regions are reduced to increments by dividing their length measurements by the number of desired braid rows the stylist is creating. The release cone is placed in the grooves of the bottom of the braid and ten slid through smoothly upwardly to the scalp of the nape line. The release cone releases the grips of the braids.

Abstract: The invention concerns both a method and device for cutting hair. The device includes a multi-faceted cutting means (10) and a handle (20). The cutting means (10) is preferably formed from a broken piece of glass, preferably having a ragged broken edge to form a multi-faceted cutter with a plurality of cutting edges (13) distributed across it. Having cutting edges (13) distributed in this way, has been found to advantageously provide hair styling effects which give good texture to a hair cut and provide natural build.

Abstract: A both hand hair cutting method is for hairdressers to hold proper tools, such as scissors, razors, electric cutters, plural scissors, in a right hand and a left hand to perform cutting at the same time or not at the same time, depending on personal hair quality, hair quantity, length and needed styles. The lower levels of the right side and the left side of hair can be cut to have the same directions, and cutting the angle of hair, combing hair, and trimming the lower ends of hair can be easily performed by a hairdresser according to this method. The hairdresser is not disturbed by the head shape, the ears, the shoulders, and the hair length of a customer. The hair can be cut with fastness, enabling the finished hair style to look soft, natural and beautiful.

Abstract: A cutting tool includes first, second and third pairs of scissors. The first and third pairs of scissors are spaced apart from the second pair of scissors by a fixed distance. Each pair of scissors includes a first elongated member and a second elongated member pivotally coupled to the first elongated member. Each elongated member has a handle portion and a cutting portion, including a cutting blade. The cutting tool further includes spacing elements disposed between each pair of scissors to offset the pairs of scissors from each other. A retaining member is coupled to the first elongated member of each pair of scissors to secure the first elongated members together. The second elongated member of each pair of scissors, however, is movable independent of the other scissors. The cutting tool is ideally suited for cutting and styling hair when dry.
